MGM Mirage announced last month that it will partner with Anthony Marnell III in the development of M Resort , an 80 acre casino-resort on Las Vega s Boulevard about 10 miles south of Bellagio.The company has agreed to finance $160 million in the $1.8 billion project. The first phase of development will consist of 400 rooms and suites, a 100,000 square foot casino, 70,000 square foot evevts center and a spa. The estimated cost of the first phase is $700 million. Site work on the project is already underway, with construction work scheduled tp begin shortly.
