Understanding biblical words correctly helps us "see"
2008-04-20 22:32:00 In Luke 11:34 we are told,"the eye is the lamp of your body; when your eye is clear, your whole body also is full of light; but when it is bad, your body also is full of darkness”. In Proverbs 20:27 we learn “the spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord, Searching all the innermost parts of his being”. In Psalm 143:4 “Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate”. The biblical uses of these words LAMP, HEART and EYE help give us insight into the scriptures by revealing how the nature or state of the human spirit is directly responsible for the health of the body. When the spirit of the body is in a state of wholeness, perfection or incorruption, it is also HOLY and consequently is open and clear. When darkness through indwelling sin engulfs the spirit, it in turn becomes “bad” and so the body also becomes “bad” and loses it's vitality. The meaning here, is in no way parabolic, but is simply lost in translation because Christians take ... More About: Words , Biblical , Understanding
Once saved always saved: Are we really saved at all?
2008-03-21 21:10:00 Church doctrine claims salvation when you leave sinful ways and accept Christ into your heart by faith. This nefarious teaching implies that the point of salvation occurs on repentance.Rubbish, the biblical interpretation expresses a more profound truth where salvation is the prize awarded to the believer who submits to God then walks in faith culminating in perfected holiness or righteousness. Only those who stand firm to the end will be saved. The end in question, is of course the end result of a person's faith journey.Believers mistakenly understand that the good works spoken of in the bible to be the alms or mitzvahs done to help the poor and destitute. Amongst these are charity, hospitality and tithing. These works are all well and good, but do they represent the acts which make men justified before God? Of course not, because they don't build up a level of faith sufficient to endure the fiery trial of testing. The New Testament warns us that believers stumble over the rock i...
True forgiveness results in holiness
2008-03-12 10:45:00 It's not a weird thing to begin questioning the state of your spirit. Rather, it reflects a maturity and a willingness to open up to the Holy spirit for self-examination. Certainly it demonstrates a refreshingly humble and teachable attitude, so deficient in the hopeless, hardened souls around us . This desire to know where we are on the impurity scale, allows the Holy spirit to shine it's light inside each of us, illuminating the darkness within and proving that we really are willing to undergo transformation. Exposing our sins to the light, reveals that we are ready and willing to move out of bondage and into freedom. While repentance is the foundation for deliverance, it is wrongly associated with being forgiven for past sins which contradicts the “forgiveness of sins” in the biblical sense. God is always patiently ready to forgive our past transgressions, but it does not guarantee that we are immediately cleansed of all sins (saved). Saying sorry to God is only the first ... Reverse Speech - Can it give us insight into the divine mystery?
2008-03-10 15:12:00 This video reveals the pioneering work of Australian, David John Oates in his quest to probe and explore the secrets of human spirituality. Http://reversespeech.com/home.htm Although this therapy is no longer cutting edge, I believe that it could be beneficial in pinpointing the issues which are affecting a person. I am convinced that in the future we will begin to make astounding discoveries in this field, allowing us to unlock the resources inside each of us. The subliminal messages sent out by the inner man back up the findings of Shakuntala Modi in her book “Remarkable Healings”. They reveal the eternal wisdom and truths of the subconscious mind (spirit), which constantly serves us day after day, guiding us heavenward and into the arms of love, bliss and eternal life. In Revelation we are told that those who overcome, will be given the immortality of angels and will “go no more out” from heaven. It verifies the warnings from scripture, that sins lead to misery and dea... More About: Insight , Mystery , Give , Divine , Speech
What does it really mean to be “in Christ”
2008-03-06 15:53:00 The majority of Christians erroneously assume that they are “in Christ”, but the reality is very different. To be “in Christ” is is not guaranteed by prayer or scripture reading. In John 5:39 we are told, “You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life.” The truth is disclosed by the words “unwilling to come to me”. Most believers automatically assume that they are with Christ but they do not consider that in order to be with Christ, or in him, they first have to “be where he is”. Where is Christ? Well, he is a spirit dwelling in heaven surely. In order to truly be “in him”, we have to find out what work we have to do in order to get our spirits into the place where he lives. Salvation is a free gift which awaits our overcoming in order to receive it. For the holy apostles, being “in Christ” meant that they also were able to...
