Endlessly the light reveals itself. The hidden realms no longer lie in shadow.Through Torah the night becomes day as it was meant to be.As Israel opens itself a rainbow appears and once again all is new. Parsha Mishpatim: Let?s put this section into context with the rest of Torah. The revelation has now passed through Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and now resides in the children of Israel led by Moses and Aaron. What is this revelation? It is the unity of the presence of Hashem within. This unity applies everywhere and to everyone. Hashem speaks to Moses and to Israel. The problem is that Israel finds it hard to listen with the same degree of clarity as Moses. After Yitro meets with Moses the revelation seems to become even more distant from Israel as a series of laws are commanded providing even more of a veil to shield Israel from Hashem. This journey they take to the Promised Land will not end even when they get there since the revelation of Abraham Isaac and Jacob is determin...

2007-02-14 15:59:00
This finishes the section on the Sephiroth that we?ve been considering since verse 123.193. And what is the meaning of the verse (Genesis 49:24), "From there is the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel." From "There" is nourished the Rock of Israel. What is the meaning of "from There"? We say that this is the Supernal Righteous One (Tzadik). What is it? It is [the precious stone called] Socheret. And the stone that is below it is called Dar. And what are the rays mentioned in the verse (Habakkuk 3:4), "He has rays from His hand"? These are the five fingers of the right hand. Commentary: We are repeating somewhat of what we?ve learned in the previous verses but this time we are putting them into context with each other. The meanings share each other?s radiance like the sharpened rays of a crystal will reflect through one another. What is important here is the word ?there.? This tells us that there is a place within from which all the radiance of Hashem is shining. The purpose in telling...

2007-02-08 16:58:00
Parsha YitroThe curious character of Yitro shows up again in this Parsha. The last time we saw him was when he gave Moses leave to go back to Egypt to rescue Israel. Prior to that Moses has his revelation on Mount Sinai. Now just before Moses is about to go up the mountain again Yitro appears. Yitro is a priest (Kohain) of Midian. This mountain is also sacred to his people. Moses is pleased to see him and it appears even more so than he is to see his wife and two sons. Yitro acknowledges Hashem and builds an altar to Hashem to worship there. Yitro watches Moses judging the people and suggests something that at first seems very sensible but will later prove to keep Israel ultimately away from the very thing they are seeking, unity with Hashem. Yitro suggests organizing the people in a hierarchy or judges in order to save Moses from tiring himself. It is unfortunate and yet perhaps fated that Yitro appears when he does because it gives us a further insight into the problems...

The mystery deepens even more here as we get a sense of just who Abraham really was and what his awesome role in the world took on.191. And why did they despise it? Is it not written (Genesis 26:5), "Because Abraham hearkened to My voice, and kept My watch, My commandments, My decrees, and My Torahs." What is the meaning of "My watch"? It refers to what the Attribute of Kindness said: As long as Abraham was in the world, I did not have to do my job. Abraham stood there in my place and "kept my watch." It is my task to bring merit to the world, and even when people are guilty, I bring them merit. I also bring them back, directing their hearts to do the will of their Father in heaven. All this Abraham did, as it is written (Genesis 21:33), "And he planted a tamarisk in Beersheba, and he called there in the name of the Lord, God of the world." He would share his bread and water with all the people in the world, bringing them merit. Seeking to convince them, he would say, "Whom then are...

Parsha Beshalach:It's breakout time. Under stand this. The moment you have the realization that you can indeed be free of negative thoughts or the polarized left column of the Tree of Life, you will immediately be drawn in towards the center where harmony exists in perfection with the reality of your life. Egypt represents the reliance upon the material world for your well-being. It negates the causation behind material wealth and see the ends as a means unto itself. Israel represents the harmonization of thoughts that will occur in any free market system of thinking. This free market system of thinking allows thoughts to grow naturally without the hindrance of overpowering doubt. This isn't to say that resistance isn't necessary to strengthen the flow of cognition. It is just that we cannot mistake this resistance as a force divorced from the unification of Hashem. This is was and always will be the sole purpose of creation. It is that purpose that drives the energy which flows e...

