I've decided
2007-08-18 04:10:00 No more ink! I should be & can be happy with what I have. ;) Rose,I am reposting your comment here because I deleted the post about the Tattoo I was going to get & your comment was on it. DUH! That was rather dumb on my part. :( I'm sorry! To the Lady at RFH-My daughters have taken Irish dance for many years now and I have really learned so much about the ancient celts. Every feis seems to have the celtic knot jewelry and the meaning behind some of the most beautiful carvings. I really like the tatoo you are going to get of Saint Brigid "the bride". I have read so many books about the celts-pronounced with a hard c-so many people sait with a soft c and I just have to correct them. I remember from my college days that the celts were from Brittania and also France. When Julius Caesar fought Vercinix-Vercingetorix-i can't remember the spelling-I think they were in Gaul-France-it took 10 years to defeat the celts-well anyway I'm sure you don't want me to keep rambling on about... Pool & S
2007-08-14 01:13:00 Instead of going to the park for a nature walk & play the 3 maidens, S, & I decided to go swimming at the neighborhood parks pool. The pool is right across the street from where we grew up. I always went there as a kid. I also took the 3 maidens when they were real little & then when they got older as well. We left at 1 p.m. & got home at 5:30 p.m. I quick whipped up my turkey loaf & popped it in the oven for an hour. My tater salad & cole slaw is already done from yesterday & today. ;)It looks as though S UnicornMoons best friend will be staying with us until Sat night. :) Have a great night readers!Save the children. How To Declutter
2007-08-13 03:49:00 This is how I declutter:Get into the mindset that you are decluttering your life to simplify itMake up your mind that you are going to give these items to charity OR call a friend or relative & tell them you are planning to declutter. If they volunteer to help take them up on it because it's more fun & easier to do it together. Remember the buddy system? This would apply! Also you may ask them if they could benefit from your tossed items if they want them. Otherwise just take them to your local charity OR thrift store.Grab some garbage bags or boxesGrab a fav drink. No alcohol. Simply because you want to be clear headed when decluttering. While alcohol yes may relax you but you don't want to be too relaxed & you also need to be focused on the task at hand. I know this may sound funny to some but it's quite true.Pick a room. I always start with my bedroom & tackle the closet first then the dresser. The old rule applies here & you've heard this one before: if you haven't ... More About: Clutter

2007-08-13 01:17:00 Your comments made me smile. :) Your comment here is half the reason I decluttered the books:When I read Acts of the Apostles I also felt led to get rid of some of my books that seemed to contradict what Jesus is telling us in His word. TY! :)The other half was I found that I really didn't "need" them anymore! Not because they were taking up space. They weren't but because I felt I outgrew them. They were like a crutch. I can't explain it. I'm happy that you enjoy my blog. :D Good to see you comment & I hope you will again! Save the children. Teach them at home. More About: Rose
Take the decluttering challenge
2007-08-13 01:08:00 First off forgive me for the structure of this post. I have a lot to say here. I am trying to word it in the way that I would say it you (the readers) in real life. ;)Join me & Kitkat as we declutter to simplify our lives. You can do it! It's not hard & it's not scary. Although to some it can be. I understand. Take baby steps or go for the gusto & TOSS I say TOSS the unwanted clutter from your life! The time is NOW. Star t right now or next week.Let me know who is game. Leave me a cosmic vibe here on my blog please. The more the merrier & the less stressful it can & will be. The buddy system applies here my dear readers. :) I also recommend having your children help you. They are great supporters! Mine are really good at being supportive & helping. Also you may have them declutter their rooms too. If they see Mama doing it they will follow suit. Plus they are learning how to simplify from YOU. VERY important.Just fit in a time when you are able to do ... More About: Moon , Challenge , Teri , The D

Hunter is going to work on his trains again in the basement. :) He has 3 main hobbies: huntingriding(our HD Sportster)trainsWe do things as a family but also with the 3 maidens or at times alone. I'm back, decluttering, MoonWolf
2007-08-10 20:36:00 I wanted to blog this...I am very organized & I am not a pack rat. I declutter all year round. :) Yesterday I decided to declutter:in my closet & my dresser drawers in my bedroom(2 bags)in the upstairs bathroom I went through all the pony tail bands & headbands Moon Wolf & I had. I only kept what we needed.MoonWolfs bedroom dresser drawers of clothes for spring/summer & fall/winter(got rid of the clothes that are not fitting properly anymore. 2 bags)in the kitchen I got rid of all the extra incense & tea candles(I only kept the incense sticks & cones that I really liked & burned often. I went through the many tea candles I had which were non soy tea candles-I already have 2 big soy candles & plan on buying more soy candles when they are needed.) As I was going through MoonWolfs dresser drawers & was having her try on skirts, dresses, jeans, pants, & shirts, I asked her if she wanted to just wear dresses & skirts from now on. She got all excited & said YES! I ... More About: Back , Teri , Erin

My Bible versions
2007-08-08 21:01:00 I am so happy that I found this NLT Bible (New Living Translation) version. It is so much easier to read & understand. ;) I have the following Bible versions:Revised Standard Version , Catholic EditionNLT Bible (New Living Translation)KJV Study BibleNIV BibleNLT Bible (New Living Translation) Version Information The goal of any Bible translation is to convey the meaning of the ancient Hebrew and Greek texts as accurately as possible to the modern reader. The New Living Translation is based on the most recent scholarship in the theory of translation. The challenge for the translators was to create a text that would make the same impact in the life of modern readers that the original text had for the original readers. In the New Living Translation, this is accomplished by translating entire thoughts (rather than just words) into natural, everyday English. The end result is a translation that is easy to read and understand and that accurately communicates the meaning of the original...
