Along with the ample supply of the flour, government needs to keep a strict check on smuggling and hoarding of the flour. The inter-provincial ban on the transport of wheat and flour is timely and it should be observed more strictly and the supply of flour between the provinces should only be conducted through the governments. Another factor in alleviating the flour crisis in the country is to ensure that the prices in the markets of flour and wheat remains the same throughout the country according to the price fixed by the authorities.
