The Impact on Someone?s Life
2008-01-15 17:13:00 What’s the weirdest question you got from a stranger? For me, nothing would ever get weirder than this: “So, mayaman ka ba?” [So, are you rich? Are you made out of money?] When I heard that one, I knew something something was not right. The tone in his voice sounded like danger, the way he adjusted the rear ... Sitting on the Right Spot
2008-01-13 06:34:00 Doesn’t it feel strange when you can’t find anything to write about? When you feel like blabbing on just won’t make you feel any better or any different? Some friends have noticed that my words are often hieroglyphic. I even talk about one story but entirely relating it to a different experience I can associate it with. Sometimes a line may appear plain shallow, but it carries a manifold of contrasting emotions, it invokes deadened feelings and conceals a growing agitation or elation - if you take it into a positive light. One thing worth mentioning though is that, I rarely write when I can’t take THIS smile off my face. Do you want to know the most sacred feeling in the world? For me, it is contentment. Attempting to explain how it feels to be in that state wouldn’t be as meaningful as completely feeling its rawness within you and not letting anyone step in and ruin that moment. And the only person who can share it with you is someone who believes ... More About: Spot
A Pocketful Of Dreams
2008-01-11 11:34:00 A song I can absolutely relate to at this moment is something from Alanis Morisette. Hehe. That album is in my first cassette tape collection which I bought together with my then-bestfriend. I knew this song has been written for me to use in the future. Hehe! If you’re really good, tell me just ... More About: Dreams , Mind Games , Twisted Truths
Welcoming 2008
2008-01-01 16:40:00 Just because I’ve been wishing for the year 2007 to be over, it doesn’t mean that I want to leave the bad memories I had that year. Truthfully, I had less compared to the year before that. Haha. I wouldn’t say that 2007 never became good to me because it has given me tons of ... More About: Twisted Truths , 2008
Christmas 2007
2007-12-29 04:30:00 Celebrating Christmas with the family has always been great. Well, even though this is the first Christmas where my Grandma is no longer physically present to share this special day with us, I know she’s there watching over us no matter where she may be. I wonder why there are no family pictures ...
From Me, To You ;)
2007-12-24 07:07:00 So you really don’t believe that I am NOT born a singer, huh?! LOL! Due to an increased demand for me to record myself singing - I’ll give you something to feast on this Christmas! I had a good time recording these stuff. I was laughing the whole time I was doing a rerun. ...
To Shop or Not to Shop? *updated*
2007-12-21 06:57:00 Contrary to what you read about women in magazines, the word “shopping” doesn’t really excite me. I don’t know about you, but I have never really felt relaxed when shopping especially during the holiday season when every place is crowded. Haha! Unlike my sister, I really can’t stand roaming around the malls for hours bouncing from one shop to another, trying out clothes and waiting in line for a new stock. I only shop when necessary and oftentimes, I just order stuff online! LOL! I’m actually scrimpy with my own needs. But when I’m with my nephews and they want me to get them something, sometimes I don’t think twice. But if it’s for myself, I’d probably think it over a hundred times. It’s either my mind is debating on whether it is worth my money or I am not sure if I have enough money to buy what I REALLY want. I could be picky. If I buy something for myself, it means I really want it and I can’t wait for someo... More About: Shop
Drained of Color
2007-12-19 12:42:00 Anything fancy might catch an eye and turn a few heads around Yet anyone who settles for simplicity is a fool who knows That even though you’re out of it, you’re still complete. Pre-holiday Shindig
2007-12-16 13:36:00 2 hours of sleep in 2 straight days left me with you know what. Well, there really isn’t anything new - disphonia (voice loss), runny nose, gastric pain, migraine, etc. I know it’s not the wisest way to live but it is also important to note that no matter how badly you went down with ... The Noob Speaks: It’s Sooo ON!
2007-12-12 10:19:00 The doorbell rings, my heart starts to thump like crazy - excited to see the man behind that door. I turn the knob, a wry smile appears on my face as he extends his hand. My eyes fix on what is sticking out behind the cardboard that he holds underneath a piece of paper and my heart is starting to sink at the sight of it. I sign the receipt and snatch away the package from him before he can speak. Tear open. Pop in the CD. Anxiety is escalating as I whisper the words, “Don’t you let me down, Kurt.” Here’s what I got: It’s weird, I don’t feel crappy at all after seeing the results of my first 2 rolls. Now I know my Holga sCFN loves me. Want MORE? Wait until I get the UNCROPPED version. Haha Copyright © 2007 Scribesmeister v3 (Chaotic Verses). This Feed is for personal non-commercial use only. The Lighter Side Of Life
2007-12-11 08:53:00 The first part of our Northern Luzon expedition was a huge success. Out of all my friends that I invited to join, only 3 of them showed up! It wasn’t so bad, you know. I actually expected that only Ghi, my best friend would surely tag along with me because I know her too well that when she says yes, she’d travel for miles just to get her ass right here. She may not make it on the dot most of the time, but at least she never let me down. And yes, just for this trip and just because I said we could meet up with her boyfriend (LOL), she obliged and endured a 400km stretch on her butt. December 8, Saturday I picked her up from the Kamuning MRT station at 9 am and took her to my place to eat some breakfast before going boarding another bus to Pampanga to meet Jed. But before that, we had to wait for Joan to arrive first. Initially, we’re already determined to leave her if we weren’t able to contact her but she said she’d arrive late because something came up... More About: Life , Side , Lighter

2007-11-14 04:35:00 I know, this is two days overdue but who could blame me? We had just recovered 37 out of almost 200 pictures from the screwed-up memory card. Late Night Update
2007-11-10 16:26:00 [21:54] My brother’s eyes widened as he opened the door for me then he gave me that wow-you-are-home-early look and said nothing. My Hopefully-Attainable Wish List
2007-11-07 05:38:00 This is probably my second or third time to say that I have never made a wish list, ever (at least, not publicly announced) - and this would be the first time I would let everyone know - because something tells me that most of you are willing to share your blessings with me. Harhar. Or maybe, it’s just wishful thinking. Hidden desires are now out in the open… *wink* (not in particular order) One year subscription of Inquirer newspaper/Artist’s Magazine When I was still in college, we were advised, somewhat required, to read a newspaper everyday - to equip ourselves with “knowledge”during class recitation. There was this one class I attended where the professor would ask for a summarized account of the latest news off the papers every meeting - if nothing springs up from your head, you are dead. Well, I lost that habit once I graduated - and I want to make it a part of my life again (since I don’t watch much TV). The only time I get to grab a r... More About: List , Atta
