Considerate Governance
2008-02-12 23:16:00
No plan to ban 'anti-teen' deviceThe headline says it all.The fact that it was considered is worrying though. Are teens that much of a problem? No!...the Mosquito devices, which can cause discomfort to youngsters' ears, should be "a last resort" against anti-social behaviour. Removing the ability to use tools like Mosquitoes will make life harder for retailers that face real problems. James Lowman, Association of Convenience Stores. These devices, legislation and their use seems business driven, as is frequently the case.Teenagers can sit happily this evening knowing that they will not be banned this year.

Mad, Mad Law - Winnebago
2008-02-12 22:25:00
Sued Winnebago after crashing it.In November 2000 Mr. Grazinski purchased a brand new 32 foot Winnebago motor home. On his first trip home, having joined the freeway, he set the cruise control at 70 mph and calmly left the drivers seat to go into the back and make himself a cup of coffee. Not surprisingly the Winnie left the freeway, crashed and overturned. Mr. Grazinski sued Winnebago for not advising him in the handbook that he couldn't actually do this. He was awarded $1,750,000 plus a new Winnie. (Winnebago actually changed their handbooks on the back of this court case, just in case there are any other complete morons buying their vehicles.)

Sued after breaking her ankle tripping over a toddler In January 2000, Kathleen Robertson of Austin Texas was awarded $780,000.00 by a jury of her peers after breaking her ankle tripping over a toddler who was running amuck inside a furniture store. The owners of the store were understandably surprised at the verdict, considering the misbehaving tyke was Ms. Robertson's son. This site has some great amusement.Have fun...

Chavez 'US oil supply'
2008-02-11 23:30:00
It'll help put the price of Oil up. That's what the oil business wants. Ho hum.Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has warned that Caracas would stop oil supplies to the US if Exxon Mobil seized the country's assets."If you freeze us, if you really manage to freeze us, if you damage us, then we will hurt you. Do you know how? We are not going to send oil to the United States. Take notes, Mr. Bush, Mr. Danger,'' Chavez said.Exxon Mobil has launched a bid to freeze the assets of Venezuela's state-run oil company, Petroleos de Venezuela SA, in the US, British and Dutch courts. The move comes after the nationalization of a multibillion dollar oil project by Chavez's government last year.A British court has issued an injunction freezing as much as US$12 billion in assets."The outlaws of Exxon Mobil will never again rob us," Chavez said, accusing the oil giant of acting in line with the policies of 'the imperialist government of the United States' and of being part of the 'internati...

If you don't know what a Bedini School Girl Motor (SSG) is or what the fuss is all about then shame on you. lol.It a simple machine that creates more energy than is manually input. Some may say Free Energy, others would say don't be silly it's energy from the vacuum that's created the over unity.Whatever it is, we are about to embark on a journey with this technology. It is our opinion this has been around before since the days of Tesla but one man stands head and shoulders above the rest - John Bedini. Various net working groups have certainly found a place for this design and circuit.Easy as pie - who said we have to pay for things - i.e. energy?

Schools Close Daily
2008-02-11 00:55:00
Schools are being shut at the rate of almost one a day, with hundreds axed in rural areas in the past five years. The full extent of the closures is revealed for the first time in new government figures which show that a total of 1,704 schools have been shut in England since 2002 - an average of 6.6 a week.Rural counties figure high on the list. Twenty-six schools have been axed in Durham, 58 in Kent, 34 in Lancashire, 33 in Norfolk and 38 in Northamptonshire. Worcestershire has seen the closure of 56 schools, while 33 have closed in Wiltshire. The disclosure, in figures from the Department for Children, Schools and Families, follows reports of plans to close up to 300 more across the country, many in small villages.Critics say the Government and local councils are draining the lifeblood of rural communities for short-term savings. Mervyn Benford, a spokesman for the National Association for Small Schools, said: "The loss of a school is often the first or last straw in a chain of even...

