The New York state clerks working at the DMV are REFUSING to follow a governor's order to begin issuing drivers licences to people without social security identification. The governor of New York (who the bleep is he anyway?) is committing an illegal act. I see this as a breach of national security by trying to circumvent the system; the system being when you apply for a social security number you must provide proof of your citizenship. It's an essential security protocol. Period. The New York state DMV clerks are also preparing to be sued by the governor's office.
