We hope that the new strategy would be vigorously implemented without losing time otherwise it would be too late. The report points out that a large part of FATA and non-Fata areas are affected by Taliban militancy. The clerics are using operating illegal FM radio stations to propagate an extremist philosophy. Some madressahs continued to recruit young boys for ?jihad?. It is disturbing to note that the ruling group in the NWFP has sympathy for the Taliban and Al Qaeda. In my opinion , the lack of democracy is one of the major reasons for the Taliban?s success.

THE US, obviously, is very much concerned about the political crisis in Pakistan . However, the history of US 'concern' has been a collection of painful memories. The US has been in love with dictatorships in Third World countries because a government of the people can never be a game of puppet and puppeteer. Our era has become the most barbaric in the modern history of civilisation, in which double standard is the norm, rather than an exception. However, truth will triumph. As far as the Pakistan government is concerned, it seems unreasonably determined about making more mistakes. The Foreign Minister's interview with Reuters is a parade of errors. The only way of salvation for Islamabad from the ongoing crisis is to be free from external pressures and internal oppressors. The Pakistani authorities should honestly try to get rid of the effects of the US 'concerns'.

Students from pro-Taliban Red Mosque in Islamabad kidnapped 10 Chinese women from an  acupuncture clinic. They alleged that the clinic was used as brothel. The mosque representative told press that they informed the police repeatedly that the clinic was used as a brother, but they did not take any action. So we decided to take action on our own.Government officials said that they were trying to secure the release of kidnapped persons.In my opinion, government is supporting these clerics.
