I think this is a superb idea, since I see no reason for our innocent children to be inhaling deadly smoke into their lungs. But isn't it defeating the entire purpose of protecting the child's health if an officer cannot ticket the offending parties without first citing them for an unrelated driving offense? What about child abuse from the secondhand smoke? isn't THAT a serious enough reason?! Lesson from me to any United States lawmakers who may be reading these words upon this little blog of mine: Recognize the photo that you see here above? it's called a metal detector. That's spelled m-e-t-a-l d-e-t-e-c-t-o-r. That's right. This is just like the one that had been already installed in Success Tech Academy that wasn't being used there too often. Not only should you be passing a law that makes it mandatory for every single school to install these detectors at every entrance/exit, but once they ARE installed there, they should be utilized daily. Manhunt On for Shooter After Two Students Shot at Delaware State University

I wonder if the campus had metal detectors? Were there security guards stationed at the doors to the school? SIGH...and yet another example of why we need to change our Second Amendment to exclude lethal weaponry and only allow less than lethal instead. At least THIS time University officials informed students about the shooting with phone calls, a notice posted on the campus web site and notifications in each dormitory. In MY opinion, this case is not black and white, it's gray, my readers and therein lies the heart of the problem. Where was this school's classes on racial tolerance? From what I have read, they have done nothing to attempt to soothe the pot of boiling racial tension that culminated in the beating of Justin Barker. In no way am I justifying the Jena Six's appalling behavior. In fact, I think they SHOULD serve some time in a juvenile detention facility as well as be made to attend anger management and racial tolerance classes. But jailed for attempted murder? uh-uh. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me when I first read this headline here in the net. Arrested for not watering her own personal lawn?!!! I would think that the arresting police officer would be feeling rather silly. The last time I checked we were living in the "Land of the Free." What does this statement MEAN? I am not entirely certain. Does it mean that we must water our private property lawns or be subject to arrest by a state employee? I am sorry, but this is confusing to me as a person and to me as an American citizen, who is supposedly "free." Ok now this is utterly preposterous. What's next? every single student must wear a white uniform to school? Perhaps they must not dye their hair any other color but blonde and wear blue contact lenses.What is going ON in this school??!!! Haven't they ever heard of the words "loyalty" and "patriotism?"It seems to me that by disallowing the students to wear their respective countries' flags upon their clothing, they are stealing something extremely precious from their students personalities - their sense of pride in their roots via their country of birth. The US Congress recently proposed increasing the reward for his capture from 25 million dollars to 50 million but Bush rarely talks of capturing the Al-Qaeda chief. Why doesn't he? well...he is much too busy talking about his unjust war in Iraq, as well as instructing his private secretary to send out condolence cards to the grieving, that's why. I've been reading the comments on this article's website and it seems that there is talk that the man in the video is not Bin Laden . My questions are, "Why would the United States government and their law enforcement analysis experts say that he IS Bin Laden, when he wasn't Bin Laden? In what way would that serve to help us? "This was a difficult decision," Sheriff Joe Arpaio said. "I am certain Sergeant Lovejoy has suffered greatly from leaving his dog in a sweltering car.
