Temporary Injunction Against Immigration Crackdown
2007-10-12 13:51:00 A Federal District Judge in San Francisco has issued a Temp orary Injuction to stop the Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration from sending out the "Matching Social Security Number" letters to over 140,000 employers. The letters inform employers that an employee social security number does not match the number on federal records, and requires the employer and employee to get it straight or the employee must be terminated. Judge Charles Breyer cited concerns that too many American Citizens may be inadvertently caught up in the operation and could lose their jobs. That could well be the case as not only do Illegal Immigrants make up Social Security Numbers (such as 123-45-678) they steal them as well. Maybe mine or yours. New Bill Would Increase # Of Foreign Workers
2007-10-10 14:22:00 Currently, the number of visas granted under the guest worker program (H-2B Visa) for unskilled labor is capped at 66,00 per year.That visa expires in one year. A new bill introduced by Senator Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) and Congressman Bart Stupak (D-MI), would exempt those with that visa, from being counted towards the cap of the next year, if they are re-hired by their employers. What this means is, if a person has an H-2B visa today, he doesn't need one next year.[ Technically speaking..the H-2B Visa would not expire ] That would mean in addition to the 66,000 workers allowed into the country under the program, an additional 66,000 would be allowed into the country the following year. (OR... 132,000 in two years) so, by the year 2017, that number would be 858,000. These workers are non-agricultural workers and are employed in domestic services and hospitality. You know the ones that e-mail you and tell you that you have won the lottery, or they want to send you a check to deposit in your account because of some bull-oney reason, and then you are supposed to send them some cash and keep the ballance. They also join web-dating services and pretend to be the match of your dreams. After you send them some hard luck cash and airfare, they disappear. Then there is the one where you have something for sale on-line, and they want to send you more money than the sale price, because they can't get a check cashed...and you are supposed to ship the item, and the ballance. Terrorist Chemical Attack In London Today
2007-10-04 03:07:00 Noxious fumes and smoke filled the air in a London neighborhood today, prompting frantic calls to emergency services. In early 2004, Chisale returns to the farm to collect his belongings. Scott-Crossley, and another employee, Simon Mathebula, tied up Chisale, beat him, and tossed him into a Lion Breeding Enclosure. When the coppers finally arrive, all that is left of Chisale is a few bones, and some shredded clothes, Scott-Crossley was convicted of murder and sentenced to life. However, the appeals court ruled that the prosecution did not prove that Chisale was dead or alive when he was thrown to the Lions. "DREAM" Act Fails In Senate

Violence Brewing
2007-09-24 15:47:00 Recently in a parking lot in a local city ( I am not going to name names here) two men were standing near a vehicle and having a conversation in Spanish. Another man drove up in a pick-up and started to verbally abuse the two. He accused them of being Illegal Immigrants and told them that they needed to speak English in America. As it would happen, one of the men, although Hispanic, had legally come to The United States 17 years ago and is a citizen. Moreover, he is an Attorney. The other man was a client. The point here is that the man in the pick-up could not distinguish between who is legal, and who is not. This is a disturbing indication of how tense the Illegal Immigration crisis is becoming on the streets of our country. 2007-09-24 03:01:00 A study just released by The University Of North Carolina / Chapel Hill, states that Fifty Four Percent of the increase of student enrollment in public schools, between 2000 and 2004, is due to the influx of children who are the offspring of ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. The Constitution of this state requires that ALL children attend school, at least until their 16th birthday. Parents cannot refuse, or elect to keep children out of school to work on the farm, or any other reason. Likewise, schools cannot deny any child an education or keep a child out of class, except for disciplinary reasons. This community passed a One Billion Dollar bond issue this past November, to build new schools. Those inmates that are in the country illegaly, are to be deported upon completion of their sentence. They were all charged with possesion of illegaly obtained Social Security Cards and Identity Theft, as well as Illegal Entry into The United States. That puts the number of Americans with out health insurance to over 47 million. In an unrelated report, N.P.R. states that the number of Hispanic students that took the S.A.T. for college entrance rose by 22% between 2005 and 2006. 22%....Wow...where did they all come from ???