We have abandoned our first love
2008-03-04 20:30:00 In these latter times we are struggling through, the interpretation of our spiritual communion has become so badly twisted that many people still believe that they can obtain forgiveness for sins by attending church services once a week. I spoke to a friend yesterday who mentioned that this was his primary reason for going and that it made him feel much better. As he was telling me this story he lit up another cigarette and then sat back in his chair with his arms folded in defensive body language. This is really an illustration of the pitiful state of Christianity right now. What we have is a bastardized & corrupted form of worship where the believers are so brainwashed by perpetuated lies and hypocrisy that they really miss the whole point of a personal, daily, committed relationship to the Lord. Week after week they filter into church and go back to their homes having learned very little about what their faith is supposed to be all about. The spiritual essence of inward C... Exorcism and “casting out” are ineffective because they are not perform
2008-02-29 17:47:00 These two traditional and widely used methods provide only short-term relief for those who are chronically ill due to spiritual oppression. This is as a result of two things: The first is a buildup of bondage around the soul which provides the “nest” which spirits require in order to dwell inside the major body cavities and second, penetration into these spaces occur when sins have stacked up sufficiently, creating dark access points which allow spirits to enter. Some people will experience cranial penetration which brings with it neck stiffness, headaches, migraines and feelings of heaviness in the head. Very often the afflicted person will suffer from vivid and colourful dreams, hallucinations, psychic breaks, auditory noises and voices in the head and delusional visions which are presented both at night or during the day. Demonic penetration into the abdominal cavity creates a feeling of bloating which is likely to be medically diagnosed as IBS, spastic colon including a... More About: Exorcism , Perform
Why are some healed by God, but not others?
2008-02-04 21:12:00 In Christian circles, there are believers who seem to think that God chooses to heal some people and not others. Personally I don't believe God chooses to heal one person above another. My feelings are based on many verses in the bible which speak clearly of God's impartiality in judgment. We are told in Col 3:25, “for the wrongdoer shall be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality”.We are all equal before God and there are no favourites. All are fallen, because all have sinned. In fulfilment of Isaiah's prophecy outlined in Matt 13:14, we are told that we hear, but never understand, see but never perceive. Our hearts have become calloused and so can't understand. The hardened heart I believe is the primary reason why we don't “turn” or come to repentance soon enough. Few people are able to really open up to God because they feel stupid doing it. This is especially true for men. Some cannot cry, while others are not used to connecting with their...
