Old Soviet Playground?
2007-07-05 08:29:00 Hello,I was walking the other day with my Wife. We came around a corner and I stopped suddenly. I was amazed, For you see in front of me was this incredible building. I thought it was a home. I then realized that it was a playground. This playground was located between a 5 story building of Flats and a School. Nestled in the trees as cozy as could be. I ignored my thoughts for a week! Then this morning I decided to take pictures of the playground.I could not stop wondering about who made this playground? Why did they make this playground? Will they let me play in this playground? When I was a kid I would have loved this place!!! So today I played in the Old Soviet Playground !The years have decayed the structure, but the love is still there. You could feel the desires that went into the making of this place. The wants, The Sweat, The passion, The pain! Some one put their Soul into this tiny area of ground. The results were a playground that has withstood the abuse of time and man.I t... Moscow, Even the Rain washes the pain!
2007-07-03 16:06:00 Hello, I watched the rain today! The drops running down the window panes. The Sun playing tag with the clouds. The wind, dancing among the birch trees. I watched the rain today! The pain of a city flowed along the curbs. The tensions eased with every drop of water. The depression gurgled as it swirled down the drain. I watched the rain today!Even a city as big as Moscow can be healed by rain. The dirt, dust, soot, and debris, all seem to disappear when the rain falls. It is as if, God has renewed the city! When a rain shower is done and the sun comes out. The birds sing, their song with all their might. As if to thank Mother Nature for the new beginning.I watched the rain today!KyleComments More About: Pain , Rain
Putin and Bush, Eating High On The Hog! (Lobster)
2007-07-03 10:35:00 Hello,I wrote a very small article on this last weekend meeting between Putin and Bush . I said it was a good time of the year to have a BBQ. Boy, I was wrong, They had Lobster . They should have rethought that menu, Putin can have Lobster any time he feels like. Putin can have any food he wants! But in Russia they do not think of BBQ like Americans do. They could have at least had a clam bake on the beach!!!!link:http://kylekeeton.com/2007/ 06/putin-bush-to-share-thoughts-once-agai n.htmlPutin came all the way to America to eat Lobster!I also hope that since it is so close to the Fourth of July, that they shot bottle rockets and fire crackers. Putin and Bush could have bought bottle rockets and other fireworks. Then they could have worked out their differences with a good old fashion bottle rocket war. What better way to enjoy the Fourth of July!!!!Once again, I am really glad that Putin and Bush are such good Buddies!Kylecomments always welcome. Stormy Day In Russia!
2007-07-02 12:23:00 Hi,I was drinking my coffee again and thinking. I was thinking about my Dad. My Dad died when I was around 21 years old. I feel lucky that I had him that long. My wife's Dad died when she was 3 years old. So I feel very fortunate that my Dad was alive when I grew up.My Dad wanted to do something with his life. He wanted to join the Peace Corps. He wanted to start his own business. He wanted to see other countries. My Dad never talked much to me, but he would make statements. Like before he died, he said to me, : "I do not want to be on artificial life support, If I am ever hospitalized." That's is all he said no less no more. When my Dad died I remembered his words. They helped guide me on his last day on earth. The decisions I made at 21 years old, when he was dieing, was based on many of the statements that he said to me.Some of the statements that he said: He always wanted to have his own business. ( I did have my own business. Very successful! )My Dad wanted to travel the worl... More About: Russia , Stormy

The First Impression Of Moscow!
2007-06-29 10:01:00 Hello,Today while I was drinking my cup of coffee, I was thinking about the first time I saw Moscow .I had flown in with my Sweety(Svet) from America. The trip was long and I was very sick! I tried my best and acted like life was great. I remember seeing Moscow from the Jet. I remember going through the passport check area. I remember no one cared if I had luggage or not. No one cared what I had to declare. I had five large bags and a pet carrier with a little dog. I remember being overwhelmed with wannabe taxi drivers. I remember, The airport was huge. I remember a McDonald's on the main byway. I remember the most of all, The hi rise buildings that Moscow calls flats. I will never forget the hi rise after hi rise. I looked and looked for single family dwellings. None! I remember not much else.I was sick for two weeks, I could not get out of bed hardly. My sweety made me chicken noodle soup and nursed me back to health. I am not sure what illness I came down with, but I do remember ... More About: Impress , Impression
Putin @ Bush To Share thoughts Once Again!!
2007-06-29 09:18:00 Hello,Putin this Sunday is to go to the Bush family's oceanfront estate in Kennebunkport, Maine. There will not be a lot said about this meeting. This is an opportunity for the two most powerful men on earth to discuss issues that the media plays games with, like Missiles, Cold War, and Vodka! This is a good time of the year to BBQ in America. Potato salad, hot dogs, hamburgers, deviled eggs, coleslaw, baked beans, and Budweiser Beer!! I wish I could be there. This is one of those meetings that a saying of my Grand Ma fits. "If only you could be a fly on the wall, the things you would hear" She is right!http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/ nation/20070627-1251-bush-putin.htmlKylec omments always welcome. Beautiful Rainy Day!
