Katie - Rural Dirt Road
2007-08-31 01:51:00 Something I shot this past weekend in Lawrence, Kansas. I really liked how this turned out. We drove out to a rural road outside of Lawrence, Kansas to look for the perfect dirt road. After driving over a huge hill and finding a dead end I knew we have a good spot without a lot of traffic that would kick dust up. Rural gravel road in Lawrence, Kansas
2007-08-28 10:19:00 Shot this while setting up for a photo shoot in Lawrence , Kansas this past weekend. This was the opposite direction from what I was shooting and liked how the sun engulfed the entire frame washing it out. So I tweaked it a bit in Photoshop and posted it here. Phoenix Wall - Phoenix Arizona
2007-08-06 05:21:00 Walking around after a shoot while out in Phoenix , Arizona I found this interesting wall that for some reason had razor wire atop of it. Not sure what the business on the other side of the wall was but they obviously did not want anyone on that side of it. Regardless of the reason for the extra protection, the sun was hitting the wall full blast and created enough light to bring down my exposure to make the sky a nice blue color. Street Scene - New Orleans, Louisiana
2007-08-01 13:43:00 Found this monotone scene while walking around New Orleans , Louisiana while I was on a shoot down there. The only photoshop i did to this was bringing the contrast up a bit. This was shot in the great town of Lawrence , Kansas where I lived for 6 years and miss it very much. The model is Katie , a girl I shot with last summer. We did a shoot near the river and I used at 10.5mm lens to shoot this with an on camera flash to bring down the background a few stops. I dig it. Hawaii Ocean Part 2

I like the position of everything in the frame but I do not like when I shoot wide open shots how I have to crop in camera. When I shoot with a fisheye it helps but it is still frustrating. Wide Angle Photo Shoot
2007-07-13 09:49:00 This photo was shot using only a reflector and a 10.5mm fisheye lens...and a little bit of photoshop (but not much.) The photo came out looking like a lifestyle shoot but that was not the intention. I do like everything about this from the smiling subjects to the color to the overall look and feel. We were driving away from the North Shore on Oahu and I wanted to take another peak at this bay right off the highway before we left the area. I thought this was going to turn into a different photo when I looked at the area. After taking a few quick shots I lined this up and now it is in front of you.
