Jamie Oliver and my passion for cooking

This is how I feel about cooking. I always enjoyed good food (but really who doesn't). But what is better than using your own hands and the creative part of your mind?The chef that literally changed the way I'm cooking is Jamie Olive r . I first watched him in his cooking show, "Oliver's Twist". He loves cooking in "mediterranean" way and he doesn't really care about quantities and time of cooking. Live Earth and reality
2007-07-06 01:16:00 Almost everybody knows that on 7/7/2007 8 concerts in 8 different cities will try to increase the awareness of the public about the climate crisis. But I totally agree with the George Marshall that:Their aim is admirable, but if we are serious about climate change, then telling concert-goers to take the bus once a week is not enoughIf you visit the official website of the event you will find some simple "ways" to fight against the further polution of the earth. But in my opinion they are over-simplistic. The problem needs far more drastic solutions than these.All-in-all I think that people are becoming (if they allready didn't) aware of the problem and this leads to a pressure to their governments. Mainly a graffiti artist and famous for his "controversial ways" of expression, Banksy is my favourite artist not only because of his radical ideas of expression but also because of his political messages. These websites are really "vital" for me and I visit them many times per day.So.. let's start:1st of all email is the most important service in our days. For this, gmail has everything I need. Large space (almost 3gb and increases every day) and it's extremely fast. Plus it has a wonderful java application to check your emails from your mobile. The 2nd thing I do every day is to check the news from news.google.com. I like it because you can find all the news from all the news sources out there in one page. 3 Another website I like (for world news especially) is bbcnews because they are not exhaggerating (as cnn.com usually does) but it becomes annoying when you read in the main headlines about cricket (that nobody really cares). Andreas Gursky @ Istanbul Modern (summer 2007)
2007-06-26 20:54:00 Today I feel very lucky.I visited Istanbul 's (wonderful) museum of Modern Arts that is very close to my house.I knew that the famous photographer Andrea s Gursky sold his "99 sent" print for $2 million (the most expensive photo in history!) and I wanted to see it by myself. I wanted to go to this exhibition not only because I love photography but also to see if the quality of his work justifies that high price for a single photo. And guess what, it does! (below you can see his famous "99 cent" photo)My day became even more brighter after the photographic exhibition of a young Turkish-Dutch artist with the name Ahmet Polat and his exhibition "Kimsin sen?" EU's new Treaty agreement
2007-06-24 19:55:00 In this blog you will notice that I have some obsessions and I would like to post them from time to time...I have a big interest in politics and especially in EU politics.Most of you have already read about the new EU treaty that is planned to substitute the Constitution Treaty. But the main reason for this post is because Poland is a pain in the ass! This country wanted to protect their vote power and to count almost the same with Germany's even though the latter have double population from Poland. For this, they were willing to blow out the whole process by veto. But what do you expect from a country that has for a president and prime minister identical twin brothers!! But I think we should blame UK also (or even more than Poland). They are so anti-EU and they always put new hurdles in every chance. Just read the BBC's forum for this case and their not so friendly posts for EU.Maybe Poland behaviour was supported from UK... who knows!Anyway... I love EU (thank god the Italian PM...
