I had the honour of talking to him about his Independents Together Movement which he co-founded by Bob Hargis, also an Independent Candidate for President. Immigration:America was founded by immigrants. It can even be argued that the American Indians were the first immigrants to our country having come here from Asia, but too much of a good thing at one time is too much. We just can?t afford to continue to take in the large quantities of poor from the rest of the world as we have over the last decade. Does anyone give money to every poor person they see on the street? No, and neither should we by continuing to allow the current onslaught of illegal aliens that are invading our country. The borders must be properly controlled,the penalties for hiring illegal aliens must be enforced anda sensible system for guest workers must be developed. Ok Guys, I'm looking for more ways to upgrade the site here and thought of an idea. I was thinking of bringing the Situation Poll back which includes someone from every party. As for the Party Polls I thought about making each poll 1-2 weeks long and only placing three people from that party on the poll. And then switching out every 1-2 weeks. Fred Thompson Has Troubles with RNC Leaders

Fred Thompson who is being "drafted" for President by Conservative Voters who are tired of the current GOP Lead ers , may face difficulty in getting his Party's Nomination. According to the Conservative President 2008 Blog, Thompson has been looked down upon by Party Leaders for his "too conservative" stance on issues. Thompson may also loose any support he has from his draft supporters if he tries to win over Republican Party Leaders. Thompson has still not made a clear position on if he will run or not in 2008.

My Reflections & Feed back I am Receiving from the New Mexico LP Conventionby Christine Smith, Libertarian candidate for president:Just got back from the New Mexico Libertarian Party Convention, and it was great!Friday night, I was able to deliver a 20-minute speech as well as participate in the long candidate debate which gave me an excellent opportunity to address many issues. I love debates! Nelson said Hagel is the best Candidate for President on either Party, but said he wont win due to being labled the Anti-War Republican. Republican Presidential Candidate John Cox who was the first official candidate to announce his candidacy in March of 2006 is struggling to keep his campaign alive, or whats left of it. Cox who started out gaining some media attention for being labled the only real Conservative in the race has seen his Campaign fall to pieces in the last few weeks. Cox lost his National Campaign Coordinator Nathan Martin and about 4 State Coordinators. Martin said that Cox would not take his advice on hardly any issue and that Cox changed his stance on the War In Iraq after talking to what Martin called a "stranger."
