Nappy-Headed Ho(use) Speaker Disses Bush, Raps With Gangsta
2007-04-17 03:37:00
Nancy Pelosi always has something to say about unequal rights for women in America, while safely ensconced in America, yet she has no compunction in lowering her status abroad by covering up with one of the many headscarves she reportedly packed. She complains about the glass ceiling and inequality in America, but never about the plight of Muslim women being stoned to death for mere allegations of adultery, burned and disfigured with acid, subjected to genital mutilation, or any of the other uplifting cultural traditions that await many of them.

Nappy-Headed (Ho)use Speaker Disses Bush, Raps With Gangsta
2007-04-15 07:01:00
The self-proclaimed Most Powerful Woman in America, The Imperial Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is a clear and present danger to this country. Let’s begin just prior to when Pelosi took the reigns, just before the drubbing of the GOP. Back in November 2006, just prior to the mid-term election that swept her into power and ...

Whose Side Are You On, Anyway?
2007-04-12 07:01:00
It has long been alleged by conservatives that there is a liberal bias to the media. It has also been alleged by liberals -although with much less to support the allegations- that there is a conservative bias to the media. In an effort to determine in which direction the scales of bias tilt, let’s examine ...

Whose Side Are You On, Anyway?
2007-04-11 05:53:00
Despite exhaustive searching on my part of hundreds of search engine result pages, the only reference to the 'so far, so good' comment that I could find came in a Defense Department Article written by Jim Garamone, an American Forces Press Service writer, and a few blogs. The vast majority of news coverage of Ingraham's interview of Gates was an AP or Reuters wire service article that focused on 'ethnic cleansing' if the US left. This demonstrates a fundamental problem with news coverage in the US.

Read My Lips: ?It ?is? More Than The Media?
2007-04-09 07:01:00
It can easily be argued that much like an automobile that begins to depreciate the moment it has been driven off the lot, the debate that is the bread-and-butter of the modern-day, American, two-party political system began to deteriorate the moment the wheels of the very first reelection campaign were set in motion. But boy, ...

Read My Lips:"It 'is' More Than The Media
2007-04-08 01:50:00
The degeneracy of American political discourse cannot be blamed simply on a salacious media. That would be a gross oversimplification. It takes two to tango. It is a symbiosis. A mutually beneficial relationship. If there weren't so many scandals and so much hypocrisy emanating out of every corner of Washington, it is quite doubtful that coverage of events would have ever reached these lows.

Rosie: ?My Weight Loss Secret? I ran??
2007-04-05 07:01:00
Rosie O’Donnell really needs to cut down sharply on her trips to the supermarket. That way, she wouldn’t have two and a half hours during checkout to browse through the tabloids searching for inspiration for the next segment on her bully pulpit, ABC’s the View. Many of the accusations she has leveled in recent weeks ...

Are Veterans Deadbeats?
2007-04-02 07:01:00
The attack on America’s veterans continues. We’re now being compared to those receiving government entitlements and entered into the same database the federal government uses to track deadbeat dads, and insurance frauds. On March 21st, on a vote of 424?0, the House passed HR 797, the Dr. James Allen Veteran Vision Equity Act, sponsored by ...

Are Veterans Deatbeats?
2007-04-01 08:41:00
VA compensation is not an entitlement like welfare. It was earned -in most cases- in blood or lost limbs. Disabled veterans are not pedophiles, deadbeats, or public charges, and any legislation that treats them as such should be roundly condemned.

Shut Up Already!
2007-03-29 07:01:00
If I hear one more politician tell me how much they care for and support our veterans, I’m going to hurl. While spending nearly six months in Balboa Naval Hospital in the early 1990’s, they brought me in a “roomie”. He was about 19; a young Airborne Private who was on a night training jump. ...

The problem with the treatment of America's veterans is not George Bush. The problem is the use of disabled, paralyzed, or amputee veterans as political footballs by ALL politicians in an election cycle now two years long, and it needs to stop right here. Right now.

A Dangerous Dialectic
2007-03-26 07:01:00
The United States is well on its way to Marxism and may be further along than many people thought. It is well known that there are many professors in American universities that espouse Marxist, collectivist viewpoints. They do so openly. But how far does this go? How harmful is a bunch of hippie Marxist rhetoric? ...

the two-party system exists by staking out the two most extreme positions on any issue, and then moving to the middle on a compromise measure that works for everyone. Some call this consensus building - democracy, I call it Marxism, plain and simple.

John Edwards: Quintessential Ambulance Chaser
2007-03-22 06:01:00
Early indications are that John Edwards is having a spot of trouble. After hiring, supporting, and then finally accepting the resignation of Amanda Marcotte -a vitriolic Christophobe- as his campaign blogger, he went on television trying to argue that Jesus would be offended at the greed and indifference of the average American. Now it seems ...

John Edwards: Quintessential Ambulance Chaser
2007-03-21 07:27:00
John Edwards does not represent the "little guy". He represents large, predatory, legal firms advancing specious arguments, such as the theory that cases of Cerebral Palsy were the result of medical malpractice by doctors during "botched" deliveries. His courtroom victories were more about his ability to sway a jury with emotional oratory than medical science.

His intent is to keep Walter Reed open, in spite of the fact it is one of the oldest installations in the country. He hopes that by doing this, and attaching even stricter standards, that the Administration will have to sink so much money in Walter Reed to keep it open, that they will have to choose between the hospital and bullets.

Sharratt says that that Marines in 3-1 Kilo Company raided 22 homes that day, but only fired their weapons in four instances. Truth And Consequences
2007-03-05 06:01:00
Last week, I made the case that liberals lacked the will and the spine to fight when necessary. Liberal opposition to that column was minuscule but very loud, which is in and of itself, stereotypically liberal. There is yet to be one cogent, coherent liberal argument why we should allow Iraq to fall under the ...

Sugar and Spice, Corrupted By Vice

The House That Jack Built
2007-02-20 10:13:02
This is not a game. It is deadly serious business, with dire, long-term consequences far beyond the 2008 election. Democrats are throwing around words like "defeat" on the House floor. I vehemently disagreed with my president more than anyone on the conduct of this war, but nothing good can come from calling this a defeat, Henry Waxman. It's time to condemn and tear down the House that Jack built, before they encourage the terrorists enough that they again attack us here at home.
