Please! Not a self centered celebration

Some people agree and others do not about the 25th December as a celebration of the birth of our Lord  Jesus. What I would like to share is not about the date but , about what people might think about Christmas, it’s time for families to come together and have a fellowship a great feast ,exchange presents, games for the small ones, everybody just enjoy it after year of  hard works etc… But I look  at the original picture: The World was falling into sin, Satan took control over men and women whom God was creating. God made a plan ,He is going to redeemed , how ? The SON? He must go down but He can’t go with all of this glory with Him, oh Yes, the Bible says “Who being in very nature of  God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made  himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant being made in human likeness” ( NIV Philipians 2:6-7 ). We are part of the Body of Christ which one part of it is suffering, it’s a  privilege for us in Mada to be part of this  coming event (the29th of february 2009) joining ten thousands of youth even millions I hope in the world to intercede on behalf of our brothers and sisters battling every day to live their faith freely. It’s a spiritual battle , I would like to invite all of you to take time to think and pray for these dear brothers and sisters. Just half of the revelation

“Praise and worship” is now days very popular among the evangelical especially the youth. It leads us into the “Presence of the Lord” that’s the term we usually use. The revelation which Isaiah had in Isaiah 6 is very interesting, he was in the presence of the Lord worshiping Him , but when he came closer to Him ; he heard His heart through His voice asking Him a crucial question:: “Whom shall I send ? And who will go for us? , surely after Isaiah’s sins has been taken away and he experienced this holy presence of God, he would prefer to stay there forever because it’s a comfort zone , it’s  a holy and safe place, far away from all turmoil , confusions and all struggles. But he didn’t; he had a sensitive spirit and an obedient heart , he respond positively to the Lord: “Here I am, send me”How many times we have been in “the presence of God” but how often we heard His voice calling us to obey Him?. What Gospel do I believe? Part 2 As a conclusion of the part 1 of this article I would say: Prosperity - Generosity = Greed . I am from the part of the world which called the Third world where the majority of people even Christians live in an extreme poverty and this very popular “prosperity “Gospel seems to give people hope and faith to get out of their misery and some Christians believe that they just need to “confess” that they are rich so they will become.They even sometimes claim that they serve the same God whom their brothers and sisters in the west serve so they claim before God their “right” . So these Christians always staying on position to become rich , If we are seeking God’s hands but not God’s face , we will be struggling.
