Linkage, a Ridiculous Claim but Not Too Ridiculous for Tony Blair
2008-09-16 16:13:00 Tony Blair , a snake in the grass if there ever was one, has once again repeated the canard of linkage. This is a subtle, disinguenuous method of endangering Israel that is widespread in British and US State Department circles. It is one of the false but cynical ideas favored by Zbigniew Brzezinski, jimmy carter's national insecurity advisor, now a senior advisor to Obama --most likely Obama's most senior advisor. This idea or method is called "linkage," that is, that every bad thing that happens east of Suez is Israel's fault, and even many bad things happening west of Suez. And anyhow, world peace depends on "solving" --as in Final Solution?-- the Arab-Israeli conflict, which translates for the run of the mill diplomat into Israeli concessions of territory and Jewish rights. Did a Hidden Saudi Hand Help Obama Rise to Fame and Fortune?
2008-09-08 06:46:00 Percy Sutton, former president of Manhattan Borough [that is, Manhattan island, a separate borough within New York City], disclosed in a TV interview that he had written letters to influential persons at Harvard to help Obama get into the law school. Sutton had done this on the recommendation of one Khalid al-Mansour, a Muslim convert and --according to Sutton-- "the principal advisor to one of the world's richest men." Since al-Mansour's Saudi ties are known, it is quite possible or even likely that certain Saudis, in particular, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, helped Obama with money and with influence, or string-pulling in plain English.Here is a video of the interview. She said that troops would not be withdrawn from Iraq by a future President Obama until a review of policy weighing pros and cons of various measures regarding Iraq, consulting generals, and taking all significant factors into consideration had been conducted. Then the president and his advisors might decide to withdraw the troops or leave them or increase them. In any case, the troops would NOT be totally withdrawn.
