DarkEyez has been up for more than 1½ years now but still doesn't contain any pictures of actress Lace y Chabert . So I guess it's about time I post a few. The former "Party of Five" star is known for her roles in Lost in Space and Mean Girls. Last year she landed a role in the horror flick Black Christmas together with Michelle Trachtenberg. According to IMDB, 2007 looks like a busy year for Lacey with appearences in six different film projects including in Bryan Goeres's latest thriller The Lost.When the FHM magazine recently published their list of the 100 sexiest women in the world 2007 Lacey was listed at #80. Canadian pop/rock singer Avril Lavigne released her third album a few days ago. Titled "The Best Damn Thing", the CD includes the Eragon movie hit "Keep Holding On", the new single "Girlfriend" as well as ten other new songs. Avril described the album to be more upbeat and aggressive than her previous albums and the single "Girlfriend" is a good example of the album's sound.So far "The Best Damn Thing" has gotten great reviews from the critics. King Kong promo stills & premiere

If you haven't been living under a rock the last six months you probably know that Peter Jackson is making a new version of the classic movie King Kong from 1933. The movie opens up all over the world next week. I don't think I have to go through the film's plot. Big angry apes usually likes skyscrapers and this ape is no different.The film's cast includes Naomi Watts, Jack Black and Adrien Brody. I posted a few stills of them from the movie two weeks ago. See them here. Yesterday Universal had a special screening of the movie and I found a couple of pictures from that event. Besides Naomi, Lindsay Lohan and Evan Rachel Wood also attended. It's time again to have a look at a new game on the PC. This time it's definitely something unique and special. How does this sound? A third-person zombie simulator filled with brain-eating and humor? It sounds weird and it is. After all, It's not meant to be "dead" serious. I'm talking about Wideload's latest game "Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel without a Pulse". You begin the game as a low-level zombie without any special powers, but through eating brains of humans you learn special zombie skills like throwing your arms & limbs at enemies or release gas clouds.You can also create and give commands to other zombies. By controlling them as a group you can use them as an offensive weapon or let them shield you from human attacks. Lindsay Lohan 's second full-length album will be released in a couple of days. The title is "A Little More Personal (Raw)" and contains twelve new songs including the single "Confessions Of A Broken Heart (Daughter To Father)". Judging by the look of the cover I guess Lindsay is definatelly trying to leave her Disney image behind for good. The days are getting darker and shorter and I guess that means it's safe to say that the winter is here to stay for a while. And talking about winter, AC Seven's latest release is called Winter 2005 Mix 1. The CD contains new dance & trance releases from various artists like Dj Sammy, D.H.T and Lee S mixed together in one long mix.This time around he focus mostly on various styles of trance but the tracks are also longer than usual due to the fact that the mix is made up of only 20 tracks. The purpose of this mix (and AC seven's other mixes for that matter) is for listeners to discover new groups or tracks and then support the artists by buying their releases. I just found out that Katherine Heigl is 27 years old today. I remember seeing her in the movie "Bride of Chucky" (she looked like a doll :P ) a couple of years ago. Right now you can see her as "Izzie" in the hit tv-series "Grey's Anatomy" alongside Sandra Oh and Ellen Pompeo. X-Trance vol.2 compilation / The 33rd Annual American Music Awards

It's been a while since I updated the music section of this blog. If you into eurodance/trance music and haven't bought or downloaded anything in a few months I can recommend you to check out the new compilation X-Trance vol.2 from More Music . This double-CD is made up of 40 tracks (some of them a few months old and some are newer) and cover most of today's dance genres incl dance, euro dance, trance and techno. The album features new songs from the likes of Deep Spirit, Karma, Akira, Pulsedriver, Magic D plus my favourite on this CD - the excellent tune "Secret of Love" by Barcera. A couple of days ago I wrote a mini-review about two game-based movies. In about three weeks another movie based on a game is released. This time the classic pc game "Doom".According to the trailer the movie uses the first-person view a lot and by doing that it almost looks like the game is running on a TV instead of you watching a movie.The plot is also very similar to the game one. A reseach base on Mars sends out a distress call and a group of heavily armed Space Marines is sent out to investigate.Movies based on games are usually bad movies (An exception in my opion is the Resident Evil movies - see the blog entry from Sunday) and this movie will most likely get bad reviews from critics. One good thing though, it's R-Rated and that means that the scenes with violence (probably many when we talk about doom) won't be cut.The movie is directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak (Species & Thirteen Days ) and premieres in the US 10.21.05.
