2008-04-12 15:39:00 Wilder's on Main St. is a piano bar/restaurant. It has been in Joplin since 1929. I've never eaten there myself (a bit too expensive for a poor college student like myself), but I hear the food is excellent.

Ice Again
2008-02-22 19:32:00 A short week after out last icy day (has it been a week since I've posted? Gah, sorry about that!) we've had another ice storm. This one wasn't so bad, but everything is covered in a thick layer of ice and I doubt the trees will ever recover from this year's weather.

I considered many different alternative perspectives to take.Should I focus on Joplin and its place in outlaw lore? The lawlessness of the 1800's and the popular hideout of those like Bonnie and Clyde?
