We first saw Twinkle as a singer on saregamapa , she wasnt a bad singer at all and that is why stuck in there for quite some time & was one of the most popular contestants in the history of the show and that is exactly why she was picked up by zee for a tv show Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan. Twinkle Twinkle is no longer a little star anymore , she has hit it big on the tube & i must add is one of the better actresses on tv we have. DJ Megha ..better known for us as model Megha Kawale cut out an album & a music video to go along with it. Her choice of song for the music video is one of my favorite tracks , a song which we dont just like to hear but loved to see it as well , who can forget the tantalizing Saira Banu's sizzling towel dance in Victoria 203 ??Megha had it easy , she herself is no less an eyecandy than anyone but also got her model friends to star along in the video - Dipanita Sharma, Nina Manuel, Jesse Randhawa, Fleur Xavier , but im sure megha will be the first to accept that the video aint upto the mark , it looks like any other music video shot in a night club with some flashy cuts , more style than substance , a simpler idea would've been to do the number just like the original , pretty sure these lovely ladies doing the saira banu act would've pushed up the trp's.Thoda Sa Thehro

MTV Roadies 5.0 Audition at Kolkata ( Calcutta ) , Much better than the chandigarh auditions , two people got selected from here Ayaz & Ankita , Ayaz seems like Rishabh from last year's roadies, does seem like he will go a long way. I goofed up on her name last time , mainly because i mixed up her name with Sakshi Tanwar , parvati the bahu from Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki. Miss India 1971 runner up prema narayan has easily done over a 100 movies , one might've seen her in a movie just for a few seconds or so but prema did leave an impression. One of the last vamps in bollywood as that character has been eliminated totally. We've had some really amazing vamps in bollywood helen , bindu , kalpana iyer, padma khanna & ofcourse Prema Narayan. The westernized vamp showing ample leg & cleavage dancing at a night club with firang extras or the moll smoking a long cigarette in the villans den .. prema did it all with ease. And she was also not a bad when it came to acting as we have seen in Umrao Jaan & various other films where she did put in a decent performance. This lesser known marathi mulgi started off her career as a child actress migrating to the more westernized roles that came her way in the 80's . I must concede sarika's exquisite face & porcelain complexion made me her fan ever since i saw her & then saw her in quite a bit of those 80's b-movies and smaller movies where she was paired with another child star sachin. She has made a comeback of sorts recently specially this year when two performances of her should be recognized Parzania & Bheja Fry , specially in Parzania where she was absolutely spectacular , But ofcourse there will be no awards or even nominations her way for it in a category deserving of the role. Kranti makes it as one of my favorite movies and is perhaps manoj kumar's best work till date. Bollywood's patriotic movies based in times gone by usually use a lot of sexual references , kranti is ofcourse a prime example of that but in recent times as well we've had Kamal Hassan's Hey Ram & more recently Aamir Khan's Mangal Pandey going down the same road. Perhaps With the exception of Zeenat Aman, Parveen Babi is simply put the sexiest actress on the screen ever , one just cant get her charged up nightclub numbers out of ones head.
