I've always had a hard time reading some of the court cards. The Page s and Queens seem to give me the most trouble. Today I would like to focus on the Page of cups. I interpret the Page cards to have the personality and characteristics of a teenager entering adulthood. The Page could be someone you know or highlight aspects of your own behavior. He usually arrives in a reading as a messenger bringing great news. The Page carries with him the main characteristics of his suit with a child like quality. Don't let the Page fool you , he may be unsure of himself from time to time but he has the strength, courage and enthusiasm to live up to any task. I read the Page of cups as a card of intuition and imagination. He sometimes brings messages from the subconcious. O.K. from now on when the Five Of Penta cles shows up in a personal reading I am going to post it immediately to this blog. If you go back to the October readings, when the Five Of Pentacles showed up we got hit with a major storm. Last night I did a past, present and future reading and again the Five Of Pentacles showed up in the future position. This was the same position it showed up in the last time in the exact same type of spread. Once again a major storm is forecasted for this area. I am preparing for the worst. The last time this card showed up in this position we got slammed with a storm that knocked out power to over 300,000 people. In the Rider - Waite deck the Five Of Pentacles shows two homeless people trudging through the snow. Now I always read the Five Of Pentacles as a card of financial ruin, or at least in it's upright position a fear of financial loss. Happy Thanksgiving :) I hope everyone has an abundant feast for their holiday. Thanksgiving is that one day we give thanks for everything we have. Although we should always be grateful to Spirit, God or whatever you want to call your higher power, we often take our abundance and good fortune for granted. On this day we give thanks for blessings both big and small. We can appreciate a family meal, good conversation, good food, wine & beer, football, the new flat screen TV and all the other wonderful things in our lives. I thought it would be nice to go through the cards and pick out the ones that remind me the most of this holiday. So here we go.... The Wheel Of Fortune brings success, abundance and good fortune into our lives. We should always be thankful for a positive turn of the wheel. There are lots of sites that do internet readings on there websites. One of my favorites is BYZANT.COM.This site has a pretty good online tarot program that gives free readings. I originally started playing around with online readings as a way to help me learn card interpretations. Its also a good way to learn some different types of spreads. I found byzant.com to be easy to use, have good interpretations of the cards, and they have a number of different spreads to choose from. Are online readings accurate? To some degree they must be. If we look at a random number generator the same way we look at shuffling the cards there must be some type of accuracy in the cards selected. If you focus on your question and press the read button to cut the cards it technicly is the same thing. Is it as accurate as a human reading?
