A lone figure approached us, and as we converged, we struck up an easy conversation. She felt like an old friend. It wasn’t long before we had made plans for a campfire beach dinner of local fish, rice and fruit. It was her birthday, so we offered to provide an impromptu concert after dinner to help celebrate. It was a wonderful evening.
