Many of you may already be aware of this, but, it was new to me today, and may be new to many of you as well. I was made aware of a "new" (to me at least) search engine called "ProLife Search Engine". You just use it to do your web searches just like you would any other search engine such as Google or Yahoo. Now we all know when we use search engines we see the advertisments on these search engines, and this one is no different except in one respect. They "donate a minimum of 50% of all net profits to pro-life charities around the world" and by you using them to do your searching, you help enable them to make these donations. This revenue is generated by the advertisments. They have a list of Pro-Life charities and organizations they donate to here, and you can get additional information on them and their work here and for a list of more recent donations click here. This was started by two Cat holic men from Chicago, and you can read about them here. For more information go to the mai...

The prayer below, by Fath er John A. Hardon, best represents what we hope to accomplish, and what we hope to be in our mission on our journey of Faith through this blog.TEACH ME, O LORDTeach me, my Lord, to be kind and gentle in all the events of life, in disappointments, in the thoughtlessness of others, in the insincerity of those I trusted, in the unfaithfulness of those on whom I relied.Let me put myself aside, to think of the happiness of others, to hide my pains and heartaches, so that I may be the only one to suffer from them.Teach me to profit by the suffering that comes across my path. Let me so use it that it may mellow me, not harden or embitter me; that it may make me patient, not irritable; that it may make me broad in my forgiveness, not narrow, proud and overbearing.May no one be less good for having come within my influence. No one less pure, less true, less kind, less noble for having been a fellow traveler in our journey toward eternal life.As I go my rounds from on...
