Letter From A Hero
2007-10-10 00:57:00 I would like to apologize to my regular readers for not posting a blog since September 4th and thank my new visitors for their interest in reading somewhat dated material. Since that time, a surgeon’s scalpel has led me to more fully appreciate the plight of a Thanksgiving turkey on his way the serving platter. It has been a longer road back than I anticipated with some distance yet to travel. While I’ve not been able to log much computer time, I have had time to do a good deal of reading and research. A few weeks ago I came across a letter to his father from one of America’s true heroes, Sgt. Eddie Jeffers. Eddie made the ultimate sacrifice on September 19, 2007 while serving in Iraq. He was only 23 but, clearly, possessed wisdom and insight beyond his years. War can do that. I want to share his letter with you because it captures the essence of who the real enemy is to the United States better than anything else I’ve read or could have written. It&r... Category Six
2007-09-04 15:31:00 It’s hard to believe that two full years have passed since category five hurricane “Katrina” roared along the Gulf Coast, devastating the Mississippi cities of Waveland, Bay St. Louis, Pass Christian, Long Beach, Gulfport, Biloxi, Ocean Springs, Pascagoula and, oh yes, New Orleans. That’s in Louisiana. That would be category six…a category of people and politics that no longer need the presence of a storm to create the pretext of disaster. You don’t hear much about all those Mississippi towns anymore because, in spite of facing equal or greater hardship than their neighbors, the people picked themselves up, dusted themselves off and got on with their lives. Not in Louisiana, though. That’s cat-six country. Most folks are just sittin’ and rockin’, still waiting for the government to come rescue them. No matter how many billions of dollars in Federal funds have already been sent or the billions more that came to the area from... More About: Category , Tego

Soviet Style Justice
2007-08-29 18:07:00 Congratulations to Liberal Democrats and all other lesser carbon based life forms. You’ve managed to successfully smear and eliminate another good man with a non-offense. First you took down Libby, Rumsfeld, and Rove…now Alberto Gonzales. It’s a terrific tactic. If you can’t win at the ballot box, seize power through the Judiciary. If that doesn’t work, resort to the classic Soviet technique of trumped up charges and phony trials. Accuse the other guys of your own indiscretions and put a loudmouth Stalinist like Chuck “Where’s the Camera” Schumer out front as a diversion to complete the package. If you’re going play dirty, let your lowest common denominator lead the parade. Hey Chuckles, the camera is over here. Tell us who’s next! The problem is that Republicans believe they’re above fighting back. The Left uses that fact to full advantage. For example, I never heard anyone in the administration point out t... It’s About Time
2007-08-26 15:10:00 Our Founding Fathers fostered a two party system for good reason. It’s supposed to help keep everyone honest and flesh out fresh ideas. It used to be that the majority ruled. Now, if it’s not a bipartisan effort, one party or the other throws a tantrum like the little kid whose mommy doesn’t buy him candy at the grocery checkout. As for honesty, it has become a bigger casualty than patriotism. In the past few years, we’ve redrawn our founders’ original design to include joint efforts on judicial appointments, increasing the minimum wage, not defunding the troops and amnesty for illegal aliens. Defeat of the amnesty abomination demonstrated just how out of touch both parties are with their constituents…but trying to cram the inherently flawed bill down our throats was bipartisan, nonetheless. If we can reach consensus on these important but lesser issues, why can’t we unite against a rag-tag horde of bloodthirsty devils who have sworn our ann... More About: Time
NFL?s Game
2007-08-25 03:21:00 Congratulations to the NFL for having the courage to call the first play on the side of fairness and humanity. 2007-08-25 03:21:00 Congratulations to the NFL for having the courage to call the first play on the side of fairness and humanity. I was pleased to see a headline today which read, “NFL Suspends Michael Vick Indefinitely.” It’s a move in the right direction. Once the field clears, moral justice would be well served by a lifetime suspension, at the very least. Now it’s up to the legal system to keep this bloodstained Neanderthal from scrambling away from the inexcusable crimes to which he has admitted. R.S.F. More About: Game
Justice Could Be The VICK-tim
2007-08-23 00:57:00 In 1989 Pete Rose, one of the most talented, men ever to play baseball, was handed a lifetime suspension from the game and a fistful of heavy fines. His crime? He loved his team. Rope -A-Dope
2007-08-16 16:00:00 When the great Muhammed Ali was fighting, he developed a tactic called the Rope -A-Dope . He would cover up and simply let the other guy punch himself out. In the later rounds, when his opponent’s arms became weary and exhaustion was setting in, Ali would open up with his “haymaker” and put the fellow’s ...

The Whining About Warming
2007-08-08 18:00:00 I think I’ve got it! After listening to the jokers who can’t get tomorrow’s weather right try to make global predictions 100 years hence, and giving the subject way more thought than it deserves, I believe I have the perfect solution to the global warming issue. Follow this closely. It’s based upon a ... More About: Stuff , Ming , Armin
Way To Go Hussein!
2007-08-05 14:30:00 I’ve heard B. Hussein Obama called “The Magic Negro” and I’m beginning to think he, in fact, must possess magical powers. How else can you explain his ability to actually speak while both feet are firmly implanted between tongue and cheek? Apparently, when they put the bone in his head that says, “Think!” they forgot to connect it to his mouth. Articulate? The stuff he spews needs to be caught in that little pocket at the bottom of his bib. If he can incite violent anti-American reaction as a mere candidate, think of the damage he can do in higher office! For once, Hillary is right; of course her current opinion is only as good as the next poll. She called Obama “irresponsible and frankly naive” for saying he would meet, unconditionally, with the “world’s worst dictators”. She forgot to add dangerous. He is as dangerous as Hillary Marx Clinton herself. “Barry’s” wealth of international ex...
Hoodwinked!
2007-08-02 15:27:00 Which way’s the camera, get me a microphone, where’s the camera??? It looks like Chuck “Hey I’m over here” Schumer is at it again…or still. Bits And Pieces
2007-07-30 18:50:00 I want to tie a few loose ends together on a variety of issues, beginning with one of my favorite video moments. It’s Fred Thompson’s reply to Michael Moore. The details aren’t important but this sort of moxie is why I’m beginning to like Fred very, very much. Congratulations to Congressman Pete King [R-NY] for being one of the few politicians who puts our national security first. His “John Doe” legislation, protecting concerned citizens from frivolous law suits by would-be evil doers, has triumphed despite vigorous Democrat efforts to support the enemies of our country. Hey, Pelosi, Reid, Murtha, Kennedy, Clinton, Obama and the rest of those anti-American Democrats, as well as the RINOs also conspiring against this nation…tell this guy he’s wasting his time and not doing any good. Somehow, I don’t think he’d even hear you. He’s too busy doing his job. Why aren’t you? I find it interesting to read that N... More About: Piece , Pieces , Bits
Democrat Debacle
2007-07-26 08:42:00 I hope a lot of Americans were watching The Democrat Circus the other night because it paraded before the nation all the reasons rational beings, whose I.Q. is larger than their shoe size, shouldn’t consider voting for any of these jokers. In case you missed it, the alleged ‘debate’ process finally lost its last ounce of ...
Bloodthirsty QB
2007-07-23 16:30:00 Michael Vick is a highly paid quarterback with the Atlanta Falcons. He’s not much of a quarterback but, rather, a media creation. Now, he has proven that he’s not much of a human being, either. If you haven’t yet read about the atrocities he has allegedly committed I won’t enumerate them here; I don’t ... More About: Thirst
