Last night Jim (my husband and Real Esate partner) went on a listing apt. in Gaithersburg Maryland. The seller decided to pick us to market his home. One of the reasons he chose us was because he was very connected to what the internet could do for him and he felt like we were very connected to it. Boy I didn't know how Unconnected we really were! After Jim went to bed I was playing on the internet and went to google...I put in "Realtor Ideas"...it led me to Active Rain. Each year our Broker puts us through a program called "The Real Challenge ". He calls it the Ironman of Real Estate. It is a program designed to help us as agents to increase our business. It is not an easy program. Each day you have daily tasks and goals. We have to account for our time and results at the end of the day to our Broker. It is a very long week. Each year as I participate in this program I am reminded of what I love about Real Estate. I love helping people. I love meeting new people.
