By: {Marci} One evening awhile back i was chatting with Dev. His words were flowing like a poem so i started writing them down,with his permission i would like to share them. Where am I ? this space on an online chatroom and also in my chair and also in a different headspace. I am also where my memories are I am everywhere but here. So where am i? As soon as i think i am here then i am not I wonder where i am not and then maybe i will find where i am but then everywhere i look i see me a reflection of me when the suns smiles or when i look at my friends or when i merely see or hear or touch anything. so where am i ? I thought this is very deep thinking and it really gets me thinking about where are we really ? Is life a dream or reality ? Are we really here or just asleep ? Love to all and thank you Dev for letting me share.

Have you thought what it would be like to wake up one morning to find that your sight had gone from you. What would you do, rail against the fates, call out in despair to what you always saw as a benevolent god who watched over you and protected you, and sink into an oblivion of apathy and despair. Or would you see this as an opportunity to really start to see the world with all your senses. It takes a very brave person to do this, I often wonder if I could be courageous enough to cope with this if it ever happened to me. We are surrounded by sights, sounds and smells that bombard the senses. Close your eyes and listen, what do you hear, in the silence of your blindness!! How hard is it to say hello to the next door neighbour, or hold the shop door open for the next person. How difficult is it, to spare some time to help others in need. How difficult is it, just to be friendly to your follow man as you make your way through the day. Love is not difficult, to love one and all is easy. To pass through life not being loving and friendly is far more difficult. What do you really achieve by the end of each day, not being welcoming towards your fellow travelers of life. You only feel lonely and detached from the world. So from tomorrow on your journey of life, love one and all. And you will see the love you receive back and the joy that fills your heart, will far outweigh anything else.

For the heart is what keeps his rhythmic balance within this world, every beat is like the sound of a distant drum keeping it's people as one as they march forwards. Everyone needs to keep in time with the beat of their own inner drum, every step you make should follow to the beat of your heart. Follow the path that you have laid, not what others tell you to do. How can you keep pace in precision with someone else, it is near impossible. You can only keep pace with the drum inside, the heart that is yours, the heart that governs your destiny. Mistakes are made by not following your own beat, or by following the pace of someone else, you will falter to keep up with what they do. As it is not for you. You may walk to a similar pace as others, but your pace is unique within this life. Follow your heart and you will live within the melody of life.

Well I just thought I would post this link and passage to this site about lost animals, it is so moving and beautiful and I think it is a fitting remembrance for all those, including myself, that have lost beloved pets. Here it is, hope you found it heartening - Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge . When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge . There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. By: {Leon} So many tragedies are caused by people who claim to work for good, and yet can not respond reasonably when faced with a minor offense or injustice! they want to do good, but at the slightest provocation they create interminable conflict. Most wars originate as minuscule incidents which, because they were not dealt with right away, deteriorate. We know this, but do we draw lessons for the future? Do we ask ourselves: " If I adopt a certain attitude, if I make a certain decision, will my contribution improve matters or complicate them further?" I was surprised about how much information was available about them, plus in this modern technological age we live in, did not expect to discover how much Amulets and Talisman's were still used today.