Let's stop hearing the message and start doing it
2008-02-02 20:47:00 Submission to the will of God is no easy thing. Usually it requires a complete crushing of the outer man, so that the inner man cries out and reaches out to God in despair and hopelessness. Why does it have to be that way? Stubbornness, hard-heartedness, refusal to comprehend and accept the fullness of the truth. The world is in a mess, because people keep hearing the Word, but not doing what it says. One thing which amazes me to this day, is how I ever developed the courage and inner strength to begin this war. One morning I just woke up and said, “I can do this”. I must tell you that it took fours for God to bring me to that thought. Lately I have been inspired by the philosophy of Walter Russell. He states that man's power is limited to THINKING and ACTING. Personally, I feel that the only power we have is the power to CHOOSE. We can make a good choice, or a bad one. The world is a place which has been designed by Satan to prevent men from THINKING. A man's vision is dulled... More About: Start , Message , Stop , Hearing , The Message
Initiation by tribulation
2008-02-02 19:13:00 An important concept not being recognized by the church is Christ's temptation in the wilderness. Christians are understanding it literally, when in fact it symbolizes the a rite of passage for the brothers and sisters who are predestined for Glory, the children of promise. This temptation is to do with a 'season' which has to be lived out by those who share in the heavenly calling. Temptation by sin(the devil) is actually to do with testing, being tried, or proven by sin(the devil), which more accurately reflects the word used in those times. The number 40 appears throughout the scriptures and signifies this generation and times of testing. It rained 40 days during the flood. Moses spent 40 years in the desert and Jesus was 40 days in the wilderness undergoing a period or probation, discipline or quarantine. In Deuteronomy 8:2, “and thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord the God led thee these 40 years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what ... More About: Tribulation
More dream discernement
2008-02-01 12:01:00 The means by which Satan strengthens his “grip” or hold upon the human spirit is by adding layers of spiritual darkness using dreams as the method of delivery. Although Satan's primary goal is destruction of life, as a spiritual being, he uses his God given creativity to invent new and improved ways of inflicting human suffering. By skillfully and creatively using dreams, layers of darkness are added until the poor soul is completely encased in a prison consisting of thousands upon thousands of these layers, between which is sandwiched a similar multitude of darkened spirits. By using the experiences of the waking day, Satan cleverly weaves these into themes which do not spark any serious investigation on the part of the dreamer. By their seeming randomness, the majority of people simply fob them off as the workings of a stressed out mind. When trying to determine the extend of ones progress in deliverance, a person should ask, “how have layers and evil spirits been woven a... More About: Dream
New light on traditional thinking
2008-01-30 16:55:00 Current dream analysis, founded on the theories and observational research of Freud and his students, attempts to explain how the subconscious mind processes information and experiences from waking reality during the sleep cycle. Via the analysis of dream characters, symbols and themes, “the royal road to the unconscious” provides insights into the psyche's repressed thoughts and feelings. From my own observations using prayer, I would like to state that the real value of dream interpretation, is that it provides insight into the nature of evil spirits improving the discernment necessary for effective deliverance. I can honestly say that attempting to interpret the dreams you are currently experiencing, in a Freudian sense, easily provides evil spirits with the “grounds” necessary for increasing their oppressive hold , leading to deteriorating spiritual, mental and eventually physical health. You can also see how the “shadow”, or dark aspect of self, put forward by tran... More About: Light , Thinking , Traditional
Human energy system as background for dreams
2008-01-26 08:02:00 I would like to discuss this topic before launching into the nitty gritty of dreams and dream deception. I have been struggling to find a way of putting forward this information, as it tends to upset some Christians, who believe that it might compromise their faith. Key here, is the knowlede of “energy centres” which is put forward by Shakuntala Modi in “remarkable healings”. This information is rooted in the biblical teaching, which suggests that the human spirit is created by God from light, which is a spiritual substance in infinite universal supply. Historically, this energy has been called orgone, chi, prana and life-force energy. The human spirit dwells in a place where “light” is the medium through which all spirits exist and move. The spiritual realm, or supernatural realm, is a realm of light. While the bulk of the light exists with God in heaven, a smaller amount of light exists with Satan and his fallen ones. Every evil spirit was once a good spirit which fel... More About: Dreams , System , Energy , Human , Background
