First one would be today's midvalley for my own b'day.. nothing much, just had a lunch with Acrix, Acrelaine, AhFoo, YingJia & SiauYong.. Went over to La Mian Xiao Long Bao to have a lunch..Everyone's dishes..Dining mates~AhFoo & SiauYong.. AhFoo just got himself a brand new Canan DSLR 400D.. which only cost him like RM 2300, quite a good deal rite?! Where's urs Acrix?!!Acrelaine, YingJia & Acrix..After lunch, Katherine met up with us.. then later on 5 of us (foo, acrix, yingjia, siauyong & myself) went on to watch a movie called "Hairspray" by John Travolta, Michelle Pfeiffer & Queen Latifah..Went on to buy some expedition equipments before heading home at about 7pmWent home and opened up the b'day present i got from Acrix, Acrelaine, Samantha, Katherine, SiauYong, YingJia & AhFoo.. 2007-09-11 00:16:00 Have got lots to update yet, too little time.. been busying on fund raising stuffs every single day... although i have been collecting junks and second hand stuffs for a month, it's seems like those that i have got are still not enough to earn enough for my expedition.. so if you're reading this and living around KL, you can always approach me if you would like to donate any of your unwanted junks which still has second hand value..Btw, the jumble sales for these second hand stuffs will be on Plaza Mont Kiara Flea Market on 23rd and 30th September (both sundays).. Was really grateful that some of my friends who take great effort in 'digging' their stuffs out for me.. particularly Acrix, Acrelaine, WenMing & WenLing, LeeLee & BeeLi.. and any others who's still digging on their stuffs..Here's just two photos as a wee update, just got these photos from the studio last friday...that's all.. :P update more when i have the time.. cheers!! 2007-09-01 21:36:00 Our country is 50 years old now!! I am not as patriotic as Joe who asked everyone to register as NEW voter.. :P (visit HERE for more info).. Anyway, i did do something to show my love to the country....... i went to Putrajaya to take fireworks photos at the hill beside the Prime Minister office building, together with CheeSung, a professional photographer who is currently working in a studio..There's a breathtaking view from the hill.. you can almost see the whole Putrajaya from the hill, to be honest i have no idea what's the name of the hill, but i am pretty sure that Hotel Shangri-la Putrajaya is situated on the hill as well..The Prime Minister's office.. very huge building.. do they really utilized every space inside?!Okay, here is the first firework when its officially 31st August 2007.. Then we only realised that we were on the wrong hill to take photos of the fireworks.. 90% of the fireworks were actually blocked by the Putrajaya convention centre!!This 'rambutan'-like ... Graduation at Sheraton Subang
2007-08-24 22:14:00 Most of you will be thinking: What the heck?! another graduation?! Well, yes this is the other graduation held in Malaysia, which is only held as a replacement for parents who cannot attend the actual one held in Glasgow.. A very last event that all P104 got together in it.. Guess what most of us will be going in to the health care society and play our own unique role as a pharmacist.. Some of them have even got their posting place confirmed, some was sent to Sabah, some to Perlis.. Wednesday KL day tour..
2007-08-22 22:56:00 Its been a long year since i roaming the sky of KL city centre.. Not much change though, except for the golden design of the exterior part of Sinma complex & a whole lesser pirated CDs & DVDs around.. haha :P i still need them though..Petaling street is still the best China Town!! Lots of variety of food and lots of cheap stuffs to buy.. though lots of them are actually imitate/pirated stuffs.. LOL..Went over to meet Acrix to have beef noodles at Kota Raya.. The beef noodles taste much better with lesser sour soup base.. Still the same price thoughlater we head to Pasar Seni to get some postcards for my former boss - BlueArrow..Went over to get some CDs in SinMa then to Pudu to collect graduation photos from the FotoRex company.. damn they earned a lot from us!! anyway, coincidently we met AhFoo & sis SiauYong & Feli at FotoRex! Raleigh is a UK based youth development organisation which aim to help the youth to discover their full potential via various voluntary expeditions and projects. apart from discovering your personal full potential, you can also make a little and a better change to the world..It's all starting with Introduction weekend, where the participants join into a camp in order to get to know more about expedition, whether they are ready for the real thing or not.. the following will be the fund raising events done by the participants him/herself in order to fund the expedition cost.. The last will be the actual expedition which consists of three phase, i.e. environmental, adventure and community phases.. three weeks for each phase. In the end, the participants will benefits from the fund raising and expedition which in turn help develops the individual as a whole person.So why should i do a intro over here, because i am actually going to expedition this... This final graduation marks a new page in my life, though i won't be starting my pharmacist job as early as most of my colleagues. But the final graduation actually tells people that i wouldn't be called as a student anymore! Will definitely miss the excellent internet connection speed here!! Won't have that good internet access back in M'sia, blog updating will solely depend on how often i got a internet access!A short two day trip was the first time i got sick before i go for a trip, sore throat and cough was really serious before the trip & throughout the trip until now! Traveling by bus/National express was not that good as well.. It was not as good as expected.. My return bus was delayed for one and a half hours just because of the late bus.. and the lazy bus driver took 3x 30min breaks in between the travel and ate 3 full meals! in turn got stuck in traffic jam and in the end reach Glasgow at 9pm which is three and a half hours later than the supposing 5.30pm arriving time!Big ben of the Parliament buildingLondon Eye at River ThamesBuckingham Palace..Greenwich Meridian..Tower bridge..Had a dinner with YauShin ri...
