Bad Case Of Wheezing; Meet Snoop Dog!

The PawHealer team has been working with Snoop Dog ...he's only 18 months old. The wheezing formula is working for him, getting him off the predisone.We have sent out a second batch to Deanna for Snoop Dog, but there is some concern here. Lets Wish Peeks The Cats The Best!

Dr. Pink Pinkerton and I sent off a formula today to help Mr. Peeks the cat.Peeks was just diagnosed with Feline Hyperthyroidism.Dr. Pink and I put alot of thought into what we should do with Mr. Peeks formula. After extensive research we decided to put Mr. Peeks on the very famous zhi bai di huang wan and we modified it with shi gao.We need this modification for Peeks because of his extreme hungering. We felt that the bio-meds would control the goiter, and we feel that getting rid of the deficiency heat was paramount in this situation.Heat is not a good thing to have...think of a car running low on oil...it runs hot, and then it burns out. Dr. Pink Pinkerton and I got a call from Anne, her dog Sport was not feeling well. I haven't seen such an improvement in 1 1/2 years. Honest! He still is licking his front paw, but not as much. This is Bully and he has a collapsed trachea...but there is a story about Bully. He is one of the first dog's that started working with Dr. Pink Pinkerton and myself.Rudy (Bully's owner)...is a dedicated and loving pet owner. This is Chandalar, she is the bigger dog, not the stuff toy in the purse and Chandalar has been having terrible problems with her trachea, causing her not to get any sleep because she's coughing and wheezing almost 24 hours a day! Here is the link for the temperature of foods for our dogs and cats;Chinese Food Therapy for Dogs and Cats Dr. Pink Pinkerton and I have promised this information for a long time!How do we use this chart?Well, if for example the pet seems to run "hot" which would be indicated by panting, seeking cool places, thirst, redness of the skin or eyes, etc, then the food choices would come from the foods that are either Cool/Cold or from the neutral category.The reverse of that would be if for instance the pet appeared chilled, wanting to curl up in a ball, wants under the covers of bedding, or seeks to lie in the sunlight, then the food choices would come from the group of Warm/Hot foods and from the neutral category.Not sure? Then use foods from only the neutral category.In the future the PawHealer team will be posting many more diets and food choices.Stay tuned!

Shaman is a 14 yr old Shih Tzu who had prednisone for one week and developed demodex (commonly called red mange, a follicular parasitic mite infestation. The original infection was horrific. Shaman can never take prednisone again. The original infestation cleared up mostly, however Shaman has had an infected toe for 1 1/2 years that is red and hot and sometimes oozy because he licks and licks. We go to the dermatologist constantly and she has prescribed a zillion different antibiotics (when she cultures bacteria its a sure sign he has become resistant to that type of antibiotic.) Anyway, the monthly cultures indicate maybe one or two mites...they are insanely itchy so he is at his paw all the time. This morning...Dr. Pink Pinkerton and I opened up our customer mail to find this from Dixie and her mom posted on the blog...Dixie Baby Hanging In There . There is an amazing difference in the way Dixie looks. Her eyes look so much better(not sick and weak). SHE'S EATING AND DRINKING WATER. SHE IS ABLE TO WALK AROUND AND PLAY FOR TWO OR THREE HOURS AT A TIME . I'M NOT SAYING SHE'S IS OVER THIS THING. BUT THE WORD FOR ME RIGHT NOW IS AMAZING. I'LL KEEP YOU UPDATED . THANKS AGAIN . Doris is from Arkansas and she was calling the PawHealer team to see if we could help with her 12 year old Bear .Bear is a Chow mixed with a Wolf , he weighs 80lbs and sadly, according to Doris, Bear was loosing all the use of his hind quarters.Doris told us that Bear had been diagnosed with Arthritis of the hips and the right leg. I've had great success with this particular disease. Especially effective if the dog has just recently started the awful "honking cough". Dr Pink and me (pawHealer) are a little irritated today.Yesterday we posted about the sick dog that had Kidney disease. We are very familiar with this disease because our family member Sweet Orbit also has renal failure but we control it through food and herbs.We received many messages from Micky's owner about his worsening condition and we have tried to help her figure out what is best for her Mickey because Micky is getting five shots a day of sodium/chloride, and something is not working.Mickey is not eating and that is a very bad sign. His kidney count was 61 and the vet had him for a day with an IV in him,when I took him home his count was 36. I have him home now for about a week and half. To give a Reader's Digest version of his history: He is now 6 yrs old. When he turned 2 he became fear aggressive with no warning and would bite to the bone. Dear Pinky and Pawhealer; OK Anne Oaklee is a 7 year old sable/fawn 14# stocky dachshund. Annes trouble began this summer we live in northeast Iowa she broke out fur sticking up flacky spots and lossing fur. We tought that it could be heartguard, she really broke out after getting it. She was doing well untill we bought a new frig and DH was cleaning with some orange cleaner & pinesol (I do not use it unless I have to) and she broke out again. Stomach problems began last January Vet put her on S/D sensitive Stomach, she also gets boiled Burger & Rice at night. We had a big problem with glands even thought about having them removed we had to get them cleaned every 2 weeks that has not been a problem for awhile. Anne sometimes likes cover and sometimes not. Her fur is on the coarser side and no dandruff unless she breaks out. None of our neighbors spray and we bag our yard every time. Sparky Has Congestive Heart Failure

Spakry hails from Tacoma, Washington, and has just been told by the vet that he has Congestive Heart Failure and along with the fact that his trachea is now beginning to collapse.Sparky is a 12 year old male Silky Terrier and other then this cough that has just started of recent, his mom says he is as active as a puppy and has no other health related issues.The only real symptom that Sparky is exhibiting is the cough that worsens with activity. Unfortunately the recent set of x rays shows that Sparky does have an enlarged heart....After asking Susana his mom many questions, the only real clue I could gather is a tendency towards dryness.The cough is described as a gagging sound, as if Sparky is trying to cough up phlegm.I asked about vaccinations and Sparky does get them on a yearly basis, and his mom did remember that about two years ago, after the shots, Sparky developed a cough that never really went away.The only clue that I could ascertain as to what TCM pattern is the cough...
