BREAKING NEWS: Fred Thompson Running for President

Fmr. US Senator Fred Thompson (R-TN) and Law & Order Star has said he will make his official announcement for President over the July 4th Weekend. According to Advisors Thompson has already made millions so far for his Presidential Run. Also according to Thompson Advisors he is being backed by insiders from the past three Republican Administrations. Fred Thompson is considered by many the only Real Conservative Choice for President in 2008. A Recent Poll showed that Mitt Romney was not effected in any way by Thompson joining the race. McCain dropped 5-10 points and Giuliani dropped by 1-2. The rest went to 0 or closer to it. So it seems that McCain will suffer the most during Thompson's run, Romney will have a better shot and Giuliani will have to explain more on his social views. It wasn't too long ago when I got an email from a Soldier who was on his way to Iraq. He emailed me and told me of how thankful he was that I was doing what I was doing. He encouraged me to go on with my dream to pursue Politics and told me that I could achieve anything if I fought hard enough to do so. He said you really know how much you love something when you'd do anything to keep it. He said that he has witnessed that first hand. He said I've been over there in Iraq once before. This will be my second time going, and something that caught my attention while over there was the dedication that so many of my fellow comrades had while fighting. He said however when I came back from putting my life on the line over there, I never would have thought that I would come back to negative talking and slandering. Independents Quiet:Most of the Independent Candidates have become very quiet for some reason, not alot of Interviews, Campaigning, Blogging, or any of that stuff. OK First off sorry that I have not been able to post stuff on here as much as I should. I just got a new job being a Public Relations/Researcher for a local Political AM Radio Station here in my hometown. I enjoy it alot, and believe me you get to learn things even more. Doug Stanhope a famous comedian and Libertarian Presidential Candidate, has dropped out of the Race for President. Stanhope said he had troubles with the FEC because he could not campaign at paid gigs while also retaining a personal income from those shows. Stanhope will now continue with his career in comedy.

McManigal Calls Quits

Kent McManigal who was seeking both the Boston Tea Party and Libertarian Party Nomination for the 2008 Presidential Election has called it quits for both. McManigal stated on his myspace that after much thought he has chosen no longer to run. He hopes to instead use his Kent for Liberty towards something else other than a Campaign for President.McManigal also mentioned in his statement that he does not see America moving in the right direction and following by the Constitution. He said therefore he has withdrew his candidacy. McManigal has not endorsed anyone for President as of yet.

After The Republica n Party Presidential Debate Thursday Night I was never so disappointed but also surprised in all my life. I took many notes about the Debate and also wrote down some of my thoughts. First off I have to say, the Only Candidate I noticed that made eye contact not only with the person asking the question, but also with camera and the audience, was Jim Gilmore. Jim Gilmore in my opinion did the best job at interacting with us as though he were in our living rooms.John McCain never looked so scared and nervous in all my life, he was shaking and his voice was quiverry, up until about 9:00 McCain looked like he had seen a ghost. Now in opinion McCain when answering a question looked like he was reading a script, he stared at one spot the entire time and would mess up when answering almost like he was misreading the lines in the script. I have made some changes to the polls here at Politics One. Instead of having 20 people placed on each poll and the votes being split in all directions. I have chosen to only place four candidates on a poll at a time except for the Situation Poll.
