Is the troop surge needed?
2007-02-07 16:22:03 Is the troop surge really needed? No its time to bring our people home. It will never be better than it is now in Iraq. We can not win this. The left was elected by the people because they wanted a change. The right wing really doesn't care what the majority of the people wanted and voted for. More About: Need , Surge , Urge
Saddam Executed!
2006-12-31 03:57:02 Saddam has been executed, I'm sure it won't make a bit of difference. There are many in the country who seem to be happy with his death, but I don't think it will stop any of the fighting. Saddam was guilty of gassing his own people. What about the United States we gassed our own soldiers in Vietnam. There were plenty of soldiers that came back poisoned. More About: Cute , Saddam
Harry Reid Warns Of Investigations
2006-12-08 09:45:01 Senator Harry Reid warns of investigations of the Bush administration. He has said that there has been no checks and balances since 2001 when Bush took office. Senator Reid will serving as Senate majority leader when the new Congress starts in January. I think we need to have a return of our freedoms. Stop the spying on our own people. No more wire tapping without warrants. Raise the minimum wage. And reduce our dependence on oil. We need to stop sending money to Iraq also. A lot of the money that is sent and should goto the Iraqi police and government is missing. Very big sums of money gone. Its ending up in the hands of the very people fighting and making bombs. Some of the weapons that are used against our troops, comes from money George Bush sent to Iraq. The Democrats need to work to impeach Bush also, he has given multiple reasons that I think would warrant impeachment. If the Democrats can deliver on the promises made this election, they can easily take the White House in 08. More About: War , Vest , Investigation
Donald Rumsfeld Quits After Election
2006-12-08 09:45:01 Well the Democrats took both the House and Senate. Rumsfeld steps down the day after. So last week when Bush said he wasn't was a big lie. He said he did it to cover up that he was. Well now he admits being a liar. Bush has been one lie right after another. What if Republicans would of stayed in control then would he of stepped down? This is a good thing as the new replacement is more on sustainment than liberty. He has to be approved by the Democrats though and this should be fun. Bush is not going to have people rolling over and doing what he says now, so this should be fun. Democrats should now put together a plan for Iraq, its one thing to preach change but lets get it moving. People are so tired of Iraq and things need to change. So many people are dieing for no reason right now. More About: Election , Donald , After , Donald Rumsfeld , Quit
Rumsfeld stepping down
2006-12-08 09:45:01 Wow what a day for the Left! Now Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld will be stepping down. CIA chief Robert Gates to take his place. Its funny that Bush finally did this. Most people realized this needed done long ago. Rumsfeld is the cause of a lot of the problems in Iraq. I don't think anyone could of done a worse job. Democrats taking power and now one of the big losers are gone. If we could just get rid of Bush now too. More About: Down , Step , Ping

Today is a great day for the left. Its funny to hear the right wingers crying on the radio. Its so funny they don't even understand how they lost. Now its 50 for democrats in the senate and 49 for Republicans. More About: Democrats , Demo , Democrat , Rats

