2008-01-12 15:13:00 A News Herald article today examines the economic outlook for Panama City. According to Rick Harper, director of UWF’s Haas Center for Business Research and Economic Development: “The single best thing Panama City could do to attract high-wage jobs is get the airport project done as soon as possible.” In response the real estate market, Jan Cox - Bay County Association of Realtors’ president said “Overall, Panama City’s 2007 existing home and condominium sales numbers compared favorably to the rest of Florida”. Area condominium sales rose in every month of 2007, compared to the same months in 2006, according to the Florida Association of Realtors.
