When MySpace insults my intelligence
2008-02-05 02:58:00
Perhaps, you have read my previous story on MySpace deleting its atheist and agnostic group together with 35,000 members. If not, it is available here. Anyway, I decided to send them an e-mail to complain about what happened: read more

When MySpace gives in to religious bigotry
2008-02-01 00:40:00
As I was surfing the net without a specific purpose last night I stumbled upon a relative short article on a Secular Student Alliance's article regarding MySpace. Apparently, social networking site, MySpace.com, deleted the Atheists and Agnostic Group which had 35,000 members. This deletion, due mainly to complains from religious people marks the second time MySpace has removed the group since November 2007. read more

Football-inspired stupidity
2008-01-27 21:21:00
It???s that time of year we???re reminded of the human capacity for stupidity specific to football. American football that is - not European football or soccer as it???s called in the US. While I discuss the American phenomena of football-inspired moronics here, I will openly admit this is one of the few times I must judge European football fans much worse than Americans ??? often riots break out and attending a ???football??? game in Europe especially read more

2008-01-24 03:38:00
So, unless you are an American living in Montana and do not give a FAK about the rest of the world, you probably know by now that France has a new president called Nicolas Sarkozy . He also likes George W. and they had holidays together. You may also know that he is divorced from his wife and already has a new girlfriend, ex model / actress / singer / slut / (enter whatever you want here). read more

Protecting the Right to Choose
2008-01-22 06:09:00
January 22 marks the 35 anniversary of Roe v Wade, the Supreme Court case that legalized abortions in the United States. This is something to be celebrated and protected especially with the skyrocketing number of pro-life(ie anti-abortion) whacktivists just dying to yank away a woman???s right to choose. Frighteningly, pro-life members easily stand to outnumber those who read more

A birthday and a funeral
2008-01-12 14:07:00
First of all let me wish Happy New Year and all the best for the future to our reader(s). We haven't abandoned this site but the Xmas vacation gave us an awesome opportunity to have a break from many things including blogging and thinking about the stupidity around us. Of course, the latter was not that easy because even if I wanted to relax with a nice cup of coffee (or frape) under the Greek sun overlooking the Parthenon, stupidity and bigotry were surrounding me. After all, these traits are universal and they know no boundaries. read more

So it is Xmas time again
2007-12-15 21:58:00
So it is this time of year again. IT IS CHRISTMAS. It is the time for holidays. Time for relaxation. It is time for shopping. It is time for reflexion. Time for philanthropy. That is ladies and gents my problem. Every year at the same time of the year we remember those in need. We buy some food for the homeless, give away the clothes we haven't used for donkeys years since we got fatter after been stuffed with the Thanksgiving Turkey. We may give money to a few charities. read more

Just the true facts ma'am
2007-12-12 05:03:00
The latest media buzz surrounding the destruction of recorded CIA interrogations of al-Qaida terror suspects renders some rather comical elements. While there?s nothing funny about torture, I can?t help but laugh to think some people don?t necessarily consider waterboarding a form of torture. How can such a practice be misconstrued as if it?s comparable to a Beverly Hills spa treatment? Forced to feel you?re drowning easily confused with an aquatic read more

Bearly a Crime
2007-11-29 04:06:00
Once upon a time in a very ?faked-up? land called Sudan, there was a teddy bear named Muhammad who was part of a school project in a class taught by a teacher from the U.K. Muhammad went to school with the children and on weekends, Mohammed would go home with one of the children and that child would write entries in Muhammad the teddy bear's diary about his weekend adventures at the child?s home. Muhammad and the children were having a blast UNTIL one day, some parents bitched that the bear was named Muhammad after their prophet Muhammad.read more

A truly religious car is born
2007-11-13 02:12:00
Car manufacturers will do anything to convince us to buy their vehicles. The industry is extremely competitive and even a single idea can be make-or-break for them. That is actually good for the buyer. Because of the strong competition, cars are becoming more technologically advanced and safer each year. read more

White House Deletes Effects of Global Warming
2007-10-25 05:39:00
If you don?t like the scientific findings on the negative impact of global warming, just edit them so they?re not nearly as bothersome as originally stated by the director of the CDC(Centers for Disease Control). According to an Associated Press article, that?s what the White House did when presented with testimony to be presented before a congressional committee responsible for drafting global warming legislation.read more
