Apparently, the scheduled $20 Million project has turned into $40 Million due to "cost overruns", which I am unclear has to whether the Town of Gilbert is paying fully for those. They were to be splitting the cost of the complex with Big League Dreams . After the fourth year, they will be splitting revenues as well, expected to range from $500,000 to $1 Million annually.

go knock on the door of one of those houses in foreclosure. You'll figure it out in about 10 seconds how these people feel about selling their home. You'll be one of about 20 who have knocked on their door THAT DAY. It's MUCH tougher than you would think. If you enjoy being threatened, chased off a property, law suits thrown at you, then you found your calling. Not to mention all the ways the deal can go bad and backfire on you later. I see it happen all the time. Believe me, it's a tough and risky way to find deals.

've got some great information on large parcels of land about 20-30 miles NORTH of Rocky Point , Mexico. An acre of property in Rocky Point is typically selling for $200k or more, from what I'm told. These parcels average out to $60-75k/acre. An unlike Peurta Pinasco, these parcels have warm water, no undertoe, sandy beaches and are ready for tourist development.

Breaking news this late afternoon- the AZ Dept of Real Estate is going to perform an audit on RE/MAX 2000, as reported by azcentral.com. RE/MAX International is also interested in performing their own internal audit, but owner Robert Klein has yet to agree to that.

Apparently RE/MAX 2000 closed down on this past Friday, leaving 350 agents and 20 salaried employees without a job right before the holidays. 13 Offices closed its doors just 2 weeks after their company Christmas Party. One agent, quoted in the article, "did not see this coming".What a nice Holiday Gift for everyone, huh?

Judge Jerry orders the bailiff to handcuff Investor Bob and book him for Equity Stripping and Predatory Lending. He sets no bail and is currently awaiting sentencing. Investor Bob could be facing upwards of 10+ years in prison for his crimes, and the District Attorney is now researching every real estate transaction he has done to see if he can add in more counts of the same.
