One of the main characteristics of the vacation home buyer is they are rarely ever in a hurry. We understand and very much agree with that. This is one of the reasons why we update our information consistently. The idea is not to urge, but to help Buyers make the best and informed decision possible whenever that time might come. Good information leads to a better understanding of value, and an informed decision is almost always better than a quick one. All of it packaged as “bad”, it was a headline blitzkrieg mixed with fact, assumption, projection, hyperbole and sensationalism. Amid the barrage, there is good information, and a lot of exaggeration that does not apply to South Lake Tahoe . Aaron Skywalker? using the Force at the top of Tahoe
2008-02-02 23:14:00 Lake Tahoe is a Great Place for a Family Reunion - Especially if You Live Here. It doesn’t get much better than this. That’s my son and his son at the top of Heavenly Mountain. Aaron is 15 months old, Chuck a bit more seasoned than that. Here Aaron is out on a walk. A sky walk. Looking back on crawling, it was pedestrian, for 3 months, Aaron is a big guy now. And he just added "uh-oh" and "what is it" to his extensive vocabulary of "ma-ma" and "dad." He also has a sound he makes that’s his take on a dog barking. (Ok, I’m over the top about my grandson… and I’m not looking back!) We Got Lake Tahoe Size Icicles? and We Will Have Snow Flowers.
2008-02-02 21:56:00 Lake Tahoe Has More Snow than we’ve Had in Some Time. We thought you might appreciate seeing one of the byproducts of our winter snow season. Yes, we’re talking icicles. And we’ve got a lot of them. Here is one about 20+ feet long behind our house, and the one on the other side is a lot longer. Every year we hope we’ll get one that reaches the ground from our roof, about 35 feet down, but it hasn’t happened yet. There’s about 4 feet of snow below it, and we’ve got another foot or two of snow predicted in the next few days.
