OK, this was another first. I just quoted (hack, barf) Joe Scarborough. In his debut on HuffPo Joe looks at the loss tonight by now-Independent Joe to Ned Lamont, and what it says about the Democratic Party. His cogent thesis is condescending, patronizing, and misogynistic, but he still has a point: ?My advice to Democratic voters this year is "Go left, young man!"? With the apologies to the women running this year, this is an excellent suggestion. It will more than likely go unheeded, but I would still recommend that every single Democratic strategist and campaign manager print it out and use it as your mantra! Mind you, I am not talking going to the insane side of left. No idiots who want to raise taxes to 60%. No bleeding hearts who could not imagine seeing a convicted murderer incarcerated. The only thing in this story that shocks me is how casually James Bamford describes the multiple acts of treason committed by this Administration and its neo-con minions. Once again, I urge everyone who reads this to speak to anyone they know who still wants to vote Republican. Ask them questions. Describe reality to them. Do what you have to, but stop them from voting Republican. We need a humongous landslide this November, so that these bastards cannot steal this election as well.
