 Good news for homeowners! The homeowners exemption is going up again, this time to $100,938. It has had several recent increases, 2006 it was brought up to $75,000, 2007 it went to $89,325 and in 2008 it will be at $100,938. The law allows homeowners to exempt 50% of their homes assessed value up to the maximum which now will be $100,938.
