soul discord
2009-08-21 19:24:00 Fri 21: Compassion, mercy and forgiveness are hot topics at the moment. Caritas and forgiveness are divine qualities indicating an inherent and perhaps unconscious understanding of how we are all part of the same Great Big Soul Jigsaw. However, there are flaws to endless mercy as also evidenced recently in the media. If the lucky recipient of caritas does not ask for forgiveness, nor express regret, then the balance will be wrong. If they then go on to add more bile to the mix, post-forgiveness, the balance will continue to be out of sync. In the Great Big Soul Jigsaw, there would be pieces of darkness continuing to spoil the overall harmony - discordant energies which dim or blot out the light. I can only base this on personal experience and general observation but, in order to maintain balance and harmony, it would also be necessary to be constantly forgiving and giving. Now while that might be a fine biblical requirement, it would mean the negative situation is also kept regular...
cells within cells
2009-08-20 20:02:00 Thurs 20: For the last week, a number of metaphysical concepts have been popping into my head pre-sleep, which I can?t put into words or even untangle. As chance would have it, the BBC4 programme on the cell (last night) covered one element ? obviously from a scientific perspective. DNA, for example, may be the instruction ...
not invisible
2009-08-19 19:53:00 Wed 19: Took a moment to dry my hair in the breeze and enjoy the glories of nature on a particularly beautiful summer day.. till I saw my front garden again. Evidently it needs regular doses of weedkiller as some of the beggars are really huge. Perhaps they actually thrive on the stuff? Yesterday?s annoyance with ... More About: Invisible

holy anger
2009-08-17 21:15:00 Mon 17: What a strange day. Lovely sunshine. Lovely people in Chichester. Not so lovely behaviour re estate matters ? and, tragedy, Readers Digest has filed for bankruptcy. Readers Digest has always been a byword for optimism so it is almost a double blow. While out today, I bought a book for £18, spent £46 ... More About: Anger , Holy

2009-08-16 19:54:00 Sun 16: So gazillions of Brits are taking theirs hols in the UK and a million of them were in the queue for the ladies at Exeter Service Station yesterday. There was so much traffic on the roads that I decided to think lateral thoughts till I got to BC. One of the NandDs had already ... More About: Blessing
speak so silently
2009-08-13 19:37:00 Thurs 13: It is not always easy, possible or indeed advisable to share every emotion or event. Oddly, I also find it difficult to share mystical experiences including the times when communication with the divine is or seems very one-sided. It is said that God always replies. We just don?t often like the response. Sometimes the ... More About: Speak
masterly inaction
2009-08-11 21:35:00 Tues 11: My ?prophecy? cards are invariably accurate about ?issues?, and even money, although I await the real goodies with slightly diminishing bliss. Anyway, as it is still a Master Number day, and technical issues cropped up, several times, I think I spent the entire day with mental brakes on. Not very good for achieving ...
upsides
2009-08-10 20:24:00 Mon 10: Whoops. It?s a fine line between recounting life?s ups and downs as they occur and sounding like a moaning Minnie at best and being a reincarnation of Job at worst. Although it did all come right for Job in the end. Of the book, that is. There is no record of how life ...
reactions
2009-08-10 00:15:00 Sun 9: Despite exhaustion and eye eczema, I went out to buy USB drives to back up (again) the reclaimed art files (the other was for my books) and harvested lots of lovely potatoes from my vegetable planter. The eye eczema (the swollen eye of the other day) is a reaction to a beauty product. Sheesh. ...
bad and good
2009-08-08 22:36:00 Sat 8: The good news is that I downloaded Rescue and Recovery and backed up the missing information. I hope. The bad news is that it backed it up onto my arts disk without any warning ? wiping everything that was on there. The good news is that I have 99% of the information backed up ... More About: Good

2009-08-07 19:06:00 Fri 7: A plastic mug causing a clot on my leg, one swollen eye, de-cluttered laptop installation disks, an HP Officejet Pro no longer working but HP querying the warranty. crap day
2009-08-05 22:11:00 Wed 5: What a completely diabolical day for technology issues. No printer, inability to scan as the antivirus fails to execute, error messages re Bluetooth. 2009-08-04 19:34:00 Tues 4: Money, as a spiritual precept, is something I have mixed views about. Many modern self-help writers aver that we earn in direct relation to the service we provide. That is patently untrue with senior ... More About: Tech
cell re-write
2009-08-02 18:56:00 Sun 2: My particular view of cellular intelligence as a core spiritual precept is unlikely to change in the foreseeable future, although I do, of course, retain an open mind. So the issue of dying, assisted or otherwise, intrigues. I believe all cells retain memories and patterns which can be changed or erased. When we die, ... More About: Cell , Write
the wrongs of rights
2009-08-01 20:35:00 Sat 1: Logging notes for Wise El?s Book of Big Thoughts yesterday, I got caught up in Objectivism and then Ayn Rand?s views on ?rights?. She held that no-one had a right to a house, for example. Tell that to those who manage our public money and rules. Migrants can head here in ever-increasing numbers, ... More About: Rights
taxing times
2009-07-30 19:40:00 Thurs 30: Learning is a great way to keep the little grey cells finely tuned. 2009-07-27 23:14:00 Mon 27: If someone fights for our country, they do deserve equal pay rights. I also think old soldiers should get help with their health in later life. learning from Thomas Alva
2009-07-26 20:26:00 Sun 26: Paraphrasing Edison, the art fair was not a failure but an excellent opportunity to discover better ways to achieve the same ends. Although, unlike Edison, finding even one more way, let alone 10,000, that does NOT work might not go down too well with my self-esteem. Also on the plus side was meeting interesting ... 2009-07-25 21:30:00 Sat 25: Happiness is having my art back on the walls again. There is an almost personally reassuring energy that emanates from them that comforts me greatly. art challenges
2009-07-24 19:45:00 Fri 24: Luckily I can find something positive in most situations so, despite a few setbacks with the art fair, I still think something good is going to result in time. Naturally, right NOW, I feel a bit flattened. And cross. Mother Nature is not helping either, with truly disgusting weather. And more is promised for ...

2009-07-21 20:41:00 Tues 21: Shoe lovers are going to be happy this week. I am donating several pairs to charity, as I work barefoot and my social life is fairly non-existent.
