The Cardiff local plan states that the planning framework is geared to preserving and enhancing the quality of life and environment of the city, in so far as this is affected by decisions about land use and transportation planning. The Pantmawr Inn is the heart of community life on the Pantmawr estate, and its loss would impact very negatively on the local community, in other words - tragic. I consider the amended proposals are still too massive and out of scale with the existing development. I am writing to submit a strong objection to the change of usage, the inappropriate change of use, redevelopment of Pantmawr Inn site. People didn't want to loose the pub and the amenity this provides.
