A psychic once told me
2011-09-06 09:00:00
…that by sharing my experiences I would be helping others. She also added that as I expanded my knowledge, that too should be shared for a greater good. So there you have it. A core reason why I write about almost anything. Continue reading →

An Introduction to Wise El
2011-09-02 10:00:00
The Wise El series is quirky rather than idiosyncratic, relying on El's expressions and actions in contrast to the words and challenging ideas. It should appeal to a wide audience, from those who love its freshness and clean lines, to the more intellectually and/or spiritually-inclined, including those of traditional faiths, as well as those who are not spiritually inclined at all, so the market is not confined. Artist’s Statement
2011-08-31 21:59:00
I am a self-taught, emergent artist. I paint as a form of spiritual communion, something that comes from deep within me. Paradoxically, though, making my art commercially viable has actually increased my creative output. Continue reading →
ACEOs and Miniature Motifs
2011-08-31 09:00:00
I am currently working on a series of small art. Some will be in ACEO format (2.5×3.5) and others will be slightly larger to a maximum of A4. While they are representational images, they will still fit within my metaphysical/spiritual … Continue reading →
What a nightmare of a day.

And continuing. BT?s local exchange finally gave up the ghost and I lost all connection ? though I still have telephone access. And that?s after enduring four days of its lingering death ? although I gather it?s due for resurrection again around 4pm. Estimated. Meanwhile, I may now have to bin going to doctors ...

So it?s not yeast-related , this skin complaint.
2011-08-25 20:53:00
Just as well I didn?t post the lengthy entry I wrote on yeast infections! That?s feedback, by the way, from the dermatologist, seen yesterday. Possibly a bit of yeast in the scalp, but it seems there are just dry inflamed patches or vesicles that are ?kind of eczema? in a skin that?s reasonably ...

So it’s not yeast-related, this skin complaint
2011-08-25 09:00:00
ust as well I didn't post the lengthy entry I wrote on yeast infections! That's feedback, by the way, from the dermatologist, seen yesterday. Possibly a bit of yeast in the scalp, but it seems there are just dry inflamed patches or vesicles that are 'kind of eczema' in a skin that's reasonably moisturised. Meaning, I guess, it doesn't quite fit the usual symptoms. Continue reading →

I like my skin colour.
2011-08-15 20:24:00
…Scrub that. I *love* my skin colour. My features might be flawed but I?ve never wanted to change my skin colour in any way, at any time. Till now. Age ? that crap human experience ? has created a brand new, unwanted, blemish (to go with the dry, itchy scalp and the vesicles which may ...

Trying to understand why and failing.
2011-08-10 00:58:00
…Why should having material possessions confer status or value on the ?dispossessed?? The only thing ?dispossessed? about such lowlifes is their mental deviance, their anti-social venality and their desire to pin the blame for their failings on everyone bar themselves. However humble, there are jobs. Money is still being thrown at education. There is a ...

Ignorance is bliss indeed.
2011-08-04 22:00:00
…Freedom of self-expression has rightly unleashed splendid waves of creativity. Unfortunately, there are also rather larger waves of verbal and physical baseness that I find rather frightening. I used to love wandering about and briefly interacting with the wider world. Now, far too many of the human species I read of, or see, have ...

Frightening myself silly
2011-07-25 00:06:00
…is not ideal for any afternoon, let alone a nice, lazy, sunny Sunday. But, taking the road less travelled ? ie paths (plural) in a dense wood (Angmering Park Estate) ? finding myself miles away from the natural returning point, and then being on the wrong side of a very busy A27, is how I ...

The Age of Aquarius
2011-07-04 16:27:00
.., say some astrologers, is a time of increasing compassion, tolerance and spiritual growth. Others opine it marks the beginning of the end of a given way of life, a time of perversity and rebellion. Given the depth of dubious changes in the last few years alone, I?m inclined to agree with the latter ? ...

Anyone purporting to be wise

Death is not always unwelcome, to some.

…One such was darling Catherine, a kindly neighbour who actively practised her Christian faith but never in a dull and preachy way. She had a minxy sense of humour which matched mine perfectly and I felt wonderfully comfortable with her. When I had that awful car crash in 2002, she used to ferry me to the ...

Microcosms and tolerance

The bacterial bad behaviour, undoubtedly due to menopausal fighting for territory, ...

…protest cuts have been threatening to distract focus this week. Atheism because there is talk of it being taught in schools. The long-term argument is that atheism is simply a rejection or non-belief in God.