2007-01-26 18:00:00
Verse 189 And master, you are the one who told us in Rabbi Yochanan's name that there are only two arms of the world." He replied: Yes. But here "rays" allude to the two rays that are below them. And what are they? He said: With the anger of your head. And what is above? He said: The fear of God.Commentary: What we are talking about here is the extension of awareness that takes place in response to one level influencing another level. There is subtle interplay of energies taking place between thoughts and our emotions. When it says the anger of your head we are talking about a projection of thought that starts out below and then ascends naturally by the attraction of what is called the fear of God. The pathways within are described in this manner in order to convey the spatial confluences of the various levels of discovery engendered by these questions and answers. The techniques used here throughout the Bahir and its corollary the Zohar apply to the study of consciousness th...

Parsha Bo:Pharaoh recognizes Hashem repeatedly in this Parsha yet refuses to yield to Moses? demands. This recognition is of the name that was given to Moses especially due to his level of understanding yet Pharaoh too seems to be familiar with Hashem as he keeps referring repeatedly to Hashem. Yes we know that Hashem hardens Pharaoh's heart in order to make the lessons more dramatic but this doesn't explain Pharaoh's knowledge of Hashem. Also when Moses explains the locusts plague Pharaoh seems to relent and allow them to leave. Ex 10:10 'And he said unto them: 'So be the LORD with you, as I will let you go, and your little ones; see ye that evil is before your face.'Then the next line: Ex: 10:11 'Not so; go now ye that are men, and serve the LORD; for that is what ye desire.' And they were driven out from Pharaoh's presence.'What happens next is not the Exodus but rather Hashem continues with the plague of locusts. Something is missing here since Pharaoh repents l...

Parsha Vaera: Kabbalah explains that consciousnes...
2007-01-17 18:36:00
Parsha Vaera:Kabbalah explains that consciousness is the deciding factor in all of our actions both above and below. The key force that determines the direction of consciousness is contained solely in the recognition that is detailed in this weeks Parsha Vaera. When Hashem speaks to Moshe he tells him that YHVH is the same Elohim as was known by Abraham, Isaac and Jacob called El Shaddai. The subtext is still that this is the same 'I am that I am' that spoke to Moshe when he asked who shall I say has sent me. This is pure being and is the place where consciousness originates from. In essence it is the all pervading essence of G-d contacted through connection and sustained by mitzvoth through the intermediary of Shechinah or the feeling nature of connection. This is a concept that cannot be easily explained to a people that live in the darkness of Mitzraim tied to the materiality of existence. The announcement by Hashem of this new revelation is meant to give the children of...

Here is this weeks Parsha Shemot. Change the world...
2007-01-11 23:02:00
Here is this weeks Parsha Shemot. Change the world by changing your mind one universe at a time. Our modern perceptual constructs still cling to the old world divisions of separation thinking that physical reality has to be overcome by physical solutions. It is after all the mind set that must be changed, however this process is elusive. How this may be accomplished relies upon the unitary principle of connection with Hashem. One man making that connection is all that is needed. The true challenge of our times is to open our minds in such a way as to make this possible in the same way on a football field the offensive blockers open up the way for that lone runner to achieve the goal post at the opposite end of the field. I cannot stress enough the limited capacity for change when working solely in Assiah or the world of effects. Time which is the motivator of progress can only be dematerialized within the higher levels. Some might say that thinking in this manner is simply pipe drea...

Parsha Vayechi
2007-01-05 04:43:02
Thought must inevitably go through transformations. These transformations make it difficult to unify the cause and the effect in our time based perceptual reality. Ultimately our thoughts continue until they are reproduced in like manner becoming the image of the perfection of thought. There comes a time when the initial thought passes away because the intention of that thought is no longer focused upon the level of ideation first realized in the projection of that thought. Secondary thoughts take over the meaning of the this initial projection imbuing new life so to speak into the conceptual relationships taking place as a result of the intial impetus of intention. In a sense then thought moves or transforms to another level of being. This happens because thought is not static but is always moving. Therefore it is this eternal movement called creation that stands behind every idea that has ever been accepted as a part of the generation of that idea inside of consciousness. ...

