Open Thread: When Patience Runs Thin
2008-05-11 17:02:00 Of late I have turned into one mean bastard online. I don’t take the usual amount of prodding I once did because I have been attacked in various ways, for too many years, since putting up the Anvil. My patience has run thin. I would like to thank the hate mail tossers that keep me ... More About: Rants , Opinion , Open , Patience
Alive and not yet food for the Rich
2008-05-06 17:47:00 My friends, I am alive and well. However, the Anvil has been the victim of a barrage of hacking since March and I have reached a point where I do not know if I will be able to contend with it for much longer. Bots are automatically sniffing my site and looking for any vulnerabilities ... More About: Rants , Food , Rich , Foehammer

Absolut vodka pulls pro-Reconquista advertisement
2008-04-09 19:21:00 When corporate greed goes too far (hat-tip: Glugzy): MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - The distillers of Sweden’s Absolut vodka have withdrawn an advertisement run in Mexico that angered many U.S. citizens by idealizing an early 19th century map showing chunks of the United States as Mexican. Comment on Fitna the Movie by Gramfan
2008-04-01 02:04:00 “Fitna” itself had little surprises for those of us who have been keeping an eye on things. I was very pleased to see it on a MSM ‘blog by Andrew Bolt. He had the guts to run it. Does anyone else know of any MSM sites than ran it? It caused quite a heated discussion over several days and yesterday when our Foreign Minister, who hadn’t even seen it, condemned it! I didn’t vote for these creeps.Bolt makes some good comments. blogs.news.com.au/heraldsun/andre...ts/no w_smith_monsters_fitna_too/ Often when films become controversial they arouse more interest and more exposure. If “Fitna” achieves this it will be worth it. There are too many people out there who are not aware of these things. I was impressed that so many ‘blogs ran with it. (OT, FH: 2 viruses on my pc. Got rid of them. Stayed away from my favourite ‘blogs - just in case!) Hope this works. More About: Movie , The Movie , Comment

Comment on Fitna the Movie by R. Hartman
2008-03-31 17:19:00 In The Netherlands, leading (ahem) politicians have condemned the film before anyone new what was in it. Balkenende traveled the world, warning everybody for this hate-movie, and seeking council by human rights champions like Syria and Iran, begging for forgiveness and please do not riot. Now the film has been released, those politicians still condemn the film, even while a number of them haven’t even bothered to watch it. Appaling. The police had prepared preprinted forms so offended people would only have to print their name and address in order to file a complaint. Yes, you think the US is turning sour, but we’re still a couple of miles ahead of you. Foremost reaction here was one of disappointment, that the film did not incite violence. Others were wondering what all the fuzz was about, nothing new was revealed, so what’s so shocking? Well, my friends, to me the most shocking was that many, many people were not upset about the message, mostly as it was old news... More About: Movie , The Movie , Comment , Hartman
Comment on A Brief for Whitey by Chris
2008-03-31 16:52:00 “Also, let me be blunt: These problems disproportionately affect African Americans, and we need to recognize that it is harder to be black in America than it is to be European, Asian, or Latin American because of the history of slavery and government-endorsed segregation and welfare dependency. Slavery and segregation are gone. But we have a long way to go to undo the culture of dependency, crime, and deviancy that the welfare state has created and sustained.” -Newt Gingrich, Winning The Future More About: Chris , Comment , Whitey

2008-03-31 15:39:00 The only thing the MSM will report is how hateful it is to quote direct clauses from the Koran or show Islamic violence. That’s also what our international nitwits, Moon and Arbour, have condemned. So the next time Muslims bring up the violence of the crusades, or what the Bible says, will the UN jump to condemn it? The answer to that will tell us all what is in store for the future. More About: Movie , The Movie , Comment
Comment on Road Rage or Sudden Jihad Syndrome? by Janet Reno
2008-03-31 14:57:00 Obama’s efforts to connect to the Republican Party, specifically Bush, and Dick Cheney, of the Halliburton Company, dates back to the Presidents Grandfather, Prescott Bush, and indeed Cheney was once an executive officer of Halliburton. The American military pounds Iraq with Artillary, bombs, and the like, destroying large sections of cities, and infra-structures, then Halliburton comes in to rebuild. Halliburton and Halliburton associated companies have raked in ten’s of billions. Obama is just like the BIG HALIBURTAN. Haliburton has contracted to build detention centers in the U.S. similiar to the one in Quantanammo Bay, Cuba. Halliburton does nothing to earn the Two Dollars for each meal an American Serviceman in Iraq eats. http://www.halliburtonwatch.org/ Halliburton was scheduled to take control of the Dubai Ports in The United Arab Emiirate. The deal was canceled when Bush was unable to affect the transfer of the American Ports. Now we see what some might su... More About: Jihad , Syndrome , Rage , Comment , Road

Rogers: The Fed Should Be Abolished
2008-03-24 14:18:00 On this just passed Easter holiday, I was confronted by an obstinate, yet well-meaning friend that asked me where all the money would come from to run the U.S.A. if we abolished the Federal Income Tax.