2007-06-28 14:26:00 Hello,The thunder is Crashing and the Lightning is Flashing. Boza our dog is hiding under the bed. I am enjoying the cool air and the refreshing of the ozone. The air smells wonderful and fresh. The weather in Moscow is identical to the weather that I grew up with. It brings back many memories. Memories that were from a good childhood, My family was poor but I had all I could eat and never bored. I grew up on a farm most of my life. I can remember seeing the rain clouds rolling in, fast. At the last moment I would run for the barn and jump in the hay and play while the thunder rolled. Sometimes we had to go to the storm shelter or cellar and hide when tornadoes would be present.Life is good, my Gran Ma always said: "Just look for the cloud with the silver lining! Every thunder storm has one of those clouds!"The sun just came out while it was raining: A rainbow just appeared! My Grand Ma is smiling, for that would be the silver lining, as she would say!!Kylecomments always welcome. More About: Beautiful
WE ARE THY OWN, ENEMY!!
2007-06-28 13:40:00 Russian view of the world!! WE ARE THY OWN, ENEMY!!Hello Take a read at a 1983 article,("The enemy within" "Psychiatrist John Gleisner argues that we must develop a totally new way of thinking about ‘the enemy’ to avert a nuclear catastrophe." "‘GOTCHA!’ screamed the headline in the London Sun the morning after a British submarine sank the Argentinian warship General Beigrono in the South Atlantic last year. The 360 sailors who went down with their ship were only Argies— the enemy— and cheers resounded in pubs up and down the country. Many were shocked to hear British people chant ‘nuke the Argies’ and to see how the Ministry of Defense and the media portrayed Argentina as a nation of international gangsters. It was a shock, but it should not have been. After all, governments and media through... More About: Enemy
This Could Be Why Russia Is Grumpy About The Missiles!!
2007-06-26 17:31:00 "This beautiful map from Kommersant graphically demonstrates why Russia is concerned about the proposed US anti-missile system in Poland and the Czech republic. If the US plan goes ahead as expected, high powered radars from Poland will be able to cover all of European Russia, and a good chunk of Siberia as well: At the same time, it illustrates just why Central/Eastern Europe is such a perfect site for this anti-missile system. It’s directly in between any missiles that may be fired from Iran towards the US.It’s almost directly in between any missiles that might head towards Western Europe. It’s sufficiently far enough away to allow interceptors to be launched in good time. It’s perfectly placed to mesh with US-based radars covering the Atlantic and Arctic oceans.Oh yes - and it just happens to have a bonus feature allowing sneak peaks into Russian airspace…"Hello,I came across this little article from the Blog: Siberian Lightshttp://www.siberianlight.net/It is a good illu... Are Russia and USA the same!!
2007-06-25 13:43:00 Hello,Is Russia and the USA the same? Now before the world starts jumping up and down and saying that there is no way that they are the same!Just read first:I have done a lot of thinking about this. If you go back 50 years in America. You will find that the American Government then was not that much different than the Russian Government now. The Russian Government is in a growing stage now, that will take it through many trials and tribulations. The Russian Government is just like the American Government (a power struggle for the control of the country). The two governments are just at different growth stages. The American Government is a much more mature capitalist system. The Russian system is a fledgling capitalist system. I see total similarity between the Governments. They both control the elections, they control who is in office, they try to control the people, and they try to control the natural resources, plus the land that is connected. In America we have a saying "you can n... More About: Same

Babushkas!
2007-06-21 20:45:00 Hello,In Moscow you pass old ladies selling anything and everything. You see old ladies on the Metro, they are on the buses and they are walking every street. Russia has a name for these ladies, Babushka!!!The Babushka is by no means the same as an elderly lady in the Americas today. These ladies will take on a 6'3", 300 pound American Bear like me and not even blink. They grew up in hard times and give no inch to any one! I respect them for that and try my best to be polite or stay out of their way. I have at times gotten a little bit peeved and my Wife has explained to me about the Babushka's. The Babushka's work very hard and seem at times to have boundless energy! They remind me of my Grandma, for she was from the era of Americans that had to fight for what they got in life (the depression). The Babushka are a part of life in the Villages as well as the large cities. They are a part of Russian life that tells of its history and future. The young women in Russia should learn fro...
World As Boza See It!
2007-06-21 12:37:00 BOZA THE BEARHello,Today I was walking the dog, his name is Boza the Bear! He is half German Shepard and half Wire Haired Terrier. He is about half the size of a regular German Shepard!Boza has a good outlook on life. His outlook is simple, Just have as much fun as you can everyday. He loves the Village trips, he loves my cooking, he loves to go for walks and he loves to just lay around and goof off. Most of all he loves the one person that I love more than anyone else, my Wife. Now Boza is Russian, He understands many Russian words,(more than I do). He understands many English words(I know more English than he does). I think he is pretty smart. he is almost fluent in two languages. (I can not say the same)I watch Boza, the world to him is full of wonderful things. He chases bugs. He chases birds. He wants to be friends with everyone, people dogs, cats, bugs, frogs, toads, and anything else that will be his friend. He does not have a mean bone in his body. The world is a play ground ...
