DILI, Feb. 19 (AFP) - The first suspect detained in connection with attacks on East Timor's two political leaders has been freed but will be kept under house arrest, a prosecutor said late Monday. The suspect, Timorese-Australian citizen and lawyer Angelita Pires, had been arrested on Sunday after the attempted shooting last week of President Jose Ramos-Horta and Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao.