Voting Day
2006-12-08 09:45:01 Today is like the super bowl to me. I love election day. Its like game day after months of practice. I really think that the Democrats will be taking the house. The senate will probably go to the Republicans though. In Missouri I think that the Stem Cell amendment will go through also. Get out there and vote everyone. Let the battle begin. One thing I'm really hoping is to see a Democratic takeover and then impeachment of Bush! More About: Voting
Tomorrow is election day
2006-12-08 09:45:01 I am urging everyone to go out and vote tomorrow. We need a great turnout. It looks like the Left is going to take the house. It looks a little closer for the Senate. It appears Kerry's statements didn't change anything really. A lot is going to come down to voter turnout so if you can take a lefty to the poll with you do it. John Kerry Apologizes
2006-12-08 09:45:01 John Kerry apologized for his comments yesterday. Senator Kerry says it was a botched joke about President George W. Bush. His office released his prepared remarks, which indicated he meant to add the punchline: "Just ask President Bush." I don't see as much damage here as everyone thinks. Now the thing John Kerry had said was that if you don't do good in school you get stuck in Iraq. Well this is sort of true but not Iraq, just the military in general. I was going to join the military, luckily I was smart and changed my mind in time. But when I took my written test I scored well and the recruiters were amazed at the high score. But about 3/4 of the people taking the test didn't even pass. And this was just the general education stuff. The same way with the Recruiters at school, they went after the very poor and the ones not likely to graduate. The rest of us that were higher ranked in the class never even had a recruiter try to talk to us. This is not anything new. But Ke... More About: John Kerry , John , Apologize , Polo
John Kerry Fouls Up
2006-12-08 09:45:01 Well John Kerr y made some comments that hurt the left this week. He was trying to bash Bush and may have offended the troops. I don't think he did it on purpose though. What person would commit political career suicide like that on purpose. He needs to address this quickly as the Republicans are going to run with this. Its sad that they think its ok for them to have sex with underage boys, and cover it up, but the left can't even make a tiny mistake. Hey with John Kerry's mistake just some peoples feelings got hurt, with Bush's mistake thousands upon thousands of deaths happened.
Sean Hannity Is An Idiot
2006-12-08 09:45:01 Well today on Hannity 's radio show he has decided that its going to destroy our children if we allow horror movies to be in theaters. He has decided that because he doesn't like the movies that no one should be allowed to see them. He has also said if you seen Saw III that you are sadistic and have things wrong with you and you belong in prison. Just like the Republicans they only want you to see and hear what they want you too. Its a sad day when any American tries to take our freedom away. Its sad that the RightWings religious beliefs have to be forced on the rest of America. Lets play like Hannity and boycott all his advertisers starting with his main one Tempur-Pedic. Anytime there is anything that he doesn't like he makes up boycotts to force his beliefs on the whole world. More About: Idiot , Sean , Sean Hannity
United States Blamed For Attack On School
2006-12-08 09:45:01 Islamic leaders as well as Al-Qaida militants blamed the U.S. for an airstrike Monday on a religious school in Pakistan. The school known as "Madrasah". Both groups are calling for nationwide protests to condemn the U.S. for smashing the school and killing those inside. Both students and teachers died. The U.S. is saying it was a front for terrorists and no children were inside. I don't believe that for a minute. (For one some of the Terrorist fighters are children). Why would I choose to believe U.S. intelligence when they are the ones who said Iraq had WMD's. Now either they lied or got it wrong. So why now do they swear they get everything right? Maybe its cause they lied in the beginning, and they know that they have good intelligence. More About: United States , School , United , State , States
Rush Limbaugh bashes Michael J Fox with Stem Cell Ad
2006-12-08 09:45:01 Michael J. Fox appeared in ads in support of Democrats and the Stem Cell Amendment 2 in Missouri. He is in favor of stem cell research. Fox has Parkinson's disease and hopes for a cure with stem cell research. Rush Limbaugh accused Fox of exploiting his disease. How outrageous! How does one exploit their disease. He wants to live just like all the other people in the world. And he should have the right to let people know whats going on more than anyone. When you see a sick person saying this is what they need, I believe them more than a healthy politician any day. Rush Limbaugh is the last person to be commenting on anything relating to taking medicine. If Republicans think stem cell research is bad then they should allow it and just not use any of the cures or advancements that is made. If its against their religion they can opt for no treatment. But for those of us that want cures and to live let them pick. Its funny that people have to die so that Rightwingers can force their r... More About: With , Ashes , Michael , Stem Cell
Senator Barack Obama Might Run For President
2006-12-08 09:45:01 So will Barack Obama be running for President or not? Well he says he will be making a decission on whether he will run after the congressional elections. I don't think that he will do well against the line of Democrats running. But hey I could be mistaken. I'm not sure whether he will run or not. Being that he is from Illinois and thats my state I hope so. More About: Bama
Senator Barack Obama Of Illinois Considering Presidential Ru
2006-12-08 09:45:01 Senator Barack Obama of Illinois , my home state by the way, says he will be seeking the Democratic nomination for the presidential election. John Murtha or Steny Hoyer for majority leader
2006-12-08 09:45:01 I'm going with Murtha for majority leader. I pick him just because of his strong stance on troop withdrawal . Nancy Pelosi, is endorsing John Murtha for the position. Murtha does have scandals in his background so he is probably not the best for the position, even though hes my pick. On Thursday, the House Democratic Caucus is scheduled to vote on who should be its new Major ity Leader. The leading contenders are Murtha and Steny Hoyer of Maryland, the current minority whip. What the Right Wing does not get.
2006-12-08 09:45:01 What I hear over and over is that certain freedoms must be given up to fight terror. Losing any amount of freedom is far worse than terrorism. Our country was built on these values and freedoms, and to take any right away from the American people is illegal and unconstitutional. The terrorist hate us for our way of life. So to combat them we take away freedoms from our own people. So the terrorist have won, their goal was to take away our freedoms, and they have did that. They want us to be more like them, where freedom of choice is gone. So if the Right Wing is right, in order to defeat these terrorist we need to give up our right to privacy, warantless search, and freedom of speech. More About: What , Hat
Democrat Calling For Draft
2006-12-08 09:45:01 Rep. Charles Rangel, D-N.Y., said Sunday he sees his idea as a way to deter politicians from launching wars and to bolster U.S. troop levels insufficient to cover potential future action in Iran, North Korea and Iraq. His thinking here is that the President and Republican war mongers, would not push for war with such flimsy evidence if it was possible that their children and members from their own community would have a chance to go and die for no reason. This is just a very bad idea in my mind. We need to just come home. Not push more troops over there to die for no reason. If we are coming home, come home. If we are going to fight some more then send troops. Not we're coming home but we are going to send more troops. McCain is one wanting more troops there. McCain is nothing but a flip flopper anymore. You can't tell his position on anything. He just changed his life long stand on abortion, and went the whole other way. Thats how republicans are planning on winning next time... Senator Evan Bayh may run for president.
2006-12-08 09:45:01 Senator from Indiana said Sunday that he would start an exploratory committee to see if he will be running for president. "We need someone who can deal with the dysfunction here in this city so that our government begins to empower our people to fulfill their potential," he told ABC's "This Week." It looks like he will make a final decision next week. A former secretary of state and two-term governor of Indiana, he was elected in 1998 and reelected in 2004 to the same Senate seat once held by his father, Birch Bayh. Campaign finance records show his Senate committee with a balance of more than $10 million, which could be transferred to a presidential election campaign committee. Army Times is going to be calling for Rumsfeld to get fired.
2006-11-06 23:06:02 This hits at just the right time. Everyone is losing their support for the war. No one likes Rumsfeld or his actions. Top neoconservative Richard Perle, who chaired a committee of Pentagon policy advisers for the Bush administration, has said that if he had it to do again, he would of not supported Iraq. "The time has come, Mr President, to face the hard bruising truth," said an editorial appearing in the November 13 issues of the weekly Military Time s group of newspapers, which include the Army Times , Navy Times, Air Force Times and Marine Corps Times. "Donald Rumsfeld must go. Rumsfeld has lost credibility with the uniformed leadership, with the troops, with Congress and with the public at large. His strategy has failed, and his ability to lead is compromised. "And although the blame for our failures in Iraq rests with the secretary, it will be the troops who bear its brunt." Iran launches three new missles
2006-11-03 22:48:01 Iran launched three new missiles in the Gulf. Iran has said that they are sending a message that the U.S. should stop maneuvers that are going on in the region. The missiles are a new class of sea missiles. Iran is really not that afraid of the U.S. it seems. To me Iran was a bigger threat than Iraq any day. Iran actually has weapons and could be dangerous. Iraq never had these things. Iran poses a threat on other countries in the region. Iraq never was. Why then are we killing everyone in Iraq. More About: Iran , Miss , Launch , Three

