COCONUT
2008-06-07 09:42:00
My soul is like a coconut It has a hardened shell That covers all my treasures My ability to dwell Within the beauty of my Spirit All He has for me Is governed by my soulish man Who will not set me free. I can choose to overthrow The power that is me By breaking through that toughened shell To find true liberty My Father's waiting for my call So He can aid my fight I want to have my Spirit man Released into the light.

HERE WITH US
2008-05-31 17:57:00
He's always here with us, you know He never goes away So if you feel abandoned All your colours turned to grey Try tuning your receiver To the constant holy waves Then you'll be reconnected To The One who loves to save. It's us who wander off the path We cram our lives with stuff If we do not put Him first Communications tough So when you think He's gone away Remember, it's our fault We worship other worldly gods And not The One we ought.
ABIDE IN ME
2008-05-21 05:48:00
Abide in Me, My precious child Come tell Me what you've done Whatever fear that grips you tight By Me, can be undone I will forgive your every sin Through what My Jesus did No matter what the gravity Please let Me lift the lid. Abide in Me, My precious child I've washed clean all your grime It's only you who's suffering Recalling all your crimes Believe that I have set you free From all the devil holds You are My child and not a slave Believe what you've been told.
RELAX
2008-05-14 20:02:00
Relax, sit down and ponder Just where you are today Are you moving in The Lord Or suffering from decay Do you bother asking Him To find an open door For you to move into the place That He has purpose for. Do you want to take that step Which stirs your comfort zone Listening for His gentle voice It's up to you alone Make a difference in this life A beacon you must be Shining in the darkest place To set the captive free.

QUILT
2008-05-06 05:50:00
AS I FACED MY MAKER AT THE LAST JUDGEMENT,I KNELT BEFORE THE LORD ALONG WITH THE OTHER SOULS.BEFORE EACH OF US LAID OUR LIVES LIKE THE SQUARES OF A QUILT IN MANY PILES; AN ANGEL SAT BEFORE EACH OF US SEWING OUT QUILT SQUARES TOGETHER INTO A TAPESTRY THAT IS OUR LIFE.BUT AS MY ANGEL TOOK EACH PIECE OF CLOTH OFF THE PILE, I NOTICED HOW RAGGED AND EMPTY EACH OF MY SQUARES WAS. THEY WERE FILLED WITH GIANT HOLES. EACH SQUARE WAS LABELED WITH A PART OF MY LIFE THAT HAD BEEN DIFFICULT, THE CHALLENGES AND TEMPTATIONS I WAS FACED WITH IN EVERY DAY LIFE. I SAW HARDSHIPS THAT I ENDURED, WHICH WERE THE LARGEST HOLES OF ALL.I GLANCED AROUND ME. NOBODY ELSE HAD SUCH SQUARES. OTHER THAN A TINY HOLE HERE AND THERE, THE OTHER TAPESTRIES WERE FILLED WITH RICH COLOR AND BRIGHT HUES OF WORLDLY FORTUNE. I GAZED UPON MY OWN LIFE AND WAS DISHEARTENED. MY ANGEL WAS SEWING THE RAGGED PIECES OF CLOTH TOGETHER, THEADBARE AND EMPTY, LIKE BINDING THE AIR. FINALLY THE TIME CAME WHEN EACH LIFE WAS TO BE DISPLAYED...

YOUR AUTHORITY RELEASES GOD'S POWER
2008-05-03 20:10:00
By Andrew Wommack Related Materials • Free MP3 download • Online TV broadcast • CD album • Tape album • DVD albumThere are a number of keys to seeing the miraculous power of God manifest on a consistent basis. One of the least understood, and therefore seldom practiced, is the fact that healing is under the authority of the believer. God has already provided His healing power and placed it on the inside of every born-again believer. It is up to us to release it. Understanding and using our authority is the key to seeing miracles happen.Look at how Peter and John ministered healing to the lame man in Acts 3:1-8:"Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; Who seeing Peter and John about to go int...

SICKNESS
2008-05-03 10:37:00
You like the thought of sickness It keeps you in your place People tend to notice you The pain etched on your face Gives you a leave of absence From joining in the life That you are trying to hide from There's safety in your strife. You've dug a stagnant cistern You wallow in it's mire Sadly you will waste away As people, of you, tire You have the choice of life or death You're missing such a lot Rise up from your septic tank For He is all you've got.

FORGIVENESS
2008-04-27 18:50:00
One day a while back, a man, his heart heavy with grief, was walking in the woods. As he thought about his life this day, he knew many things were not right. He thought about those who had lied about him back when he had a job.His thoughts turned to those who had stolen his things and cheated him.He remembered family that had passed on. His mind turned to the illness he had that no one could cure. His very soul was filled with anger, resentment and frustration. Standing there this day, searching for answers he could not find, knowing all else had failed him, he knelt at the base of an old oak tree to seek the one he knew would always be there. And with tears in his eyes, he prayed:"Lord- You have done wonderful things for me in this life. You have told me to do many things for you, and I happily obeyed.Today, you have told me to forgive. I am sad, Lord, because I cannot , I don't know how. It is not fair Lord. I didn't deserve these wrongs that were done against me and I should...

