With their metalish power chords buzzing, and their lyrics delivering more than the typical happy-go-lucky message, they have helped to push Christian Rock music into a deeper, and sometimes darker realm. Of course, it is not for the purpose of residing in these shadowy areas. On the contrary, as their bassist Randy Armstrong states, “I think it?s just a sign of Christian music evolving. But at the end of the day, no matter what the message is wrapped in, the music is still about redemption. How people got out of their struggles and into their relationship with God.?
