Preview: Musée du Louvre - Part 2
2007-07-30 03:55:00 Excited JoePOP is jumping high in Musée du Louvre .. Just another wee post before the actual post.. Don't you think Joe can really jump?!! Just like smashpOp.. :P There are more and more pop's style blogging emerging, nowadays... So, What do u think about that?Finally i got to move into a true room in JBC, which can be consider very fortunate.. The main thing is that i don't need to pay 63 quid for a week stay in Birkbeck.. the other reason was to stop bothering my friends who are currently busy studying for their exams when i was sharing a room with YauShin aka Ron.. Was pretty scared when i moved in at first.. but it turn out to be alright tonight, when we had a 'wee' chat.. :P Anyway, the window view from J10-2 was just spectacular.. when compared to the F2-3 on ground floor.. & the moon was freaking huge tonight.. took a couple of photos, i think that i wouldn't get to see another full moon from JBC.. this will probably be my last moon shot in JBC though..Was phoned up by J... 2007-07-29 02:09:00 I was working in Carling Suite in Ibrox Stadium for the friendly match of Range rs & Chelsea ... bet that Kv must be dreaming of working there though.. :P Carling Suite was just right above where the broadcasting camera.. very nice view over the whole stadium.. Well, nobody expects Rangers to win over Chelsea.. sounds like Rangers had fought well this time!Match day magazine "stolen" from Carling Suite.. haha, it was actually given by my supervisor.. since there were extras..Just another wee post, going to work in Celtic Park tomorrow.. willbe updating on the match if i m free then.. cheers! 2007-07-24 22:21:00 4 July 2007 - Liver pool - You'll never walk alone~First of all let, Billy Fury welcomes you all to Albert dock in Liverpool!Arrival to the coach station in Liverpool, JMU - Liverpool John Moores University is just around the corner of the road around the station..A tall tower broadcasting Radio City 96.7 in the city centre of Liverpool.. i met up with my big bro LeoKhoo and his family at MetQuater shopping complex, which was roughly 15 minutes walking distance from the coach station.. He brought me to the famous Mathew Street, the birth place of The Beatle s ..The Beatles shop .. we didn't manage get inside, according to Leo.. the merchandise were quite expensive therefore i wouldn't dare to get in.. :P somemore we were actually rushing to finish off all the attractions in Liverpool in a few hours..Later we went to the actually birthplace of The Beatles - The Cavern Club.. This is the 'Crown' of the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral..Very unique architecture..Will be working continuously for four days in Carnoustie Golf Links in a big event called The Open Championship (which is known as British Open) which is one of the four major mens golf championship.. If i'm fortunate enough, i might be able to see Tiger Woods around though.. :P Anyway.. this might just be the last blog post i made in Birkbeck court.. coz i willbe moving in to JBC soon.. Dinner again at New Loon Fung
2007-07-16 05:45:00 It's another dinner and i don't think i need to mention the purpose of this dinner anyway.. This time it's for Philip, DoreenKiu & Felicia..Its my first time in New Loon Fung restaurant ("Loon Fung" means "Dragon & Phoenix") at the end of Sauchiehall Street, just opposite the Garage club.. the first impression was not bad.. The front walkway leading to the restaurant inside gave us a very 'chinese' feel...Dragon & Phoenix decorations at the wall.. with the chinese "wedding" word in the middle.. There is a nice aquarium beside the other wall as well.. too bad there isn't any fish inside, i would certainly expect it to contain fish such as an Asian arowana which is known as"Dragon fish" in chinese culture..some other decorations at the side of the other wall.. there weren't many customers today.. which is quite common on Sundays..We got a free soup as starters.. and we ordered 8 dishes to have it with rice..Belacan KangKung.. Photo download link will be up later on.. :PPhoto download link HERE!Had a hard working day at Hamilton today!.. it was raining just like in M'sia.. very wet, not like the normal Glasgow weather at all.. somemore there were somebody triggered a false fire alarm with cause a delay of 30 min.. when we finally finished our job.. we were forced to wait for the bus in the rain & the most frustrating thing is that the bus can only fit 24 person, and there were like more than 50 of us going back to Glasgow! We didn't had much to eat.. the gals intention was just to had some desserts because they were going to have a dinner later on that day cooked by ChinYee's mum..Here's the drinks/cocktails we ordered.. Pepsi coke, Oreo milkshake, Long island ice tea, Margarita..My MargaritaYihYang & Acrelaine..Kelvin, YihYang & Acrelaine..Cheesy balls ordered by myself.. very nice texture & very cheesy~ that explains that this is not a diet dish though it seems like a small portion..