LOG
2008-04-26 09:47:00
The painful log is in your eye As you denounce another soul For being lesser than yourself Not meeting your exacting goal Pharisees were just the same Judging all who failed their test Even Jesus lost their game Crucified at their request. We must serve the least, the best Befriending all, no matter what God sees us as perfect ones Pure, unblemished, not a spot As we're hardly adverts for The way that Christians ought to be Surely we should focus on More of what is really me.
LOOT
2008-04-23 21:39:00
Do not take this personally But you are rather strange You go to church each sunday And give Him all your change Cos money is your stronghold You measure out your pence Believing that your earthly pile To you makes better sense. There are 2000 verses About the power of loot Stating love of money Can be an evil root Trust Him with your assets And honour His provision Store your treasures up in heaven To seed a fertile vision.

INSULAR
2008-04-20 14:25:00
Look out of your window Upon a different land Your insularity prevails Whilst sinking in the sand You like to be reminded Of all that's gone before It justifies your present state You dwell upon your sores. It's time to ask The Spirit If He will help you move Chuck your baggage in the skip Your outlook He'll improve Surely it's not healthy To fester in your cave Let the light into your dark Come on now, be brave.
NAUGHTY
2008-04-19 10:55:00
I've been a naughty boy today Thoughts bombard my addled brain Some are pleasing, rather nice Some should end up down the drain Sadly, though, the devil knows Just what revs my motor up Cannot cut them off at source Images I tend to sup. As my body heaves away Hates pollution of the kind That infiltrates my Spirit home Courtesy of damaged mind Thankfully repentance comes Washed and purified by He Who shed His precious blood abroad To cleanse a sinner such as me.
YOU LIVE
2008-04-17 19:36:00
You live your life as you see fit According to your strain You feel it is quite normal For your days to wax and wane Hoping that the weeks go by Surviving grief and pain You know there's something missing That you really can't explain. You are what you've grown to be A flower without a bloom Because you do things your own way You haven't made the room For God's direction in your life His Spirit you contain Let go, let God, let Him invade Release His living rain.

TEMPTATION
2008-04-13 14:30:00
By Andrew Wommack Related Materials • Free MP3 download • Online radio broadcast • CD album • Tape album Everyone faces temptation. But the truth is, very few people deal with it effectively. That shouldn’t be the case, and it doesn’t have to be the case for believers. There are some very simple and effective ways of dealing with temptation that you should know, and if you’ll put them into practice, I guarantee, you’ll come out the winner. It has been said, “Fail to plan and you’re planning to fail.” That statement could not be truer when it’s applied to temptation. I don’t know anyone who gets up in the morning and prays to fail when faced with temptation, but I know many people who get up each morning and fail to plan for what the Bible says we will all certainly face. So, first and most important, you must be prepared. That’s so simple, you have to have someone’s help to misunderstand. But, we must have had a lot o...

PLEASUREDOME
2008-04-12 08:51:00
Decision time is here again What to do with such a gift That's generous beyond all doubt The kind that gives financial lift Should we spend it on our needs Surely it's His gift to us Thanking us for what we've done We can count it as a plus. Perhaps it really is a test To see where our true treasure lays There are plenty poor out there Living out their meagre days We should offer up our wealth Trust that He will find a home For such a gift to prosper Him Not feather out our pleasuredome.
THE BRICK
2008-04-11 05:35:00
A young and successful executive was traveling down a neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars and slowed downwhen he thought he saw something. As his car passed, no children appeared . Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door! He slammed on the brakes and backed the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown. The angry driver then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up against a parked car shouting, 'What was that all about and who are you? Just what the heck are you doing? That's a new car and that brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money. Why did you do it?' The young boy was apologetic. 'Please, mister...please, I'm sorry but I didn't know what else to do,' He pleaded. 'I threw the brick because no one else would stop...' With tears dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth pointed to a spot just around a parked car. 'It's my ...

I WANDER
2008-04-08 16:21:00
I wander lonely as a cloud Riding thermals as they come Trusting that The Lord I serve Will enable me to plumb Constant depths of worldly ways Tugging roughly at my sleeve Keep your eyes on Me, He says It's My air you have to breathe. So the tightrope that I walk Means my balance must be right Ears and eyes attuned to Him Who has already won my fight Believing that I live no more Dead to self and devils lure I walk in Jesus, perfect One For my ills, He is the cure.

