Understanding biblical words correctly helps us "see"

In Luke 11:34 we are told,"the eye is the lamp of your body; when your eye is clear, your whole body also is full of light; but when it is bad, your body also is full of darkness”. In Proverbs 20:27 we learn “the spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord, Searching all the innermost parts of his being”. In Psalm 143:4 “Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate”. The biblical uses of these words LAMP, HEART and EYE help give us insight into the scriptures by revealing how the nature or state of the human spirit is directly responsible for the health of the body. When the spirit of the body is in a state of wholeness, perfection or incorruption, it is also HOLY and consequently is open and clear. When darkness through indwelling sin engulfs the spirit, it in turn becomes “bad” and so the body also becomes “bad” and loses it's vitality. Church doctrine claims salvation when you leave sinful ways and accept Christ into your heart by faith. This nefarious teaching implies that the point of salvation occurs on repentance.Rubbish, the biblical interpretation expresses a more profound truth where salvation is the prize awarded to the believer who submits to God then walks in faith culminating in perfected holiness or righteousness. Only those who stand firm to the end will be saved. True forgiveness results in holiness

It's not a weird thing to begin questioning the state of your spirit. Rather, it reflects a maturity and a willingness to open up to the Holy spirit for self-examination. Certainly it demonstrates a refreshingly humble and teachable attitude, so deficient in the hopeless, hardened souls around us . This desire to know where we are on the impurity scale, allows the Holy spirit to shine it's light inside each of us, illuminating the darkness within and proving that we really are willing to undergo transformation. Exposing our sins to the light, reveals that we are ready and willing to move out of bondage and into freedom. While repentance is the foundation for deliverance, it is wrongly associated with being forgiven for past sins which contradicts the “forgiveness of sins” in the biblical sense. What does it really mean to be “in Christ”

The majority of Christians erroneously assume that they are “in Christ”, but the reality is very different. To be “in Christ” is is not guaranteed by prayer or scripture reading. In John 5:39 we are told, “You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life.” The truth is disclosed by the words “unwilling to come to me”. Most believers automatically assume that they are with Christ but they do not consider that in order to be with Christ, or in him, they first have to “be where he is”. Where is Christ? In these latter times we are struggling through, the interpretation of our spiritual communion has become so badly twisted that many people still believe that they can obtain forgiveness for sins by attending church services once a week. I spoke to a friend yesterday who mentioned that this was his primary reason for going and that it made him feel much better. As he was telling me this story he lit up another cigarette and then sat back in his chair with his arms folded in defensive body language. In Christian circles, there are believers who seem to think that God chooses to heal some people and not others. Personally I don't believe God chooses to heal one person above another. My feelings are based on many verses in the bible which speak clearly of God's impartiality in judgment. We are told in Col 3:25, “for the wrongdoer shall be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality”.We are all equal before God and there are no favourites. Dangers after "switching" and 4:30am

Today I will explain the possible danger which creeps in after you have discerned an attack and spoken out no.1 and are getting ready to drift off back to sleep. As I mentioned in earlier posts, evil spirits will cause interference and hinder your daily deliverance, where they can. However, if you don't give them "grounds", you make it impossible for them. Essentially once you have refused an attack, you enable your spirit to break through a series of dark layers which were applied during the attack.Of course if you spot the attack as soon as it happens, good for you, your "switch" will be easier and you won't be hindered as much. In my previous postings I briefly mentioned that you need two verbal refusals. Penn-Lewis outlines a number of refusals which you can try. I have whittled them down to two. Here are the refusals to use: 1. “I refuse this attack, the grounds for it and I trust God to destroy it”.(To thwart a deceptive attack when it happens) 2. “I revoke all consent given knowingly or unknowingly to evil spirits and I insist they retire from the place they have taken by deceipt. I refuse their authority, power, claims & influence in or upon me. At this point I would like to reinforce what I mentioned about the nightly necessity of NT scripture reading. For the ability to stand daily in your deliverance and have the inner strength to do so, the scriptures work to energize the spirit by unblocking the outlet of the spirit into the body. The 3rd phase of spiritual warfare encompasses resistance. Although the bible says “resist the Devil and he will flee” it is virtually impossible to fully understand how one is to do this on a daily basis without reading around the subject. Keeping yourself free from temptations is not the resistance that is meant in the biblical sense, although it is the first step in keeping yourself daily in right-standing with the Lord. The resisting that you will be doing, is more to do with the spiritual aspect of the warfare. It's actually to do with how you “wrestle” and fight with the spirits that come against you in the dreamscapes that you will encounter. The spiritual warfare leading to deliverance and subsequent salvation is not something that must be entered into lightly. Some souls are going through financial difficulties, others must find food everyday. Many people are getting over a divorce, or the death of a loved one, while there are some people who are incarcerated for crimes they never committed and are sitting out long sentences. While there are people who are out there bringing the challenges upon themselves through sporting endevours, it seems that the majority are simply the victims of fate, time and circumstance.
