The Alberta Provincial election is just around the corner....it's time to let the oil companies know they aren't going to be running the province anymore....we need to get rid of the right winged lunatics that currently run this province......been to a hospital in the province lately? do you enjoy paying almost double for rent/mortgage than we did 5 years ago? if we leave the conservatives in power, this province will continue to head downhill....we will have private health care, where the rich get healthy, and poor get sicker. Housing prices will continue to rise, but you won't see your paychecks rise. You will continue to see politicans voting themselves payraises while at the same time explaning why we can't afford to have enough doctors in the community. We will continue to see oil money leave this country at rates not seen anywhere in the world. Ok, so most of you by now have probably heard about Marc Emery and his extradition case concerning the American Government and  one of their corrupt agencies know as the DEA. The DEA is trying to extradite Marc Emery because of his political beliefs, they make no bones about it, and when I called the Vancouver office of the DEA today, all they would say was "no comment" they wouldn't even deny that the case was completly about politics. The DEA should not have offices in Canada, just as the Americans wouldn't want the Taliban to have offices in the USA. Interestingly enough, the phone numbers for the DEA in Canada are not published anywhere.....so, I thought I'd help them out: Drug Enforcement Agency DEA D.E.A. Vancouver Office: 604-642-6675 Ottawa Office: 613-688-5309 you may wanna avoid giving them your real name.....they're probably in charge of creating that infamous "no fly list" The more calls they get requesting they leave our country...

Speaking of Halliburton....which they do at the end of the clip...I've noticed a lot of Halliburton trucks in my area of the country lately....usually leaving big oil rigs.......how long do you think before they travel with american millitary escorts in Canada?? I figure they at least have to take care of Iran first....and then I'm sure they'll be here too...after all, Alberta is in the process of building a new nuclear plant....that seems to be all it takes these days. In Venezuela gas is about 5 cents/liter In Mexico, gas is 60 cents/liter  in Canada, it's about $1.10/liter Why is our gas so expensive? The "war on terror" - and by terrorists - has directly killed a minimum of 62,006 people, created 4.5 million refugees and cost the US more than the sum needed to pay off the debts of every poor nation on earth.  About 55 000 of these were civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan, killed directly by the Bush Administration. Imagine the USA had actually decided to pay off the debts of every poor nation on earth....instead of killing every last person that steps in their way. He's created 4.5 million refugees, and yet they bitch when Mexicans cross their border. But hey, it's not all his fault, the Americans did vote for him.....Twice....which speaks directly to the character of the country...... Simple things you can do to help stop the war:  - Don't buy American products, American companies pay taxes to Bush, Taxes pay for the war, with every American product we buy, we help kill an innocent civilian. - Don't travel to the USA.......Mexico, The Caribbean, all...

Being as how I am not an American, I cannot vote in the upcoming 2008 President ial Election. If I could though my support would be for Dennis  Kucinich, he is the ONLY candidate right that is actually a compassionate person, he is the ONLY candidate that is against war, he is the ONLY candidate that voted against the war in Iraq and continues to vote AGAINST funding for it. THE WAR IN IRAQ IS ILLEGAL http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/ article6917.htm  The war was NOT sanctioned by the United Nations. My first blog goes out the MP for Wild Rose, which includes Airdrie AB, generally considered to be the home of "Once Just". His name his Myron Thompson ,  His likes include: Gay Bashing, Canada Bashing, and wearing a cowboy hat (but not at gay rodeos)  Dislikes: Gays, Lesbians, Canadians, and Iraqis.  He is not a Canadian of natural descent, he's an American, which is cool for me, I'm all about opening our borders for more immigration....he however is not...Old Myron  served in the American Army for 2 whole years from 1958-1960. One may find it interesting to note that he came to Canada from the USA during the Vietnam war (1968)....One might wonder if he was called back to service and then fled to peace loving Canada for a little safety....At the very least, one has to wonder why a red-neck, gay bashing, war loving, cowboy hat wearing, American would flee the USA during a time of war.....At least we know he's not the loyal ty...