Put your money in the slot And magically you'll see Ten times it's worth come tumbling out To set a debtor free It seems so simple to perform He must be made of gold Is He trying to buy your love Creator being cold. He says that if you want returns A treasure that will last Then in His kingdom you must sow Upon His waters cast Your return will be a life That's worthy of His call To feed the hungry, help the poorest Pick up those who fall.
STAYING FULL OF GOD
2008-04-04 05:44:00
By Andrew WommackDo you ever feel like you and God have drifted apart and that the love and joy you once experienced with Him has faded? If you do, you’re not alone. Most Christians feel like the experiences they have with God diminish over time and that they need another touch. But is that the way it should be?The Bible says God will never leave us nor forsake us (Heb. 13:5). If that is true, and it is, who moved? As born-again believers, we are all capable of living in the fullness of God every day of our lives. God is continually pouring out His love, joy, peace, revelation knowledge, and every other blessing. But, we can get to a point where we’re not receiving and “feel” like He has drifted away.Romans 1:21 says,“When they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.”This scripture contains four separate elements, or keys, that can lead us into and keep us operating in th...

Based on what we know of God Believing what His word doth say About His endless love for us Which doesn't ever go away Knowing what He did for us His only Son, a sacrifice With all this knowledge in our heads Why do we take our own advice To go and serve a fallen world Gathering riches just in case Scared to take that final step Seeking out His glorious face Time will tell, I think you'll find Choices made will guide our fate Worshipping a sinking ship Or passing through a narrow gate.
EASTER
2008-03-23 10:16:00
Jesus Christ, we thank You On this Your wondrous day For dying on the cross for us Our sin, You gladly paid Though You've released us from the power Of condemnations weight We still hold back from giving You Admission to our fate. So roll away the stone which holds Us back inside our tombs Radiate Your light upon The darkness of the rooms Which lay neglected, hiding pasts That are so dear to us Resurrect us from ourselves In You we put our trust.

HE DIDN'T DIE
2008-03-19 05:24:00
He didn't die So we would be content to be in chains He didn't die So we would be content to be in pain His death was meant to signify The start of something new A chance to turn and face the world And change our point of view. Be assured that everything He did, was not a waste And all that we experience Will only be a taste The treasures that He has for us The blessings and the like Are ready for collection On the never ending hike.
THE SUFFERING OF JESUS
2008-03-18 05:36:00
Born into a world of anger The rich and greedy ran You came to help the leper The poorest kind of man Brought light into the darkness And lived a simple life You suffered, oh so greatly In Your walk of toil and strife. Upset the laws of hypocrites The pharisees and their kind And taught about The Father To people who were blind You ridiculed the system By changing all the rules Angering the mighty Demoting them to fools. No wonder they got angry And plotted out Your death Searching for a loophole So they could cut Your breath Then they finally got You Betrayed by Judas, friend It brought about a promise That You kept until the end. The agonizing, pain filled walk To where Your victory lay Was made for us and everyone Whose price You want to pay Defeating death and satan We need no longer fear You are our intercessor With the Father we hold dear. ...

AS JESUS HUNG
2008-03-15 14:43:00
As Jesus hung upon the Cross Can you imagine how He felt A man defiled by human hand The worst of outcomes He was dealt What was the point of all the pain A separation from His Dad The crowd was baying for His blood Inside, He must have felt so sad. Each side of Him was hung a thief Two men were dying for their crime One was going off to hell Didn't want to waste His time Believing that his future lay Between the devil and The Lord A cry to He who was so near Would save him from the untoward. The other man could see a hope Through Jesus he could change his life Believing that The Man was truth He saw through his impending strife Choosing Jesus for his soul The Lord was pleased that something good Had come out of His sacrifice Upon that ghastly Cross of wood.
TO MEET SUCH A MAN
2008-03-14 16:06:00
I sat, with two friends, in the picture window of a quaintrestaurant just off the corner of the town-square. The food and thecompany were both especially good that day.As we talked, my attention was drawn outside, across the street. There, walking into town, was a man who appeared to be carrying allhis worldly goods on his back. He was carrying, a well-worn signthat read, 'I will work for food.' My heart sank.I brought him to the attention of my friends and noticed thatothers around us had stopped eating to focus on him. Heads moved ina mixture of sadness and disbelief. We continued with our meal, but his image lingered in my mind. Wefinished our meal and went our separate ways. I had errands to doand quickly set out to accomplish them. I glanced toward the townsquare, looking somewhat halfheartedly for the strange visitor. Iwas fearful, knowing that seeing him again would call someresponse. I drove through town and saw nothing of him I made somepurchases at a store and got back in ...

Fear and envy clothe my soul But the past has taken toll I’m a jelly easily shaken Worth and confidence forsaken Come on in, but stay away I’m not brave enough today All this talk of God is fine But He’s not a friend of mine. Why?, if He created me Did He forget to oversee The blooming of this butterfly Free to live and touch the sky Someone who is not afraid To be an equal, debts all paid Open, friendly, loving, kind Patient, tender, clear of mind. Come, Lord Jesus, break this mold Breathe Your warmth into this cold Draw me from the shadows deep Shine Your light upon this creep I want beauty, I want joy Oh to ...

You have reached your pigpen A place that you have sought By being lured by worldly ways Your morals have been bought Now you wallow in the mud Consumed by darkness deep You are heading for the place Where fools and lemmings weep. Prodically, there is a hope It's really not too late Turn your back on who you are It's you who holds your fate Father wants to welcome you Come back out of the cold Fall into His outstretched arms If you would be so bold.
