Roadies 5.0 Audition - Jaipur

First time auditions in the pink city and yes pretty boring crowd, there was just one guy who got selected - Ashutosh .The chicks were pretty boring , although munaza did catch my eye just like raghu & she did have an outside change for the show.Another chick on the show was Sonam , who proved that there are just a lot of sonams in the country , which actually means nothing in any context here :PHopefully mumbai auditions will be more interesting than this one.Check out munaza though, love that nose ring. Ranjeeta Kaur or Ranjeeta as she is more fondly known will be making a comeback soon with Zindagi Tere Naam along with Mithun with whom she mustve a dozen odd films , it was the 'hit pair' of the late 70's & early 80's . Granted ranjeeta was never the a-lister but she does have a movie opposite amitabh bachhan in satte pe satta ( the duplicate greeneyed babu was her hero) but ranjeeta was always quite an eyeful as we can see here Mithun & Ranjeeta in Khwaab

This is one charming lady , Yogita Bali who happens to be Mithun Chakravarty's wife was also briefly married to the late great singer kishore kumar. Yogita Bali also happens to be the nice of actress Geeta Bali who was married to actor Shammi Kapoor briefly till tragedy stuck in 1965 when she left for heavenly abode at the tender age of 36.Yogeeta is another 80's favourite of mine , she has done a lot of movies in 70's & 80's frequently being cast as either gaaon ki gori or the modern skirt wearing city girl, both roles which she carried off effortlessly. Yogita Bali made her debut in Parwana where Mr Amitabh Bacchan played a negative role (and the reference of the movie was also made in 2007 sleeper hit Johnny Gaddar) , One of my fav yogita bali movies is Biwi O Biwi which had sanjeev kumar in a double role ..oh yes Nagin too where she had a small role.The following caps are from shakti samata directed Khwaab (1980)

Saw an extremely long haired women on one of the regional channels , Maa TV i belive it is tamil where a woman who could easily win a part if there ever was a movie on indian Rapunzel.Walt Disney is comming up with an animated movie on Rapunzel early next year and apparently this will look like the old school animation of disney rather than like the never cgi movies that come out.PS: Anyone knows her name?

Roadies wasnt really able to get anyone good from the two previous auditions , no one seemed interesting enough , specially the chicks they were BORING and it seemed like that this could just be the death of roadies , but Delhi proved me wrong (and im sure lot of people agree with me there) 5 roadies got picked up & all are very interesting , and the chicks ... totally amazing !! sonel singh (20), vikrant rathore (26) , ankita sehgal (22) anmol singh (19) , shambhavi sharma (18)Lets start off with shambhavi , typical collegiate cute young girlfriend type who looks like she hasnt a bad bone in her body , she danced hot though so looks pretty free spirited Next up is Anmol Singh , she seemed very sweet & down to earth , not sure if she has some edge to her , hopefully she doesnt turn up to be another 'oorja' who actually tried for the auditions here again. Third roadie from the city is Vikrant who is a DJ , and looks to be one slimy customer , absolutely what the show needed at...

If there as anyone who beauty can be mentioned in the same breath as Aishwarya Rai , it is none other than Diya Mirza , For me she is no less than Aishwarya Rai when i comes to indian beauty, but ofcourse diya is half german. Among the half indian beauties viz Lisa Ray (Half Polish), Katrina Kaif (Half British), Diya might be the least successfull out of the lot (and im hoping lisa would read this & stop doing those stupid abcd movies & bgraders in the usa, there is still hope left) , Diya sadly made some bad movie choices .. it now seems she doesnt have anything good on her plate , last i saw her was kissing manoj bajpai in dus kahaniya , jeez that mustve taken a ton of breath mint ahem..anyway ..this are from the saregamapa show an year or so back. Her choice of song for the music video is one of my favorite tracks , a song which we dont just like to hear but loved to see it as well , who can forget the tantalizing Saira Banu's sizzling towel dance in Victoria 203 ??Megha had it easy , she herself is no less an eyecandy than anyone but also got her model friends to star along in the video - Dipanita Sharma, Nina Manuel, Jesse Randhawa, Fleur Xavier , but im sure megha will be the first to accept that the video aint upto the mark , it looks like any other music video shot in a night club with some flashy cuts , more style than substance , a simpler idea would've been to do the number just like the original , pretty sure these lovely ladies doing the saira banu act would've pushed up the trp's.Thoda Sa Thehro

MTV Roadies 5.0 Audition at Kolkata ( Calcutta ) , Much better than the chandigarh auditions , two people got selected from here Ayaz & Ankita , Ayaz seems like Rishabh from last year's roadies, does seem like he will go a long way. Ankita is probably the most confident roadie that we have seen yet, but doesnt seem like she will get along with anyone , probably will get booted out of the show pretty quickly as well.Disappointing news being the eyecandy eludes us once again, cant belive they couldnt get a single decent bong chick out of the lot.Roadies 5 Kolkata Auditions