Work of the Holy Spirit vs the work of Satan
2008-01-25 10:46:00 The work of the Holy Spirit seeks to liberate the human soul from the slavery of spiritual bondage, leading to physical death. In reality this “freedom” is a spiritual, inner freedom, which is expressed in the physical senses by restful sleep, mental clarity, emotional well-being and a feeling of “lightness”. The finished work of the Holy spirit is the restoration of each human spirit/soul to a state of Holiness, this being the original condition of the human spirit at birth. Each soul is born Holy in a “risen” state, but “falls” into captivity resulting from spiritual apathy and engaging in sinful activities. By the eventual return of the spirit to this redemptive, justified state, the inner man is released into the “wide-open spaces” of the heavenly realms where it can enjoy the peace, joy, bliss and fellowship of the Holy angels, including the Lord. The actual vehicle, or “body” for praise and worship, is the human spirit. In other words, the spiritual bod... More About: Satan , Work
Dangers after "switching" and 4:30am
2008-01-23 12:35:00 Today I will explain the possible danger which creeps in after you have discerned an attack and spoken out no.1 and are getting ready to drift off back to sleep. As I mentioned in earlier posts, evil spirits will cause interference and hinder your daily deliverance, where they can. However, if you don't give them "grounds", you make it impossible for them. Essentially once you have refused an attack, you enable your spirit to break through a series of dark layers which were applied during the attack.Of course if you spot the attack as soon as it happens, good for you, your "switch" will be easier and you won't be hindered as much. If you do miss an attack and only discern it a number of dreams later, you can still "switch" only the delay in your recognizing the attack, will enable Satan to apply a number of layers more. This will make your "switch" trickier, because in this extra layering, lie a new batch of spirits. They only way they can increase their numbers successfully, is b... More About: Switching
How to stand each day
2008-01-22 21:06:00 Here is a brief look at what we should be doing on a daily basis. It's a bit much to take in initially, but after a while you will remember and distinctively know what to do and how to react to various dreams. You daily foundation: I Protection and healing prayer said before bedtime. II Reading of NT scripture each night before bed (about 4-8) Your nightly resistance: III Verbal refusals when you wake up in the night after each dream sequence. (no.2, or no.1 if you discern an attack) IV What do immediately after a “switch” and how to stop evil spirit obtaining “grounds” at 4:30am V Discerning the movements of your spirit, detecting attacks, understanding how to detect an attack if you miss it initially. Dealing with vibration, unusual experiences. How to monitor progress (living by your spiritual sense) I will discuss IV and V in more detail in my next posts More About: Stand
Understanding refusal
2008-01-21 20:47:00 In my previous postings I briefly mentioned that you need two verbal refusals. Penn-Lewis outlines a number of refusals which you can try. I have whittled them down to two. Here are the refusals to use: 1. “I refuse this attack, the grounds for it and I trust God to destroy it”.(To thwart a deceptive attack when it happens) 2. “I revoke all consent given knowingly or unknowingly to evil spirits and I insist they retire from the place they have taken by deceipt. I refuse their authority, power, claims & influence in or upon me. (To keep your spirit advancing after you have used no.1, or at any other time) This sounds very long-winded and confusing initially, but what actually happens is that for most of the night, your waking up will require the use of no.2. Essentially no.2 will be the refusal you use most often. You will only have to use no.1 when you spot an attack. The no.1 refusal defuses the attack, you go back to sleep and the next time you wake up, you simpl... More About: Understanding
Why it's so important to keep your sword sharp
2008-01-21 06:50:00 At this point I would like to reinforce what I mentioned about the nightly necessity of NT scripture reading. For the ability to stand daily in your deliverance and have the inner strength to do so, the scriptures work to energize the spirit by unblocking the outlet of the spirit into the body. This is something that needs an in depth understanding, because when you understand it, you are also able to tell exactly how much reading you have to do each night and you will understand exactly why you need to read. I use a metaphor to illustrate just how the scriptures work to keep the spirit in fighting shape. If you think of a candle with a wick, then you can compare the flame which burns on the wick to your spirit. If the wick is tall and straight, then the flame can burn and dance on the end of it.If the wick falls onto it's side and into the wax, very soon the flame will sputter and go out. Using the candle as an example, what the evil spirits do, is try and pull down the wick of... More About: Sharp , Sword