The flow of ideation is described here. It moves from one place to another as will be explained.Verse 187. The fear of God is the one that is higher. It is in thepalm of God's hand. It is also His Force. This palm (kaf) is called the pan of merit (Kaf Zechut). This is because it inclines the world to the pan of merit. It is thus written (Isaiah 11:3), "I will grant him a spirit of the fear of God, and he will not judge by the sight of his eyes, he will not admonish according to what his ear hears." He will incline all the world to the pan of merit. From there counsel emanates, and from there health emanates to the world. [It is also written,] (Genesis 49:24) "From there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel." This is the place that is called "There." Regarding this, it is written (Habakkuk 3:4), "[He has rays from His hand,] and His hidden Force is there. Parsha Vayigash
2006-12-29 04:37:03
What is it that we have learned about the workings of the inner mind concerning the activities of the most high? Thoughts decay. They deteriorate according to the places from which they are first taken. These places represent the direction of our intention. it is where our mind goes when following any chain of relationships within. Mind cannot know anything except in the symbolic knowing of such thing. Observe this now and see what becomes of it. Notice how the road continously branches according to the emphasis you place on where you are going. You are on your way to somewhere but still aren't sure of where you are going. The connection between the point of departure and the destination hasn't been made yet. These are what are known as the in between times. You recognize your missteps but are still bound by the chain of causation. You haven't yet learned how to change your mind. Divine inspiration is always available but only to those who seek it actively. There ar...
Parsha Mikeitz
2006-12-22 04:32:01
This Parsha sets the stage for Israel's inevitable descent into Egypt. It is true that circumstances have led them to this point. It is also true that their actions too have made this road into Egypt inevitable. If only Israel could wake up and follow Hashem their fate might have been avoided. Joseph through his spirit of prophecy does wake up only for long enough to divine the future. He realizes he is a part of G-d's ultimate plan for the deliverance of Israel which is why he arranges all of the events that befall his brothers. Joseph comes in at the level of Yesod seeing that which is to come in the future. It isn't for him to make his own destiny. He simply becomes the observer of destiny rising to this level through his right actions. Joseph is caught between both worlds. Here all of his efforts revolve around bringing his family into Egypt taking them irrevocably away from their home in Canaan. Joseph isn't the master who can heal both past and future. This will be up to M...

Inward Quest
2006-12-21 04:31:02
Seek the greater mystery through the latticework of your perception. Listen within using the intention of rising higher in your understanding in this way. Form your thoughts from on high and release them below. Watch and expect to find your good. Keep at it in this way for the results you seek are a function of what you expect to see. Thought knows itself and then builds out of itself what it needs in order to fully express itself. Thought begins in a flash of inspiration and then expands to include everything that surrounds that thought including the relationship it has with other thoughts either like or unlike itself.

The further away you get from the cause the more you become immersed in the effects and become distanced from the cause of these effects. In a sense this Parsha speaks about the Tree of Knowledge and the Tree of Life. The Tree of Knowledge answers the following question; 'what would it be like if so and so happens?' The Tree of Life speaks solely about the cause of all being saying return unto this cause for here is where your life begins and never ends. This cause issues forth the light of understanding flowing effortlessly into and through our souls. If we do not listen for and attend to this cause of all causes we cannot possibly expect harmony to be present in our lives. Always the direction is towards Hashem and too many times do we turn away forgetting or willfully assuming that our thoughts of the moment will overreach all the thoughts that have come before. There is a method to all of this and it is this method that we learn about here and elsewhere throughout Tora...

Bahir Verse 186
2006-12-12 16:24:03
We reside within the inner chamber now in all of our explanations. The meanings have been explained in terms of substitution of symbol for word and visa versa. More of the same follows here,186. What is the meaning of the verse (Job 15:2), "Should a wise man answer knowledge of spirit?" What is "knowledge of spirit"? This is the Knowledge that is close to the spirit. Regarding this it is written (Isaiah 11:2) , "And there will rest upon him a spirit of God, a spirit of wisdom and understanding, [a spirit of counsel and strength, a spirit of knowledge and the fear of God]." [First comes] Wisdom, and then comes Understanding. And in Understanding is "counsel, strength, knowledge and the fear of God." But you told us that "counsel" is deeds of Kindness, and that Understanding is the Attribute of Justice. [One is above the other.] Knowledge is Truth. Knowledge is therefore that with which one recognises the truth. "The fear of God" is the Treasury of the Torah . This is like I say, bu...