Bush Plans to Attack Iran
2008-02-09 17:45:00
It is virtually impossible to overstate the profligacy of what our government spends on the military. The Department of Defense's planned expenditures for fiscal year 2008 are larger than all other nations' military budgets combined. The supplementary budget to pay for the current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, not part of the official defense budget, is itself larger than the combined military budgets of Russia and China. Defense-related spending for fiscal 2008 will exceed $1 trillion for the first time in history. The United States has become the largest single salesman of arms and munitions to other nations on Earth. Leaving out of account President Bush 's two on-going wars, defense spending has doubled since the mid-1990s. The defense budget for fiscal 2008 is the largest since World War II.Always a Military option - 'we will'.He doesn't like those who use murder for political objective. lol.

Princess Dianna Photographer Found Dead with Hole in Head
2008-02-09 15:21:00
The photographer accused of helping MI6 to murder Princess Diana was found in a burnt-out BMW with a hole in his head, a court heard today.James Andanson died after boasting to friends of having secretly taken "explosive" photos of the Paris crash scene, the Diana inquest was told. The Frenchman owned a white Fiat Uno, which Mohamed Al Fayed claims he used to cause the fatal collision that killed the princess and his son Dodi. The Harrods boss believes the photographer was planning to go public with his "involvement" in the alleged British secret service plot when his charred body was found in a forest near his home in the South of France in May 2000.French Investigating officer Jean-Michel Lauzun told the London hearing that he arrived while the vehicle was still ablaze and saw the corpse alight at the steering wheel with a two inch hole in his left temple. But police concluded that it was a suicide after a pathologist said the hole was due to the intense heat of the fire after he set...

Media Business Government - Cabal
2008-02-09 14:46:00
Fox reporters told to lie. We've always questions Fox's 'Fair and Balanced reporting'.It certainly seems that Mass media plays as much a part of Government as any institution. It is becoming more clear that big business, media and government are a cabal. They paid $3billion for the channels so they'll be telling the reporters what the news is - OK.If you refuse you get fired, fair and balanced. Or the rest of the years salary if you don't talk about Monsanto or the Fox response.Falsifying news is not a crime.

The Water Car is here
2008-02-08 21:47:00
Well not quite.A remote-control car produced by the toymaker Corgi is the first household item to be powered by hydrogen fuel cell technology. The car, called H2GO, uses hydrogen derived from tap water as its fuel and was developed by the Leicester-based company in partnership with Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies, an international firm based in Shanghai that hopes to extend the technology to home appliances. The hydrogen is separated from oxygen in the tap water via a miniaturised unit powered by a rechargeable battery. A tiny solar panel to charge the battery is an optional extra. The H2GO, which is billed as the first ?zero emissions? remote-control toy, went on show at the Nuremberg International Toy Fair. It is expected to sell for £130 from September.

Vanishing Debt and People
2008-02-07 00:58:00
I am in the unfortunate position, that one of my business clients owes me about £300 for products and services supplied to him over the year. His cheque bounced and despite several reminders to cancel his subscription and doing so, I am yet to see my money. I had a conversation with a debt collection company, a very large one that sounds like something to do with a court called Intrum Justitia. One of the debt advisors told me they would do everything they can to trace this individual and try and extract from funds, but they said a lot of people are dissapearing from the system.Curiously I asked what did she mean and she told me that in the UK our entire banking, mortgage, credit and insurance system is based on your name being on an electoral at your council. Each council is legally obliged to give/sell every name on that list to the credit reference agencies and this becomes the cornerstone of your credit file.Every application for credit, is subsequently checked against your name...

Unwise Lending - 10 million at risk
2008-02-07 00:31:00
10m 'may default on debt by end of year'More than 10 million people may default on repayments for mortgages, credit cards or personal loans by the end of the year.A forecast from one of Britain's biggest accountancy firms, says that "the merry-go-round of credit is about to stop", as millions of people realise their take-home pay is not enough to service their debts. Then they shouldn't have lent the money to them in the first place.According to KPMG, 22 per cent of those adults with debts - equating to 6.6 million - are already finding it difficult to meet their repayments. However, 35 per cent - or 10.6 million - are worried they will find it even more difficult to pay back their debts in a year. The figures come from a KPMG survey conducted by YouGov and commissioned by the ITV documentary Repossession, Repossession, Repossession. It's good news if your a first time buyer or just sold your house, the financial system is as bent as a '2 bob' note.
