My Hopefully-Attainable Wish List
2007-11-07 05:38:00
This is probably my second or third time to say that I have never made a wish list, ever (at least, not publicly announced) - and this would be the first time I would let everyone know - because something tells me that most of you are willing to share your blessings with me. Harhar. Or maybe, it’s just wishful thinking. Hidden desires are now out in the open… *wink* (not in particular order) One year subscription of Inquirer newspaper/Artist’s Magazine When I was still in college, we were advised, somewhat required, to read a newspaper everyday - to equip ourselves with “knowledge”during class recitation. There was this one class I attended where the professor would ask for a summarized account of the latest news off the papers every meeting - if nothing springs up from your head, you are dead. Well, I lost that habit once I graduated - and I want to make it a part of my life again (since I don’t watch much TV). The only time I get to grab a r...

Do You Know Better?
2007-11-05 05:31:00
This video was taken during Jimmy Kimmel’s interview with Josh Hartnett on ABC - inquiring about the places where his upcoming movie was filmed. It just happened that Philippines, our country, became the highlight of it all. Now I want to get a reaction from you - if there’s anything at all. Haha.Either I see ...

Spending More Quality Time With Books
2007-11-01 13:12:00
It’s the first day of my vacation and what am I doing? I am blogging when I should be reading! I saved the blog entry that I finished composing last night (before I watched a movie) in my laptop and had forgotten to transfer it to my thumb drive. Does that confuse you? Maybe you ...

Mission: Hunt For Free-WiFi Hotspots in the Philippines
2007-10-24 10:56:00
In search for hotspots in the Philippines , I ended up compiling everything I have gathered from the net (thank you, my sources!), adding up some personal favorites and asking some geeky friends for suggestions and here’s my list (sorry, it’s not that organized. I’ve been having this terrible headache since last night): Hotspots in the Metro Tip ...

The Last Of Early Morning Musings
2007-10-23 04:21:00
Simple pleasures - I am deprived of it. Just like waking up early in the morning on a rainy day, the best time to be curled up longer in bed and enjoy snoozing, to run towards my nephew who is already crying like a hungry hyena and fix some breakfast. Well, I don’t ...

The Story Behind “My Precious”
2007-10-20 04:25:00
See this ring? This has been with me for years now. This ring – and the others that I have lost somewhere - is the only jewelry I have always loved on me. Necklaces leave a trail of skin blotches around my neck; bracelets easily slip down wrists; earrings make my ears swell of irritation. Well, I can tolerate jewelries dangling on my body for a while – but for long periods of time? Honestly, you can just kill me. Haha. I would rather keep the jewelry gifts than wear and lose it. If my ex accidentally got to read this, don’t worry YOUR gifts are in my safety box. So what I am saying is, a perfectly-fitted ring would be your best bet if you plan on giving me some bling bling. Haha! Unfortunately, this one didn’t come from him. This is where the story of this ring enters. It’s not even from someone special, but from some guy I only met once. Oh, believe me. If this was given to me personally, I definitely would have refused to accept it. But he just slipped it inside my bag a...

Sadness is An Enemy
2007-10-16 12:14:00
“…expect upsetting news from afar. The Bewitching Hour
2007-10-15 16:49:00
How many of you have watched the Exorcism of Emily Rose, the life story of a German Catholic Anneliese Michel? Well, most parts of it are more interesting than terrifying - especially the court trial scenes and dialogues. Just like most internal conflicts, it’s always your head that is always battling with your heart and choosing which to follow. Anyway, that is not where I am getting at. Listen. If you could still remember, the witching hour was briefly discussed in that film - mainly the significance of waking up at 3 in the morning and what it symbolizes. It could mean a lot of things, really. In Catholic belief, it’s the hour when the demons mock the Holy Trinity for it is the opposite of the crucifixion of Christ which happened at 3 in th afternoon. While for the paranormal work, as it has been said, psychic phenomena tends to peak at this hour. For psychic mediums, it could mean that you are picking up an information from another source (e.g. spirit or person). Whe...

Still In A Daze
2007-10-14 20:21:00
Things didn’t go the way it was SUPPOSED to this day, but everybody had fun - and come on, who could complain? My nephew’s christening became a house blessing celebration and that wasn’t such a bad thing, was it? With the unexpected turn of events, something good must come out of it. Even with the slight hangover I had from last Saturday’s night out with my brothers, I was forced to get up early in the morning, do some errands and… ..wipe out everything that’s in my fridge which was probably the best part of the day. Haha. Look! There are some bottles of wine, beer and soda; cake, pasta, etc.. it sure gave a dizzying effect. Now I can’t sleep with my throbbing head and my bloated tummy.;) Well, I don’t want to talk about anything that happened in between - I am just relieved it was a happy ending. See how happy Terence is? How could your worries not melt away with that smile? Hmm, I think I would be able to sleep after all. Co...
Save Yourself from a Bad Relationship
2007-10-11 13:17:00
Keeping your feelings inside and your mouth shut so you can spare your partner from headache and never-ending arguments, isn’t healthy. Google AdSense Now Meshes With YouTube

Experimenting With Band-Audience Relationship Through Free Music

Necessary Makeover

An Attempt To Cheer Myself Up
2007-09-27 09:33:00
Just because I’m kind of feeling low today, which is a total reverse effect of yesterday’s irrepressible cheerfulness, I resorted to Compliment Bot - an online auto-machine which spits random touchy-feely compliments when you can’t dish out anything from humans. And my first compliment was: And guess what? I was currently eating chocolate-filled ...

More Than Just Internet Addiction
2007-09-18 09:31:00
Sometime in year 2005, China has taken a move to shake off internet addiction from an estimate number of 2.5 million net addicts (which has now probably escalated) and some patients willingly submitted themselves for treatment while others still have to be pulled in by their worried parents. Various examination/rehabilitation procedures would be implemented such as ...

Mad About Babies
2007-09-15 07:05:00
I was supposed to write about another health issue but I figured that I could stop ranting for a day about how sick my life could get sometimes and be excited about my sister having another baby boy. I really am excited and at the same time worried that my world might get even crazier now that I’d be hanging out with three boys. Oh, I don’t know if I had told you about this one time when I had to take care of an 11-month-old baby and a 5-year-old kid (my nephews) while my sister was at Fitness First. While she was sweating it out in the gym and I was sweating it out, too, by running after her kids. You wonder, with my physique, how I manage to carry with one hand and feed a baby by clipping his bottle of milk between my chin and throat to hold it in place (yes, it was stupid not to bring a stroller). You think my other hand was free? Of course not. I was holding a tower of dripping ice cream cone which Ethan, who kept going around in the mall, ordered. I couldn’t ...

When Will Restlessness Leave Me?
2007-09-14 06:23:00
It’s either my insomnia is slowly wearing off or I never really had persistent insomnia (only temporary) - I simply couldn’t sleep when thoughts are overflowing, when anxiety strikes and when there’s something I have to do and yet I am physically unable to. Lately, days have been dragging me into a normal condition once again ...