Parsha Vayishav
2006-12-07 16:21:05
Parsha Vayishav Jacob sends forth messengers. Messengers are angels and angels are thoughts. Seir refers to Zeir Anpin due to a play on words here. This gives us an indication of how Jacob is moving up the tree on his path of return following his successful passing of the test of Laban in the last chapter. Jacob is now undertaking the way of return corresponding to the movement up the Tree of Life. When Jacob meets Esau he sends forth his angels - messengers- to meet with Esau's messengers or angels. This is the consciousness that actively seeks YHVH meeting with the consciousness that does not actively seek YHVH. Consciousness has the unique quality of reflection meaning that when we rise to the level of Elohim everything around us is transformed even if only for the moment of being in the presence of this vibrational level. This is why Esau is not angry with Jacob because Esau is being immersed then in the higher wisdom or emanation of Elohim described by R.Shimon Bar Yochai in h...

We go further still inside of our conception of holiness. 185. How can one do kindness to his Master? By studying the Torah. All study of Torah is a deed of kindness toward one's Master. It is thus written (Deuteronomy 33:26) , "He rides the heavens with your help, [His pride is in the skies]." God says, "When you study Torah for its own sake, then you help Me and I can ride the heavens." Then, "His pride is in the skies (Shechakim). " What is Shechakim ? We say that it is in the innermost chamber. The Targum thus renders it, "His word is in the Heaven of Heaven." Therefore, "not by bread alone does man live, but from all that emanates from God's mouth does man live." However, "the fool answers brazenly." "Abandon this brazenness, and do not reply in this manner!" He is therefore punished. What is his punishment? We have already discussed it. Commentary: What or who is your master? It is your highest thoughts coming from the Keter of your awareness. This kindness that is spoke...

The Direct Results of Thought
2006-12-02 16:18:03
Thoughts become the breath of the mind. They have energy and specific vibrational qualities. They may unify or they may tear apart it is all up to the 'chooser' that part of yourself that is waking up into the fullest consciousness of self. This full consciousness means that you are aware of the process taking place within you. You are aware of your part in making the choices that promote your peaceful mind. You pay attention now then to what you are thinking without following your thinking. The best way to do this is to use the mind's wonderful capacity for imitation. Set a groove and let mind repeat that groove endlessly making variations upon a theme and spinning offshoots of discovery that keep the highest groove going. Think of your thoughts as you would the air you breathe. Make them as pure as can be. Strive to maintain every positive direction by simply repeating positive ideas or reaching up for inspiration. Keep at this a while and you know what happens? ...

Parsha Vayetze
2006-12-02 16:18:03
The richness of this Parsha overflows with treasures pure and delightful. We see first of all in the opening line...And Jacob went forth from Beer-sheba, and went toward Haran Lets take this verse and see where consciousness takes it. Yaakov is the one who supplants or takes the place of the apparent heir of Yitzhak's blessing. What is this like? A King is building a palace and decides to use the timber that is close at hand in the forest nearby. It is strong wood but the King is still unsure about whether it is fitting to use this strand of forest for his palace building purposes. Then just as construction is about to begin the Queen comes back from a long journey with carts filled with the precious cedars of Lebanon. Because she knows that the King's palace must radiate with majesty she tells the chief architect to use the cedar wood instead of the trees from the forest that happens to be close at hand. After Yaakov receives the blessing he leaves the well of the oath ...
Bahir 184
2006-12-02 16:18:03
What becomes disconcerting after a while is the disparity between the world you are making and the world that appears already to be. This disparity exists due to your own preconceived notions about what the world really is. It isn't despite evidence to the contrary solid. Oh I know if you drop a ball it will hit the ground all right and that you can't drive any further than the vehicle in front of you but that isn't what I am talking about. It is this. The world is set up for change according to the changes you place upon. Just as water assumes the shape of its container so too does the world assume the shape of its container. What is the world's container? It is mind and quite specifically your mind. You may look no further as they say. It is exactly this question of where are we looking in terms of who is responsible for our good that this next verse addresses directly. Verse 184. What is the reason that we say [in blessings, "Blessed are you...] who made us holy wi...

