Huntsville Metro Area Housing Market Report

As I'm sure the national media has made you very aware of, THE SKY IS FALLING!!!! Well, as related to the housing market. While it's very true that the national housing market is in a slump, that's not true for the ENTIRE nation, the Huntsville Metro Area being a shining example! There is a huge influx of people that are relocating to Huntsville, Alabama for the phenomenal job growth taking place. With major companies like Toyota, Boeing, TVA, NASA, Verizon, and many more having large corporate offices in the Huntsville Area, it's easy to see why there is so much growth. The biggest employer, though, hasn't even brought the biggest chunk of employees to the Tennessee Valley yet, The Redstone Arsenal. Because of the BRAC relocation taking place, but the end of 2010, there will have been approximately 6,000 new transfers to the Arsenal, with an equal amount, if not more, of contract companies. Hey! I'm sorry about some of the lack of updates the site has been getting. We're adding a ton of useful content, reports, statistics, and much more. I've installed a new search feature where you can search the entire MLS from a list of subdivisions, as well as a list of cities. I believe I have the only online system, other than valley mls, that let's you do that. We are still missing some photos, but we are in the process of adding A LOT right now. Within the next couple of days, they should all be there. Before long, this site will be the most comprehensive online real estate website in the Huntsville Metro Area, I PROMISE. I am working every day for that! This site has grown tremendously in the past year, and will only get bigger and better! I'll have more in the next few days!!!!!