Looking More And More Like Jerry Weller Did A 16 Year Old
2006-10-19 22:09:01 Well its looking more and more like Jerry Weller Republican from Illinois will be next in the Foley scandal. When will Illinois learn? Illinois is where I live. Illinois should give up on Republicans after George Ryan just got wentenced to 6 1/2 years, and now this. It looks like Jerry Weller did a 16 year old female page. I think its time for him to resign and goto alcohol rehab, as thats what most politicians seem to do when they get caught -- blame it on the booze! It would be better for this to hit in 2 weeks closer to the election. The closer to the election the worse damage it will do. And if others knew about this like they did Foley, how are they going to cover up their actions. Shame on the Republicans. More About: Elle , King , More , Like

The Edelman Disaster
2006-10-19 04:06:01 What makes this a disaster for Edelman, is that two of its own executives have broken the trust of bloggers and their readers, for a very long time. They betrayed the people for profits. Now this hurts the companies future of being trusted. A lot of readers feel betrayed because Edelman constructed a huge blogging buzz campaign for Wal-Mart and tried to pass it off as the real thing. More About: Disaster , Aster

Republican Rep. Curt Weldon Raided By FBI
2006-10-17 16:00:01 Republican Rep. Curt Weldon raided him, his daughter, and a close friend. The FBI searched six sites in the Philadelphia and Jacksonville area. Federal investigators are looking into whether Weldon used his influence to help Solutions North America secure lobbying contracts worth $1 million from foreign clients. The FBI also searched two Jacksonville-area properties of Itera International Energy Corp., including its headquarters. More corruption from the Republicans. This is great I hope their corruption keeps coming and coming all the way to the elections.