2006-12-02 16:18:03
Synopsis: Ever ything is vibration. According to quantum physics the dimensions that exist simultaneously together side by side are differentiated by the level of vibration that occurs within each. If we extend this view to the nth degree this universe we now inhabit not only is affected by the singular vibrations we experience currently but as these vibrations change the very nature or dimensionality of this universe changes. No matter what else is going on inside of Parsha Toldos the central theme is the struggle for existence between the dimensions of holiness and the dimensions of chaos. In quantum physics it is the observer or onlooker who changes the nature of the experiment. The same is true with Jacob who refused to live in a world without the blessings of his father. His father Yitzhak represents the creative energy of awakening or the pathway that leads into the future through the Shekinah described more clearly perhaps as your very own feeling nature where connection leads...

2006-12-02 16:18:03
In this week's revelation of discovery we learn about the connections that Torah has internally within itself and externally in terms of bringing forth new ideas into our consciousness. It is said that there is a singular moment when you just know a thing. Similarly there was a singular moment when Israel walked the desert that they knew they would be leaving and arriving at their stated intention of the Promised Land. This moment only arose because as with one ear they listened to Hashem. The story from Bereshit onwards is the ongoing study of listening within. At each step we are asked to go further inside of that primordial point of expression deep inside the darkness that is light expressing the holiness that accompanies us every step of the way. Our journey has always been ordained from this same Bereshit. We are the makers made in the image of seeking our way of return to the One. What this means is that were we to remember for even the slightest instant what our original...

This weeks Parsha Chayei Sarah
2006-12-02 16:18:03
First in order to discuss this parsha we have to experience a series of events. All of these events are interconnected. Let's see how.Sara h 's passingSarah's loss means a potential loss of connection with the Shekinah the divine feminine. The first thing Abarham wants to do is to prepare and purchase a burial place. Everything which follows in this story takes place because of the need to reestablish the earthly presence of the Shekinah in the line of Abraham's people. More on this later now on to HethThe purchase of the burial place the cave of MachepelahAbraham chooses Heth to negotiate for a burial place. Cheth Tav. In a sense the beginning and the end of life and then the continuation of faith through the generation of new life. Simply put thought serves its purpose and then is put to rest while the sparks inherent in the revelation of thought may never be extinguished. Four hundred shekels for the purchase of the field. It is the number of Tav. It is important for ...

These next three verses seem to be talking about the differences between the singular and the plural and what significances these fine points confer upon us.181. Why is it written, "My sabbaths you shall keep," [in the plural] rather than "My sabbath" [in the singular]? What is this like? A king had a beautiful bride, and every week she would set aside a day to be with him. The king also had beautiful beloved sons. He said to them, "Since this is the situation, you should also rejoice on the day of my joy. For it is for your sake that I strive,, and you also respect me." Commentary: Continuity. We cannot develop momentum spiritually without it. Without momentum we will not ascend the levels of contemplation necessary to reach the holiness that surrounds us within and without. The king is Hashem and the bride is the sabbath. Internally the implication is for connection on a regular basis especially during this period of directed contemplation called the Sabbath. The Sabbath is ...

In order to attract that which you seek you have to think about it. This goes for anything that you wish to attract into your life. This attraction is a natural force designed to put you in line with what you are thinking about. This force operates from above to below in varying levels of intensity depending upon how you make yourself feel in the moment.

Bahir Verse 180
2006-12-02 16:18:03
Keep in mind a picture of the Tree of Life in this verse.Verse 180. There are three Spheres in this world. How? This world inclines to the north and the south. How? North west south. North west is the first sphere that revolves around us. Do we then say that it is to the north-west? But we say that its strength is to the north. This is the left foot. Above it is the second Sphere, which is entirely to the west. Do we then say that it is to the west? But we say that its power is to the west. These are the Victories of the world. Above it is the third Sphere, and its power is to the south-west. What is the original power that you said was second? We say that this is the right foot. And what is the power that is to the south-west? This is the Foundation of the world. Regarding this it is written (Proverbs 10:25) , "The Righteous is the Foundation of the world." The second power stands behind the Chariot, while the first power stands in front of it. The "Righteous, Foundation of the wor...
