Here's some info I hope you'll find helpful...Back in January 1995 the Florida Constitution was amended to create a cap on rising property values which are used to calculate our Florida property taxes on homes and condos. I don't have a favorite team and don't know any of the standings - but I love fun and there's nothing better than good wholesome family fun to me. Fellow Active Rainer... I have been working on various Loca lism projects and loved Colleen Kulikowski post last week LOCALISM - Week In Review May 12-19, 2007 - it got me thinking that I would like to keep up with Featured Localism posts since I am always working to make my posts more effective for future, present and past clients that visit my blog, as well as Localism.So here's my question:How do you search to find Localism posts that have been "Featured"?  Am I missing something? It seems to me when I click on "Featured Posts" I get the Featured Active Rain posts - not Localism. It also seems that those are the only ones that are tracked on our points summary. Many of the Grovewood homeowners have a sign posted at their front door to prevent solicitors from contacting them. Grovewood is fortunate to have committed homeowners who volunteer regularly to keep the Grovewood entryway and common areas well maintained and appealing which helps this neighborhood keep it's home values on the rise.  Clearwater Florida Home Buyers I had something happen today in Clearwater, Florida that made my jaw drop and I just had to share it with you all.  It made we think about the extinction of Full  Service Gas Stations. How did it happen? When did it all start.....maybe it was when buyers no longer "valued" the extra service over price...we often discuss our services as Listing Agent, however today I'd ask that you answer wearing your Buyer's Agent hat?    We had a potential buyer today, we'll call him Bob. Bob was referred to us by one of our past Tampa Bay real estate clients - normal enough, right? So one of the first questions we ask Bob is, "Have you been pre-qualified for your mortgage?" What Bob said next made me drop my jaw...He said, "Yes, I was prequalified for a mortgage by "big national real estate company".