3rd phase of warfare – Resistance
2008-01-20 05:56:00 The 3rd phase of spiritual warfare encompasses resistance. Although the bible says “resist the Devil and he will flee” it is virtually impossible to fully understand how one is to do this on a daily basis without reading around the subject. Keeping yourself free from temptations is not the resistance that is meant in the biblical sense, although it is the first step in keeping yourself daily in right-standing with the Lord. The resisting that you will be doing, is more to do with the spiritual aspect of the warfare. It's actually to do with how you “wrestle” and fight with the spirits that come against you in the dreamscapes that you will encounter. Penn-Lewis says that we resist by refusing the dreams that the Devil gives us. That means we accept none of the dreams or nocturnal experiences we have. As soon as the believer becomes born again by the scripture and prayer, the Devil begins active warfare against that soul. He wages war using dreams. The reason why he is so s... Deliverance knowledge base and initial phases
2008-01-18 08:57:00 The spiritual warfare leading to deliverance and subsequent salvation is not something that must be entered into lightly. Speaking for myself, it took a good two years of careful thought, which was combined with a real sense of urgency, brought about by a feeling that I was slowly fading away. I think I might have said this in another posting, but I'll say it again....death and the prospect of dying, is a great motivator! Before I entered into the battle, I first had to have a very good theoretical knowledge of what exactly I would be dealing with. What you will be getting to grips with when you begin your journey, are the day to day manifestations and machinations of demons and evil spirits, plain and simple. Most of my theoretical “knowledge” and insight into the inner workings of these entities came from the books “Remarkable Healings” by Shakuntala Modi and also “Secrets of Spiritual Warfare” by Jessie Penn Lewis. Both will be invaluable handbooks and will help yo... More About: Knowledge , Base
Deliverance – The ultimate endurance test
2007-12-29 11:06:00 I was recently reflecting on the different types of tests we face as human beings. There are certainly a wide variety of challenges that we must overcome in each lifetime. Some souls are going through financial difficulties, others must find food everyday. Many people are getting over a divorce, or the death of a loved one, while there are some people who are incarcerated for crimes they never committed and are sitting out long sentences. While there are people who are out there bringing the challenges upon themselves through sporting endevours, it seems that the majority are simply the victims of fate, time and circumstance. I consider myself to be of the second category. Some of the tests involving hardship and suffering occur when things are going well for us, while at other times, they happen to us just when we think things can't get any worse. I was trying to help a friend out recently by giving her more understanding on just what she has to commit herself to if she wa... More About: Test , Ultimate , Endurance

Allegories & parables which point to spiritual deliverance
2007-12-18 20:20:00 An allegory is a story that has two levels of meaning: the obvious, literal one and an underlying symbolic, figurative meaning. Both levels are important, but those with wisdom are able to see what is presented and hear the message. Why did Jesus use them? In Matthew 13, the disciples asked this same question of Jesus in verse 10. He answered, “The knowledge of the secrets of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. This is why I speak in parables, ‘Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand’” (Mat. 13:11,13).The literal story of Abraham tells of the 'chosen race' oppressed and in slavery to an evil ruler in a foreign country (a land not their own).A man with a calling is chosen by God to order the wicked Pharoah to release the Israelites (Children of God). Some interesting things about prayer
More articles from this author:2007-10-04 11:21:00 In case you were wondering, prayer is something that has to be done daily in the Christian life. There can be no other way around it and it is the gateway to the spiritual life. With the commencement of the prayer life, your experience a spiritual re-birth and so are born again(of your spirit). When your prayer life dries up your spirit becomes dormant after a short space of time. You cannot stay born-again if you quit the spiritual life. It is especially imperative to understand why prayer must be done nightly. Each time a man goes to sleep, he enters the spiritual realm. He is no longer in flesh, but in spirit. Because of the dangers which lurk in the spiritual realm, it is vital that he enter with a prayer covering that requests protection and healing/deliverance. We must pray daily because each night we enter the spiritual realm and need God's protection. Why would you want to protect yourself on one occasion and not another. You have to understand also that your prayers do... More About: Interesting , Prayer , Things 1, 2, 3 |
