How do you quiet down children who are just being children and are having a fabulous time playing in their pool in the summer? Do you stand over them with a whip and a chair every time the noise level gets too high for the next door neighbors? Mrs. Poczatek has already stated that she is doing her best to admonish her children to keep the noise level down. Other than shhhhing them to be quiet, the only other thing I can think of is for her to threaten them with the removal of their Happy Meals for dinner that they would be having that night. For the Kostakis' I have these suggestions for you: Invest in the most expensive earplugs available on the market and/or move to another location where you can be certain that no loud noises would be disturbing your peace and quiet. I am behind this idea of crushing cars caught in street racing, as I believe it will serve to deter further people being killed. Why? well...how many teens do YOU know would like to see their cars being crushed? How many teens do YOU know could afford to buy another car? How many teens do YOU know would have their cars be replaced by their parents once they've learned that their children have been involved in such a deadly game? Can anybody please try and help me understand why in the wide, wide world would it be necessary for nearly 400 people to be forced to remain in an airplane for 7 hours straight without being able to get off and walk around the terminal? There are conflicting accounts of how the people were treated, but the main focus is, why were they being held captive on that plane in the FIRST place?! 76-Year-Old Woman Jumps into Lake to Save A Dog

Unlike the people who are on staff at Martin Luther King, Jr. Hospital in Los Angeles, California, Jean Kautzman is a woman who has the heart and soul of a healer. What did she do? well, while in the midst of playing a game of golf, she suddenly noticed that a little pomeranian dog was struggling for her life in a nearby lake, so without letting too many precious moments go by, she took off her shoes and socks and jumped into the lake and rescued her. What I'd like to know is how was Lola the dog able to get so far into this lake without her family even realizing that she was gone? My readers, I am shaking my head back and forth in amazement, since I can't understand how this can happen in the first place. How DARE they abuse the name of Dr. Martin Luther King , Jr. in the manner that they did??!!! he stood for exactly the opposite in nature than these people did that day!!!!!!! How DARE they claim themselves to be healers while doing nothing while this woman dies on the floor of their ER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just a moment...I have several questions of my own: 1) What did the parents/guardians of these young people think about this STAY program's intended trip? 2) Were the parents/guardians given a permission slip to sign outlining what this trip would be all about? If I were a parent or guardian and was presented with such a slip for me to sign, not only would my answer be a big, fat "NO WAY!" written across the entire page, but I would then immediately begin networking with as many of the other parents/guardians as I could and demand exactly what is happening now, which is a thorough investigation of this inappropriate incident. Yesterday I watched while Paris Hilton 's motorcade made its way from the courthouse to the facility where she would be psychologically evaluated. On its way it passed a carnival and I thought, "Exactly." Then I shut the tv and sat down and thought about it and you know something? this is much bigger than just about Paris Hilton, you guys. This is about changing our entire justice system to reflect what will happen once a person - ANY person - is convicted of a DUI in our country. This is so unacceptable to me. Do these parents WANT their beloved children to have free access to their guns? I honestly do not understand their reasoning. Google Street Map View Images Causing an Uproar

I am upset. VERY upset. This new street image technology that Googl e is using is way too invasive. I'm sure you've seen people on tv that have asked for their voices to be distorted and/or images blurred because they wish to keep their identities private for various safety reasons. Why then would we just sit back and say, "Fine - no problem" while allowing Google vans to violate us with their drive-by shootings??????!!!!!!! They could put many of us in danger by getting so up close and personal and I think we should do something to put a stop to this before the entire country is photographed!!!!!!! I for one am e-mailing my elected officials and stating how I feel about this issue. I love the aerial satellite map photography feature, but this new one is too close for comfort.
